Chapter 239: Call of the Progenitor
Devildom Royal Castle
Planet Aeturn
Dorcaster Star system
Burning Realms Galaxy Cluster
First of October
Year 717 of the 50th General Calendar.
While Arthur was beginning his law comprehension speed run, Creusery and Inglis were watching Diablo with slack jaws as he casually summoned an artifact that was sought after by many powerhouses of the hell universe, including themselves.
"How long have you had this?!"
Inglis was the first to recover from her shock as she screamed out towards Diablo, nevertheless, the devil king calmly replied to her.
"A few thousand years, not too long."
"If a few thousand years isn’t too long, then honestly I don’t know what is."
Creusery who was barely over ten thousand years old retorted while shaking his head. The fact that his father had been with the very same Akashic records he had been after for the past few millennia was still shocking to him.
He studied the appearance of the book that was said to control all information about the hell universe ever since its birth.
It was a titleless black book with black pages.
On the back cover was a diagram of 45 circles arranged in a pyramid shape.
It was the exact same arrangement as the galaxies in the nine thousand circles galaxy supercluster.
The circles on the cover of the book glowed as Diablo proceeded to ask the book a question.
"Where in the Varona Realm is the entity, Arthur Vaughn?"
The ambient energies in the room thrummed wildly as the pages of the book flipped until they reached a certain page before stopping.
[The entity -- @ꓤthꓵꓤ V@ughU, is currently in an isolated space created by the entity – Lucifer Morningstar.
The entrance to the isolated space is at Longitude 83°, Latitude 69° of the planet Cecriri in star system 73964.]
The familiar emotionless robotic voice replied to his question, the akashic record displaying its prowess as it gave them Arthur’s location instantly.
"Well, while it’s good to know where he is, the problem is getting Leya there. She won’t rest until she confirms that Arthur is fine herself."
Creusery voiced out the main problem that they still had as the trio turned to the sleeping mother who was beside them.
"True. We need to find this planet Cecriri and get Leya there, another problem, however, is how we are going to enter the isolated space.
Can you ask the Akashic record this?"
Inglis asked as she turned to Diablo while running her hand through her sleeping daughter’s hair. Diablo nodded and was about to ask the question but Creusery spoke up first.
"Wait, how about we just get her to go through the gate Arthur went through? There had to be something about it that picked only Arthur and tossed all his friends that went in with him elsewhere.
Perhaps, it might work if Leya does the same, she’s his mother, after all."
Diablo considered it before nodding in affirmation.
"It is worth trying, but I still have a few things to confirm before I can be sure."
He turned his gaze to the floating Akashic record as he began to ask it more questions, making sure that he knew everything before he allowed his daughter to go in through the gate.
◇ ◇ ◇
[Hmm? Another of Lucifer’s descendants? So, his son has grandkids now, huh? Might not hurt to pay a visit. I also wish to see you Belly.]
An amused voice rang out of a communication medallion in the drawing room of a mansion located south of the Devildom’s Royal Castle on Aeturn.
Beside the table where the communication medallion was resting, stood a tall man with short white hair, his face looked as if he was in his fifties, however, even multiplying that by five hundred would not be up to his true age.
He had visible wrinkles on his hollow face, which made him seem gentle in appearance, but his eyes were as sharp as an eagle’s.
In his hands was a folder that he flipped through slowly, his lips opening up as he replied to the being on the other end of the communication medallion’s connection.
"I do not think that would be a good idea. The Eternals have been making suspicious moves lately, would it not be wise to stay with the other members of the ’Primordials’ in the Origin Multiverse?
That is the best decision and you know it, don’t you?
Lady Quinn."
[Huh? You’re advising me again? Belly, do you perhaps wish to return to your position as my personal advisor? I’d welcome you with open arms.]
"Sadly, I have no intentions of returning, not until the day this universe’s core burns out and the universe is reduced to nothingness. Till then, this place shall be my home."
The man calmly replied as he thought about the days when he served the red-haired woman who was speaking to him through the medallion.
’It’s been hundreds of millions of years since then, huh?’
[If I had known that you already knew where your birth universe was when you proposed that deal to me, I would have not agreed to it.
The youngsters these days, are not as wise as you are. Going off to die foolishly against those white-winged bastards.
The last one who was barely fifty thousand saw it best to attack an entire universe of celestials on his own.
How foolish. Truly a waste of resources.]
The white-haired man she called ’Belly’ let out a small chuckle as he proceeded to pacify the woman who was most likely about to throw a ’tantrum’ while spitting out curses that could end entire generations.
’She probably still forgets she has cursed speech, huh?’
[Still, in the event that the Eternal-Aggressor War continues, it is impossible for we progenitors to be still as we would most likely get caught in the crossfire, those two would make sure of it]
The woman’s voice suddenly turned serious as she spoke of a war that would end the lives of quintillions of beings.
"In that case, perhaps I may consider temporarily returning to your side. Until then, I shall remain here."
The man picked up the medallion as he said his farewells, preparing to end the communication.
"I hope to speak to you again soon, Lady Progenitor Devil, Quinn Rhodes Gill."
[Only you still dare to call me by my full name and title Belly, the others say it would be disrespectful of them.
Like I give a shit!
Anyway, talk to you later.]
The connection was cut as the man dropped the medallion back on his table, turning around to the window behind him as he stared at the setting sun.
’It really has been a long time...’
Belly- Ancient Breed Devil and Grand Duke of Hell’s Devildom, Belphegor, thought to himself as he watched the sunset.
