Chapter 547: AlphaHybrid

A ’part’ of Jamie’s full power, was a High-Tier Deity. This meant Jamie’s real body back in his home Universe was at a far higher level.

"What’s your main body’s realm?"

"You know about the ’Zenith Haven’?"

Jamie replied his question with another and Arthur shook his head as he had never heard of that Existence Realm. The most he knew was Lucifer’s realm before his death—Grand Supreme—so he asked a different question.

"How far off is that from ’Grand Supreme’?"

"It’s two Realms above it."

It turned out that Jamie’s real body was even stronger than Lucifer was.

Moving on, it was finally Arthur’s turn for the introductions.

"Arthur Vaughn, Hell Universe’s resident Progenitor godslayer. Oh, I’m a Prince too.

Anyway, I got bored at home—even though I haven’t even seen 1% of the whole Universe—so when I got my hands on a Cosmic Artifact that lets me hop Universes, I didn’t hesitate to come over to the first set of coordinates on it.

Like Evan, I fell on the Demons’ side of the planet too."

When Arthur mentioned a Cosmic Artifact, Jamie’s eyes moved towards the wide bracelet on his right forearm.

"That’s it, right?"

Knowing Jamie was a Cosmic Being, Arthur wasn’t surprised that the man could detect the Cosmic Teleporter’s functions at a glance.

"Yep."

After Arthur replied, Evan leaned forward a bit and spoke.

"You’re pretty vocal about this. Most people would normally be secretive about such an artifact."

True, Arthur had not shied away from informing people about the Cosmic Teleporter if they asked, and there were reasons for this.

"First off, this thing can only be used with Cosmic Energy. People who can use such are rare, even when you scale things up to a Universe’s level."

Jamie nodded in affirmation after he spoke. The man had spent a long time in Valmone and the number of beings with Cosmic Superiority he had found could be counted on two hands.

"Secondly, only I can use this thing. And lastly..."

Arthur got up after he said this, and walked over to the window of the room as he unstrapped the Cosmic Teleporter from his wrist.

He then opened the window and tossed it out, then teleported back to his seat under the surprised gazes of the other two.

"Give it a second."

Not even a second passed when a streak of light shot in through the window and onto Arthur’s arm. In the next second, the fabric of spacetime was ripped open by the formation of a Cosmic Gate which then released an attraction force that dragged Arthur towards it.

Before it could fully suck him away, Arthur snapped his fingers and the force disappeared, allowing his body to fall back onto the couch.

It was pretty clear that getting the Cosmic Teleporter away from Arthur would trigger its security functions and automatically create a gate to send him to safety.

"No wonder you’re so confident."

Evan, who now understood why Arthur was so nonchalant about it, spoke as he leaned back on the couch and in response, the godslayer only shrugged.

"Anyway, Jamie. Can you help me out with the Gravity stuff while we talk?"

Arthur quickly brought up his Number 1 priority as of now. If he gained his Pseudo-Authority in Gravity, his energy capacity would expand. This would give him the space for the extra energy he needed to achieve Transcendence.

Hearing this, Evan couldn’t help but ask a question.

"I was thinking the other Demon Queen would be better suited for this..."

He was referring to the ’Demon Queen of Gravitas’ who was the one who had pointed out Arthur’s dormant Pseudo-Origin core in the first place.

"She could help, sure. But when it comes to Gravity, I’m better."

Jamie declared with unwavering confidence that his expertise in Gravity surpassed even that of a Demon Queen whose main schtick was Gravity Manipulation.

"Huh?"

Seeing Evan’s expression, Jamie laughed and held up his right hand, putting down a finger for every line Demon Ruler he called out.

"I’m better at Darkness than McEnda. Better at Destruction than Malorum. Better at Ice than Xagthor...the list goes on.

The reason why they have those titles is because those are their strongest laws. It doesn’t mean they’re the best at it."

He explained before gesturing at himself and continuing.

"I, for example, am the ’Demon King of the Void’, because ’Void Manipulation’ is what I use to hit the hardest.

I’m not even a Demon in the first place, though."

The latter half of his statement was spoken with a nonchalant shrug of his shoulders and hearing it, Arthur remembered another thing about Jamie that he found strange.

"How are you a ’Demon King’ when you’re not even a ’Demon’? I thought these titles were ’Race Ruler’ titles and could only be given to people of a specific race..."

That was how he understood the Valmone Universe’s ’Race Ruler’ system to work, but Jamie before him was a contradiction to that system.

The reason why was one he didn’t see coming.

Holding up his hands, Jamie conjured different sigils emanating powerful ’Authority’ and law energy, lighting each one up as he called out the respective race names.

"I can be a ’Demon King’, ’Angel King’, ’Dragon King’, ’Vampire King’, ’Human King’ or ’whatever King’ is out there.

I’m the only exception to the race modifiers because I’m the one who put those modifiers in the first place."

Arthur and Evan both had their eyes widen in surprise when they heard his words and with a grin, Jamie declared.

"I’m the one who brought the ’Race Ruler’ system to this Universe, after all."

Obviously, the Valmone Universe must have started using this titling system at one point, and that point was the first time Jamie (with his real body) came to this Universe millions of years ago.

The time when the current Race Emperors (except Kaylatheurge) weren’t even born.

His home Universe—Zanerth—used this titling system and when he came here, he introduced it to the people of this Universe.

"The only reason why I’m on the Demons’ side is because most of my friends are there."

It was for such a simple reason that the Demon Race in this Universe had a Cosmic Being on their side.

"Damn...that’s a deeper lore drop than I expected."

"I know, right?"

The two teenagers spoke one after the other and Jamie just chuckled at their reactions.

Jamie wasn’t a Demon despite being one of their Kings, so this then brought the question of what exactly he was. Arthur asked this and Jamie didn’t hesitate to answer.

"Over a billion years ago, a Crazy Bitch—I mean, Witch, thought it was a good idea to infuse the Vampire Bloodline into an Ancient Breed Werewolf.

The result of that idea sits before you—THE Perfect Hybrid."

As Jamie said this, he displayed a concise version of his Status board before them. There were a few question marks here and there, but this was expected given the power gap between both sides.

"You’ve got an infinity sign too?"

The infinity symbol on his Health stat was what caught Evan’s attention first and hearing this, Jamie nodded a response.

"Yeah. It’s a Cosmic Being thing.

Theoretically, our bodies are immortal; but that only applies when we aren’t up against other Cosmic Beings and those with Destruction/Erasure powers."

Evan had also seen an infinity symbol on Arthur’s status board, though his had a ’½’ in front of it.

’It doesn’t make much sense when I think about it. I mean, half of Infinity is still Infinity...’

Such a thought crossed his mind as he turned his gaze to the other parts of the Status board. Jamie’s age being ’3,054?’ was most likely because this body before them had only existed for that amount of time.

His Deity Level was Undefined, meaning he had exceeded the limit of power for that Realm—all in a day’s work for a Singularity.

The Tier 8 Gravity affinity showed he was more than capable of helping Arthur with his dormant Pseudo-Origin core issue, and that was what they quickly got to.

"First, I need to use my Authority on you.

I can ’see’ you have a dormant mutated core, but I can’t tell what’s causing it without using my Authority on you."

"..."

Jamie’s words made Arthur go silent as he considered the Pros and Cons of letting another being use their Authority to check his soul.

"Well, not like it’d matter with your power level."

If Jamie truly had any nefarious intentions, then the man didn’t need to go through such a roundabout method to get to him so he just switched the Steller Guard to its ’active’ state and gave the okay.

The moment Jamie raised his hand, however, Lostvayne materialized and shot towards him, stopping only when its tip was pretty much piercing Jamie’s neck.

"Oh wow, someone’s overprotective."

The Rule Breaker didn’t give any reaction and just remained poised at his neck, the runes on its blade lit up with a dull silver glow.

Not minding this, the man activated his High-Rank Gravity Authority, and after a quick scan, he arrived at the same conclusion Arthur had earlier.

"That negative energy of yours..."

"Anti-Divinity?"

"Yes, that. It’s so deeply entrenched into your core that I could mistake it for an Anti-Divinity Origin Core instead. That’s what’s mutating it."

Arthur already knew this. He’d figured this much after a little thinking, but unlike him, Jamie also had a solution.

"The Anti-Divinity and your Pseudo-Origin Core are tangled up like threads, but the good news is that it hasn’t been that way for long so ’untangling’ them would be simple.

It’s as if the core is in a state of flux, unsure of whether to follow the path of gravity or be consumed by the anti-divinity."
