Chapter 335: Null

[They did try their bests, but then again, it was an unwinnable fight from the start.

But it was not all bad as they were able to get stronger a lot through this.

Right now, unless they are faced with irregular existences like singularities, it’d be hard to find any Epic Realm existence capable of defeating them one on one.]

Undine who watched this whole scene play out spoke as she transformed back into her full appearance.

Her lustrous mane of long, curly hair cascaded down her back, its strands resembling the undulating waves of the sea.

She dusted her flowing white gown which was adorned with numerous pearls of iridescent beauty, before raising her hand in the direction Kulir had flown towards.

Her sea blue eyes glowed as she locked onto his figure, about to exert dominance on the space around him, only for the light of remembrance to flash through her eyes at that moment.

[Ah, that’s right.

This isn’t how it’s supposed to end. I’m not the one who’s meant to take action.]

With those words, she teleported back to the capital and took a seat atop the only tower left standing from the castle building, a perfect vantage point to watch the show.

It didn’t take Kulir too long to arrive, especially with him amplifying his speed via wind-based acceleration spells.

With a dark aura enveloping him, he ’materialized’ before the tens of thousands of humans and the other Benevolent gods in the capital city, before tossing the barely conscious bodies of the quartet of Alien demigods and the god of Light he had in his grasp.

Seeing the defeated forms of the five, gasps of disbelief and horror rippled through the crowd as they beheld their defeated champions who had challenged the god of Darkness.

The impact of their fall resonated with the weight of their failure, echoing in the hearts of those who had placed their hopes in their hands.

Silence settled over the onlookers as they stared, their bated breaths transformed into breaths of despair.

Even the other Benevolent gods, who had watched the battle unfold with anticipation, were taken aback by the Malevolent god’s display of dominance.

The realization of his victory instilled a sense of dread and uncertainty among the, for if the strongest among them could be brought to their knees, what hope remained for the rest of their forces?

At this moment, Layla and the rest tried to get to their feet, but this was barely possible with the sheer amount of broken bones they all had, and their lack of energy to fuel their regeneration meant they would stay broken for a while longer.

Though they had healing potions with them, they clearly could not use those while being carried by Kulir at supersonic speed, so this was the only chance they had for that.

It was only when Kulir had glanced in the direction of the Benevolent gods that Layla and Esna who had managed to regain full consciousness made attempts to do this.

However, Kulir noticed these little movements of theirs and turned his attention back to them, conjuring a massive sword of darkness which he raised to the sky in preparation to unleash a lethal strike.

Suddenly—

"?!"

An unsettling presence descended upon the area, shocking Kulir to the core as the ambient essence of the law of fate sent out warnings.

The universal law energy that constituted his sword of darkness was forcefully dissipated and he found that he could not exert control over ambient law energies anymore, not just him, none of the gods of Gade present could.

Esna had been able to prevent him from breaking through and reduced his power by around 10-13%, taking him down by half a stage.

But this...this didn’t bring him down by merely half a stage.

He suddenly lost control and fell down towards the ground, barely managing to stabilise himself a metre away from the earth, however, his eyes widened in shock as he noticed something else that also fell.

His existence realm dropped directly to the bottom of the Inferior Stage of the Legendary realm, and was threatening to go even lower!

All the gods of Gade, both Benevolent and Malevolent felt existential fear as waves of negative energy permeated through the surrounding atmosphere.

It was then, that a calm youthful voice rang out.

¬Bounded Field: Hall of Fractured Time. ¬

The energies of the universal laws of space and time spread out into the area, creating a network of energy that enveloped everything within a kilometre radius in resplendent light.

A shimmering mystic boundary line emerged, separating those outside this radius from those within, from which a translucent dome of energy materialized.

By this time, all the gods besides the Malevolent god of darkness were already on their knees, barely able to breathe under the pressure.

The once solid ground transformed into a sandy expanse that stretched across the entire area, with shimmering particles reminiscent of stardust dancing through the air.

The appearance of this dome shocked even Undine as the Great Spirit had clearly not foreseen this when she predicted the outcome of this entire scenario with the law of Fate weeks ago.

For Kulir, the ambient energy of the law of fate now finally revealed to him, that the unknown threat he had been sensing all this while was now right in front of him. 𝚏𝕣𝕖𝚎𝚠𝚎𝚋𝚗𝐨𝐯𝕖𝕝.𝕔𝐨𝕞

The voice rang out once more, entering the ears of both those within the boundary and those outside of it.

¬Everything began from Null. ¬

Weirdly enough, they could all hear the footsteps that rang out along with the voice, as if the person was not walking on the now sandy floor.

¬And everything would eventually return to Null. ¬

It was at this moment that those within the boundary field finally caught sight of the origin of this voice.

A young teenage boy with a head of short silver hair, styled and slicked back.

He wore a simple black long-sleeved turtleneck shirt and similar coloured jeans, under a short-sleeved grey jacket, all bottomed out with black trainers.

Dragged on the floor behind him, was the lifeless corpse of the Malevolent god of wood who had fled from battle earlier in the day.

¬My Annihilation simply accelerates this natural process. ¬

Concluding his little declaration, he rose his right arm and stretched it out in the direction of the Malevolent god of Darkness, Kulir, whose entire body had been frozen still in time.

Purple circuit lines flashed across his outstretched arm as his lips parted to say one word.

¬Begone. ¬
