Chapter 266: Star Fall
|Rule Breaker: Seven Shields of Consecration. |
Seven translucent oval shields of various colours manifested around Lucifer at the last moment, blocking the attacks from the seven weapons of the Grand Supremes.
The void trembled from the clash of Rule Breakers, with the eyes of a few Grand Supremes widening in shock as their authorities of knowledge identified the Rule Breaker Lucifer had just used.
Without hesitation, they all activated their greatest defensive abilities, barely making it in time for their attacks to be reflected back to them.... seven-fold.
Space ruptured and chaos spread, universal laws went haywire and rays of destructive light filled the entire area.
One could only thank the stars that these beings were not fighting within the bounds of a multiverse, otherwise, it would have been nigh impossible to know how many septillions of innocent beings would have perished as a result of this.
The ambient cosmic energy of the cosmos churned wildly as if in response to the force that was spreading out for dozens of parsecs, but even that could not prevent what happened next.
***BZZZZZZZZZT...BOOOOOOM!
A glitching sound rang out, followed by multiple apocalyptic impacts that echoed as the very fabric of reality was torn asunder, leaving blank patches of nothingness in its wake
In the middle of these patches that spatial storms could not even form within, was the figure of Devil King Lucifer surrounded by seven translucent shields.
Further off around him, were the ravaged bodies of the Grand Supremes, with some of them on their last ’breaths’, while a few had perished completely.
The ambient cosmic energies swelled in concentration as the rupturing spaces slowly stopped, before beginning to recede, with the blank patches being slowly being covered by ’existence’.
Lucifer then turned towards the direction of the remaining Grand Supremes who had instantly blitzed out and taken distances of billions of light years when they noticed him pulling out the rule breaker shields.
He held up a hand in their direction, locking onto the auras that approached while crossing dozens of lightyears per second.

’That’s the last one.’
Lucifer thought to himself as he placed the last rule breaker back into his expansive space, yawning lightly as he was fairly tired after dealing with the remaining assailants.
Their corpses now floated around him, with various colours of blood still spilling out of their bodies as the ones who weren’t killed by his 50% final calamity, had a taste of the rule breakers under Lucifer’s command.
He took a look at what was left of the last patch of ’nothingness’ and watched it close up slowly, only to suddenly notice something strange about the corpses around him.
Time slowed down to a crawl as three magic circles appeared around one of his eyes, twisting and turning in opposing directions as he studied the nearest corpse and understood what was happening.
’So even in death, they planned to take me with them, huh?
A timed spell, one that would only activate after I had killed every last one of them, detonating their energy cores with the essence of proliferation amplifying the blasts.’
|It would have definitely taken me down a notch, but it’s all pointless if I simply teleported away before the simultaneous explosion happened. |
The flow of time returned to normal after his words, with the Devil King shaking his head silently before activating an Aspectual authority of space.
His body was slowly wrapped in the essence of space as within the second, he was already halfway through phasing out of this space and into another.
It was then, that an unknown voice suddenly resounded across the area.

**CRACK!! BOOOOMMM!!!!
The spatial laws in the area suddenly went out of sync and Lucifer’s Aspectual authority malfunctioned.
His teleportation was forcefully cancelled by a third party and the open spatial channel closed in on his body.

Lucifer screamed in pain as the dense concentrated cosmic energy threatened to rip his body in two, but he pulled himself out of the spatial channel that was about to slice him in half fast enough to prevent that gruesome scene from occurring.
Unfortunately, he could not pull himself to the destination space, as an unstable cosmic spatial storm bloomed right in front of the destination point, destroying the ’space’ in that area.
’This level of instantaneous cosmic spatial manipulation I could not detect!! It can only be ’HIM’!!’
Even as the pain assaulted his entire being, Lucifer’s brain still worked to identify the identity of the one being he suspected to be able to do this, all while he coughed out blood and a few pieces of his internal organs, along with fragments of one of his energy cores that were destroyed just then.
He gritted his bloodstained teeth in anger, before screaming out the name of the title who was responsible.

As if affirming Lucifer’s words, the ambient cosmic energies twisted and thrummed, with the very fabric of reality twisting out of sync and preventing Lucifer’s next set of actions to escape the area.
The space-time continuum was manipulated and ’locked’, so as Lucifer was currently within it, he could not leave.
And in the nanoseconds it took all these to happen, the simultaneous explosion that Lucifer had tried to escape from finally happened.

The explosion turned silent as waves of cosmic energy shattered the space where Lucifer was, with the Devil King’s defenceless body being wrecked by the combined detonation and proliferation of the energy within the cores of Grand Supremes like him.
And it has to be taken into notice that he had not recovered from the injuries he had sustained when battling against said Grand Supremes.
The space that had just healed was torn asunder once more by the explosion, creating a small blank white patch of ’nothing’.
All of a sudden, the explosion ceased, and then as if being rewound, it receded to the origin point and disappeared completely.
The damaged fabric of reality also returned to a state as if it was never damaged in the first place, leaving the lone ravaged body of the Devil King floating in the void.
There was silence for what seemed like a really long time, when in reality it was only half a minute, before a voice rang out in question.
