Chapter 224: Devil King Vs Supreme Ruler I
"Lucifer, my previous request still stands. Please kill my ’father’.
Please kill, ’Roseborn Vladi I’."
Roseborn showed a small smile as he stared at his ’daughter’ with a smile on his face. Turning to Lucifer, he asked.
"Are you really going to listen to the words of a little girl?"
"That little girl sees me as more of a father than she does you, it’s a pity but I’m gonna have to oblige."
The moment Lucifer spoke, he released a burst of aura that shook the planet they were on down to its very core.
Seeing this, Roseborn only shrugged his shoulders as he let out a depreciating laugh. The old flugel scratched his light blue hair as he spoke.
"Youngsters these days are so aggressive. Oh well, I prefer things being that way after all."
The moment he was done speaking, his hand twitched. At first, Alexia did not understand what happened, however, when the shockwaves sent her flying out of the collapsing building, she finally did.
Roseborn punched Lucifer right in the face at a speed that Alexia could not even perceive and returned his hand back to its original position before her brain could even compute what happened.
Turning to Alexia, the old flugel supreme ruler spoke in his true voice.

Lucifer’s voice rang out as the devil king suddenly appeared behind Roseborn and sent a kick to the latter’s face.
To his surprise, Roseborn turned around and grabbed his leg before flinging him in the direction of a distant mountain range.
**BOOOOMMMMM!!
Roseborn then cracked his neck and kicked off the ground, shattering the earth underneath his feet as he blitzed towards the mountain where lucifer crashed into.
Midway, he sensed something wrong and raised an eyebrow before stopping his motion. He then ducked as a sonic speed multi-coloured slash cleaved through the air right where his head was milliseconds ago.
"Even if this vessel is old, it doesn’t change the fact that my soul is that of a sub-cosmic existence. Perceiving and manipulating cosmic energy is something I can also do."
As he spoke, he took a stance before coating his hand in cosmic energy and turning around while simultaneously punching forward.
His fist met Lucifer’s which was also coated in cosmic energy. The air trembled and the ground underneath their feet collapsed to reveal a sea of magma.
The two, however, did not pay any mind to this as they began to exchange blows at speeds that even the inferior stage deity realm Alexia’s eyes could not see.
There was the occasional flash of multi-coloured light along with the shockwaves that split the sea of magma into two but besides that, Alexia could not see anything else.
’...I can’t interfere, I should leave so I don’t become a liability.’
Alexia made that decision as she wrapped herself in the essence of the law of time to accelerate her movements and blitzed out of that planet’s atmosphere.
|Hmm? Didn’t I say to sit still?|
Roseborn noticed Alexia’s action and ignored lucifer’s incoming fist in favour of catching up to Alexia. He released a burst of energy to push lucifer backwards while also giving him a boost into the air.
However, before he could fly any further, his leg was grabbed by a flaming hand.
Despite his high resistance to both flames and pain, the heat and pain he felt from the hand holding his leg was nothing to scoff at.
The old Flugel’s face contorted a bit before the hand flung his entire body in a different direction.
The culprit; Lucifer, turned into a multi-coloured streak of light as he dashed towards the airborne Roseborn and grabbed the old Flugel’s neck before blitzing out of the planet’s atmosphere and into space.
He then flung the old flugel towards the next planet but Roseborn managed to regain his bearings and kill off the effect of the plant’s gravity on his body, allowing him to land gracefully on the floor.
**BOOMM!
He heard the sound of a sonic boom and looked up to see a multi-coloured streak of light pierce through the sky, towards the ground.
Right before it hit, all of its momenta suddenly dissipated and it came to a stop a few hundred meters above the ground.
The true identity of that beam of light, Lucifer, slowly descended to the ground with his hands crossed in front of him as he adjusted the long overcoat he had on his body.
’What’s the point?’
While the old Flugel was wondering if there was any point to Lucifer’s actions, the Devil King was taking in the scenery of the planet they were on.
They seemed to be on an ice continent, similar to the one that was on the south pole of a certain blue planet.
The size, however, was far from similar. While that one was over 14-million-kilometer square in area, this one was easily ten times that.
Mountains of various heights ranging from 5000 meters above sea level to 25000 meters surrounded the two rulers who just stood still and stared at each other.
" ’Roseborn Vladi I’, huh?."
Lucifer casually called out Roseborn’s full name and let out a light laugh before continuing.
"This is the last straw, are you going to keep using Alexia for your goals or would you let her go?
Your answer would decide your fate."
To Lucifer’s question, Roseborn gave the kind of look one would give a stupid person before replying.
"Why bother with the stupid trivialities? We both know the answer to that."
"Of course, I was just buying time for her to get away. From now on, I would show you-"

As Lucifer began speaking in his true voice, the laid-back aura around him disappeared. Roseborn felt his hairs stand on end as he narrowed his eyes.
The essence of the law of destiny flashed across his eyes as he kicked off the ground and dashed towards Lucifer who was standing in the distance.
The distance between them reduced to zero instantly as Roseborn threw out a punch with all his might. One Lucifer crossed his arms in an ’X’ to block.
**BOOOMMM!!!
Although he blocked the damage, the resultant force was enough to send him flying backwards.
Not letting up, Roseborn blitzed towards Lucifer in pursuit and sent out another punch, one lucifer blocked in a similar manner before breaking his block and sending a kick to Roseborn’s feet.
The old supreme ruler dodged to the side before throwing out his right hand to grab Lucifer, unfortunately, the devil king dodged faster than he expected and his hand only grabbed a fistful of air.
Regaining his balance easily, Roseborn continued his attempts to grab Lucifer while the devil king only dodged backwards with a smile on his face and his arms crossed in front of his chest.
The speeds at which the two moved resulted in clouds of snow being kicked up in the air. Causing avalanches on the various mountains they passed.
The duo paid no attention to this as Roseborn sent out another full-force punch that Lucifer tilted his head to the side to dodge before uncrossing his arms and sending a kick to Roseborn’s torso.
"Guh!"
Although the old supreme ruler was knocked back a few kilometres, he kicked off the ground once more and crossed the distance instantly sending another punch to Lucifer’s head.
"You’re not bad, huh? I’m finally starting to warm up."
Lucifer spoke as he shifted his head and used his hand to divert Roseborn’s fist. Roseborn sent out another punch that he also redirected into the air before grabbing his overcoat and tearing it off his body.
He then pulled his right hand back before sending out a punch that hit its target: Roseborn’s face, spot on.
Roseborn shook off the pain he felt and sent another threw his fist at Lucifer’s face, sadly, his attack was dodged as the devil king ducked instantly.
The next moment, Lucifer spun around and kicked Roseborn’s legs off the ground, before sending another whip-like kick to his torso, one that sent him flying into the distance.
He didn’t hesitate to give chase and the two rulers began exchanging blows mid-air, resulting in shockwaves strong enough to shatter the icy ground.
Roseborn punched at Lucifer’s head for the nth time today and the devil kind once again redirected his punch elsewhere before shooting off the ground into the air.
’What?!’
To his surprise, Roseborn suddenly appeared in front of him in mid-air and punched him back to the ground.
**BOOMM!!
Lucifer sot back into the air almost instantly and the two began another exchange of fists.
’He’s getting faster!’
Lucifer sent a fist towards Roseborn’s head but the Latter blocked it before countering with a punch of his own.
’That amount of force would have knocked him back before! He’s getting physically stronger too.’
