Chapter 265: Morningstar’s Last Shine V

|Apologies Lucifer, but you leave us no choice. |
The woman replied to Lucifer’s words, her true voice being accompanied by a wave of energy that soothed the souls of those who heard it and healed their minor injuries.
They stared at each other in silence, golden eyes locked with dark red irises for a few seconds, until the woman finally broke the silence with her words.

Cosmic energy spread out across the area, followed by a golden light that burst out from her body and spread out for light years.

Lucifer noticed something mid-declaration and smiled wryly, cancelling his own domain deceleration as the dark red energy that had surrounded him receded into his body.
As for the reason why; it was simple.
The woman’s domain only covered her and Lucifer, her other ’comrades’ had been excluded from entering it.
When the Domain fully covered them both, they once again began another staring contest in silence, until the woman finally spoke, this time, her voice was not as indifferent as it was before.
"Lucifer..."
"..."
"...The ’Judge of the End’ is deceiving you...he’s in cahoots with the ’Aggressor of Creation’."
Her statement finally evoked a reaction from Lucifer, as the Devil King replied with furrowed brows.
"Cahoots? Do you even understand what you are saying?
The Eternals are the ones deceiving you. The very concepts they govern are chaotic in nature, what other determiner could you possibly need to know who’s in the ’right’ here?"
"The fact that they have been the ones who have been maintaining the Cosmos for Eons! If there was an incoming ’disaster’ like that, they’d know it!"
"Why are you so sure they would tell you if they knew? When the whole thing is their fault in the first place!"
"If there was something like that, it’d be the fault of the Aggressors. Preventing such a thing from happening is precisely the reason why the Eternals have been battling them for aeons!"
Lucifer snorted upon hearing her reply, shaking his head in disappointment before speaking.
"You really think that’s the reason, huh? You always were so gullible."
The woman’s brow twitched upon hearing Lucifer’s words but she held back her anger and asked.
"What would it take for me to convince you?"
"Bring me evidence to counter my beliefs...because I have seen with my own eyes, evidence of the impending disaster."
Lucifer’s words left the woman speechless as both of them knew that she definitely could not provide the evidence he had asked for.
She grit her teeth silently before taking a deep breath and raising her hand, generating a gigantic spear of light that silently hovered above her hands.
"This woman...are you provoking me?"
The Devil King frowned when he saw her actions, his eyes lighting up with a red glow right before she unleashed the huge spear of light towards him.
It shot through space and reached him almost instantly, colliding with the fist he threw out and resulting in a huge space-quaking explosion.
However, before she generated another spear of light, Lucifer appeared in front of her and grabbed her neck, his wrist covered in a red ring of annihilatory essence.
"I made a promise to your sister...one that involved you not dying and especially not at my hands.
And I intend to keep that promise until the very end.
So do not test me again."
Lucifer spoke with furrowed brows and a tinge of annoyance in his tone; however, the woman only revealed a strained smile as she replied.
"...if only your son knew how much you truly cared."
Her words evoked a reaction from Lucifer, causing a look of surprise to momentarily flash through his eyes as he asked.
"You...! You went back to Hell?!"
"I at least wanted to visit my sister’s grave, as well as see the son she left behind."
"You stupid! After all the pains I went through to hide Hell’s new location! What if you were followed?!"
Lucifer unconsciously tightened his grip on her neck, and the ring of annihalotory essence trembled and threatened to cover his palm but he held in his annoyance and only just berated her verbally.
|Aspect of Space|
Upon Lucifer’s command, the space inside the domain ruptured and a spatial rift twice his height appeared on his right side.
Ignoring the look of surprise that appeared on her face as well as her attempts at struggling, he gave one more command.
|Dimension Fifth|
The space inside the spatial rift twisted, turned, and changed colours rapidly, before finally stabilizing a few seconds later.
The Devil king then ignored all her words as he flung her into the spatial rift and closed it up, a second before her domain crumbled to pieces of light due to her absence from the dimension.
All of Lucifer’s other assailants could be seen looking at the Devil King in shock when he emerged on his own, with his right hand covered in the essence of Null.

A wry smile appeared on Lucifer’s face as he held up his empty palm and blew into it.
|She has become one with the dust of space, and the rest of you would be joining her soon. |
His reply marked the beginning of the end of this battle that had gone on for far too long. The Grand Supremes pulled out their weapons and charged at him, activating various authorities and aspects.
However, Lucifer only raised an eyebrow in question when he noticed the nature of the weapon in the hands of the people charging at him.

The Devil King laughed as if he had just heard the greatest joke ever, an action that only served to further enrage the remaining Quasi-Supremes who were nearby.
Without hesitation, they unleashed their attacks and charged towards the devil who casually sliced apart the fate constructs that came at him with a blade of light and opened a wormhole that swallowed up the thousands of swords that shot towards him.
