"Why am I not surprised to see your level as Undefined?"

Evan spoke while shaking his head, and Arthur glanced over to see what his status looked like from Evan’s point of view.

"Those are Stat Levels, right? Those numbers beside each stat."

"Yeah. Your stats wouldn’t increase until your Level becomes ’defined’ again, so you’re stuck like this until you actually become a Transcendent."

The Rogue Hero had experience with being Undefined for months before, so he already knew what was going to happen.

"Your Universe’s system doesn’t have much in the way of Privacy laws, Evan."

"The heck? What happened?"

Evan raised a brow in question and Arthur just sighed and showed the last requirement for him to become Transcendent.

| Condition 10: Creation of Three Forms? of Technique?? Or Unique Skill?? Or Ability?? Termed by Entity: ’Arthur Vaughn’, as ’Extreme Nothingness?’: 2/3|

"That’s your Unique Skill..."

"It’s a technique I created, but your Universe thinks it’s strong enough to be a Unique Skill.

It also considers each variation of it as a Unique Skill in its own right."

When Arthur said this, Evan was momentarily taken aback, then he remembered the amounts of damage he’d seen Arthur deal with them and understood why the System thought that way.

The default ’Extreme Nothingness’ thrusting attack that fired a beam, and ’Extreme Nothingness: Seismic Surge’ were powerful enough to be standalone Unique ’Series’ Skills.

"The Universe wants me to create a third, so it can properly understand the ins and outs of my technique which it fails to do due to the nature of my power being ’Nothingness’."

|Unknown Existential Record Detected: Incomplete Computation. Requesting Record Modification for Accurate Database Integration. |

|ALERT: Incomputable Records Are Not Permissible—$!%ERROR_1056!|

Those two messages had shown up in Arthur’s vision and the information that they provided was enough for him to draw conclusions.

It seemed the System wasn’t designed to have Existential Records it could not peruse and was trying to make Arthur turn Extreme Nothingness into a Record it could properly peruse.

"Wait a sec. If you make a third variation and it considers that one to be a Unique Series Skill...it’s trying to create an Ultimate Seed!"

Evan spoke, and Arthur confirmed his words with a nod. The System wanted to create an Ultimate Seed out of Extreme Nothingness, not because it wanted to help Arthur grow stronger, but because in the process of creating the Ultimate Seed, it’d be able to see everything about Extreme Nothingness that it wants to see.

"But why is it telling you to create a third variation out of nowhere? That’s unreasonable! How long would it take for you to do..."

Evan abruptly went silent when he saw Arthur conjure a weapon out of magic power and coat it in purple energy.

"...you’re already working on one..."

"I am.

This is probably...no, it’s definitely the reason why the System added this condition.

Because I’ve already used something powerful enough to be considered a Third Variation of Extreme Nothingness, but I didn’t sustain it long enough for the System to compute it."

Arthur thought back to his battle against Duskhand in January.

That was the first time he’d used this slashing variation of Extreme Nothingness and combined it with a Chronoslash to attack Duskhand’s past.

He explained this to Evan and the Rogue Hero nodded in understanding.

"Leaving aside how you can attack someone’s past from the present. The System already knows that Three Variations exist, but it needs more information about the third."

"Yeah. However, I have not been successful at recreating the third.

Sure, the incomplete ones I’ve used were much more powerful than the one I used then since I’ve grown stronger, but if I were to scale down my power back to how I was then, then they wouldn’t even reach 50% of it."

In other words, the completed Slashing Variation of Extreme Nothingness should be twice as powerful as the incomplete one he was using, which could already behead Inferior Stage Transcendents.

When Arthur had fought Duskhand, he had chaotically mashed his Cosmic Energy, Time and Destruction Law energies, Anti-Divinity and Null together.

’I’ve not been able to recreate that synergy even after properly controlling the energies and using the exact same amount I used that time...’

"When you get your Ultimate Skill out of it, what’s it gonna be called? Extreme Nothingness Authority?"

Evan’s question pulled Arthur from his sea of thoughts and he nodded in affirmation.

"Yeah. Simple is best. I’d change it if it tries to give me any cringe names."

It wouldn’t be the first time Arthur changed a skill name because he didn’t like it, after all.

The two boys went silent after that, their focus turned towards themselves as they analysed the power upgrades that they had acquired.

While Evan reviewed his status board to see where his stats and skill stood now, Arthur was feeling out the boosts to his Progenitor Authority.

Included in the EXP he gained for destroying the Book of Truth, was the Progenitor Authority that Syndra had left in it.

It was enough to make Arthur’s Progenitor Authority 2x Stronger.

Let’s say that Arthur’s full power was 100 units. Previously, merely activating his Progenitor Authority bumped that up to 135 units. If there was a hostile ’Divine’ in his Authority range, then more cosmic energy was consumed to bump it up to 175 units

So, Arthur was 75% stronger against Divines.

This was ignoring the fact that it weakened Divines by a certain percentage, and allowed him to deal 25% more damage to Divines, whilst receiving 25% less damage from them.

There was his 50% increased resistance to Soul-based attacks from Divines as well.

And then if there are other godslayers fighting on his behalf, they receive a 30% power boost.

But after absorbing the portion of Authority that Syndra left behind, Arthur’s Progenitor Authority increased in power.

Still taking his full power as 100 units, merely activating it now bumped it up to 175 units. If there was a hostile ’Divine’ in his Authority range, then more cosmic energy was consumed to bump it up to 250 units.

That was an extra 150% power boost at the cost of cosmic energy consumption.

The good part was that his energy efficiency also increased, so he consumed less energy to maintain the same effects!

Also, the weakening effect of his power increased in potency, so he could take more power from high-level opponents now.

By Valmone Universe standards the minimum amount he could drain was 33 Levels. His range had also increased by 50%.

The other Boosts and Bonuses remained the same, but Arthur didn’t mind; he was already happy with this, even though he knew he was surely on Syndra’s blacklist now.

"Let’s make a List titled: Arthur’s Stat Boosts and Bonuses."

Arthur spoke as he scribbled down items on his tab, eventually jotting down all the power boosts and bonuses he knew off-hand.

|Progenitor Authority;

75% Overall Power Boost on Activation.

150% Overall Power Boost against Divines.

25% Damage Bonus against Divines.

25% Damage Reduction against Divines.

50% Soul Damage Resistance against Divines.

Passive Divinity Absorption from Divines in Range.

X% Weakening of Divines Within Range. (Existence Realm Dependent)

Maximum Range: 1.5 million km²

30% Power Boost to godslayers fighting on Progenitor’s behalf. |

"What other power is there...?"

He asked himself this as he chewed on the head of his pen, before deciding to pen down some things that were not damage-related.

|Race Command;

Race Creation; (Currently Unusable)

Race Conversion;

Divine Spark Extraction;

Divine Spark Attraction (Core Magnetism);

Divine Spark Absorption/Divine Spark Devouring; |

’Race Conversion is basically what guys like Vampires do, huh? I wonder how they can all do it. Did the Progenitor Vampire just get lazy and share his Authority with his ENTIRE race?

Arthur quickly discounted that theory. Even the Progenitor Vampire could not use his power on all vampires in the Cosmos at once.

"I guess that’s all of it for now."

He shut off the tablet and tossed it into his subspace, before getting to his feet and turning to Evan.

"Yo. Let’s go check out some Gozonian hot springs. Need to wash off before the blood dries."

Evan, who was looking through his System’s Archive, nodded as he closed the interface and got to his feet, then stretched his limbs.

"Yeah, let’s go."

Arthur created a cosmic gate right next to them, and in a few minutes, the boys were crossing space to return to Gozon.
