Chapter 384: Random gods A, B, and C.

He had left the first two gods to Stelan, and from the energy waves he could sense from behind him, the three of them were really going at it.

With those two out of the way, Arthur was now left to deal with the other three, two gods and one goddess.

The goddess was an Intermediate while the two gods were Superior Sovereigns; which meant that with his Authority, they had now reduced to the level of a Superior Legendary and two Inferior Sovereigns respectively.

"Alright, you are goddess A, god B, and god C. A, B and C for short.

And that’s the order in which you three would die."

As soon as Arthur made this declaration, he used time acceleration on himself and dashed towards the goddess at full speed.

"?!"

The goddess was shocked at the sudden burst of speed, her reflexes not being fast enough to keep up with his movements.

By the time she could fully react, Arthur’s sword was already less than half a metre away from her neck.

**CLANGG!!

B interfered at the last moment, using a flaming spear to block the boy’s slash, however, in that moment, he realised that a contest of strength would end with Arthur’s victory, and as such, he quickly angled his spear to parry the attack instead.

This gave the goddess enough time to back away, before going around Arthur to attack him from behind with her sword.

But as if he had eyes on the back of his head, Arthur stretched his left hand out and grabbed onto her wrist before she could complete her overhead slash.

He then pulled her body over his shoulder and slammed her onto the spear-wielding flame god, bashing his body towards the ground with this.

Still holding onto her hand, he swung her body like a weapon and used it to block the earthen spears that pierced through the air to hit him from the left.

Finally, he let go of her after using her as a shield, but in that same instant, he spun his body around multiple times and delivered a high kick straight to the side of her head, sending her body crashing down to the ground.

**BOOMM!!!

The force of her landing created a small crater in the ground, squashing the bodies of some unfortunate soldiers whilst also releasing shockwaves that sent some others flying.

She coughed up a bit of golden blood, while also being drenched in the blood and organ fragments of the soldiers she had squashed to bits.

In her dizzy vision, she saw something heading towards her and forced her body to roll out of the way, avoiding the eradication torrent that Arthur had launched.

Getting up to one knee, she pressed her hands to her temple while trying to find her weapon. However, she quickly gave up on doing that and crafted one from her divinity, raising it to block Arthur’s overhead slash.

The ground beneath her feet could barely withstand the force of the collision between the two weapons, and neither could her hastily made divinity construct.

It only succeeded In stopping Lostvayne for a second, before being sliced through like butter in the very next.

All her instincts screamed at her to not let that sword touch her body even for a second, and she obeyed said instincts.

The ground cracked open and long tendrils of wood erupted from within, wrapping around the blade and diverting its trajectory towards the ground.

Simultaneously, some of the wooden tendrils wrapped around her torso and pulled her away from the area, a split second before Arthur used Localized Gravitation.

The goddess dismissed the divinity sword and redirected the energy into ambient law manipulation, drawing upon the energy of the law of lightning as she slammed her palms together.

At this same moment, the third god whom Arthur dubbed ’C’, joined the fray, carrying along a giant cone-shaped boulder which was spinning rapidly.

He tossed the projectile towards Arthur, only to have it sliced in two with a single extinction slash. The earthen law energy within it was expelled and it was reduced to a chunk of rocks that crashed onto the ground.

Arthur drew upon gravity’s power and attempted to attract the rocks towards himself, however, he changed his target at the last moment and instead attracted C’s body.

He swung Lostvayne forward, releasing a downward arcing aura slash that drew a beautiful diagonal line of gold blood on the god’s body.

But despite the pain the god felt, he stretched out his hand and forced his magic power out, creating a three-ringed magic circle in front of Arthur’s face.

"Surging Waves!"

The point-blank water magic sent a flood of water surging forward, crashing into him and knocking him down to the ground.

The ground beneath his feet suddenly turned mushy, even more so than it should have due to the water, and this semi-solid state made it very easy for Arthur’s feet to sink into it.

It was at this time that the goddess finished her chant, pointing her palms in Arthur’s direction and manifesting a massive five-ringed magic circle above his head.

"Lightning Magic: Arcane Bolt of Severance!"

Though the spell’s base was Tier 3, she used her law manipulation to bump it up by two tiers, and this meant an exponential increase in power.

Coupled with the fact that Arthur’s body was currently wet, the end result would be devastating—

"Temporal Stop."

—IF it made it to its target, that is.

The energy of the law of time enveloped the spell circle, as well as the gigantic spear of lightning that was halfway out of it, quickly suspending the flow of time in the area around it.

Arthur turned his hand anti-clockwise, and the time in that area was reversed to just a second before the spell circle came into existence.

This didn’t mean that the energy that the goddess had expended to create it returned to her though.

Cosmic energy wrapped around Arthur’s body and teleported him right behind the goddess, his sword raised high and engulfed with his silver aura.

"Sword of Victory."

He calmly voiced out the technique’s name as he swung the blade downwards, with the goddess barely having enough time to create a cocoon of wood to protect herself.

Luckily, B intervened once more, sending five flaming spears in that hit Arthur’s sword and altered his trajectory at the last moment, making the attack hit the ground beside the goddess.

Naturally, the explosion that occurred still sent her body flying and left her with wounds, but she was in a much better state than she would have been if the attack had hit her directly.

"This is the second time."

Arthur spoke with a light frown as he turned towards B’s direction, seeing the god holding up two orbs of elemental law energy.

One was earth law, and the other was that of fire.

The god mixed the two of them together, quickly creating a ball of molten earth which he condensed to the absolute limit with his divinity.

He then released a deadly beam of molten earth, blitzing towards Arthur at supersonic speed while the goddess created tendrils of wood to hold down the boy’s legs.

At the same time, she retrieved her sword and released over a dozen slashes of lightning in one breath. With the speed of the slashes, they were going to reach Arthur at the same time the molten earth beam was, with her aim being the synergy between the flame and lightning law energy.

’However, this Demon boy has time magic!

He might stop them in time or even reverse them...in that case, I need to prepare a follow u-?’

Her thoughts were cut short when she saw the two attacks reach Arthur without obstruction. Lightning and flames came in contact with one another and generated a massive explosion that shook the entirety of the inner city, causing hellhounds and divine humans to lose their footing and fall to the ground.

Unfortunately, that short moment that she stopped channelling her energy proved near-fatal.

"Behind you!"

"?!!"

C’s voice rang out, but It was too late.

The goddess turned around while unleashing an array of wooden spears up from the ground in all directions, but Arthur who had teleported behind her, weaved through spears erupting into the air with ease.

She flicked her fingers and redirected the projectiles to rain back down on the ground, however, Arthur’s temporal energy slowed their descent.
