Chapter 223: Meeting Roseborn Vladi
"What is going on here?"
That day, Lucifer had only gone out shortly to get something that he left in another universe. As a cosmic being, Inter-universal teleportation was a walk in the park for him, so he opted to make a quick trip back to the last universe the duo was in.
Due to his increasing amount of enemies, Lucifer conquered other universes and used them as decoy ’Hell’ universes, to fool his enemies and keep them from getting to the real one.
He left Alexia in one of these decoy universes, only to come back and discover an unconscious Alexia surrounded by over a dozen inferior-stage monarch realm existences.
He identified them as the brothers of Alexia’s father, ones who reduced themselves to ’dogs’ who did the bidding of her grandfather, just to get the old Supreme Ruler’s favour.
Seeing them almost kill Alexia, someone he took as a disciple, enraged Lucifer to no limits.
[Authority of Destruction]
Lucifer activated his authority and took a stance before pulling his fist backward as it started glowing.
Seeing this, Alexia’s uncles realized that they had ’fucked up’ and tried to run, however, Lucifer did not let them go so easily.
[Dimensional Lock]
Space was sealed shut and no form of spatial travel could be utilized on that planet they were on.

Lucifer punched out in their direction with his glowing red fist and a bright red beam of light was fired from it.
The beam then split into twelve smaller beams, all of which, went on to pierce the hearts of the dozen flugels who were running for their lives.
The battle was over before it even began, as the light of destruction shredded their energy cores to pieces, before going on to shatter all the protective barriers around their souls and ending them instantly.
Lucifer then walked up to the injured Alexia and used the power of time to rewind her wounds before letting her rest.

A few hours later, Alexia awoke from her beauty sleep and was met with the figure of Lucifer sharpening his sword with another while having a frown on his face.
"What...happened?"
"Your ’uncles’ almost ended your life. That’s what."
Lucifer’s words reminded her of the events that led to her passing out, she was sure that she was going to die this time, but once again, Lucifer swooped in and saved her.
’I guess I owe him twice my life now.’
Alexia heaved a sigh as she tied her hair into a single bun, before asking Lucifer a question.
"I need your help."
"You finally asked."
"Huh?"
A look of surprise flashed across her face upon hearing his reply. Although she had never spoken about her true situation to him, she was sure that Lucifer already had a rough idea of the predicament she was going through.
To put it simply, Alexia Vladi’s father, was an ’idiot’ who never dared to oppose her grandfather. To the crown prince, all of his father’s words were law.
The reason he began attempting to marry off Alexia to some random men, was because of her grandfather.
She wasn’t sure what plans the old supreme ruler had for her, but she was sure that it wasn’t going to be any good for her.
As for her biological father who never even tried to be a ’father’ to her, and readily agreed to sell his daughter away on orders from his own father, she felt nothing towards him.
Nothing but disappointment.
However, she held a glimmer of hope in her heart, that the man was somehow being controlled by his father or there was some other reason he became a ’Yes Man’ to her grandfather.
As such, when she asked Lucifer for help, she only wanted him to do one thing.
"Please...Kill my grandfather. Kill Roseborn Vladi XIII."
Lucifer eyed the girl he had taken in as his disciple for over ten thousand years and heaved a sigh before asking.
"You don’t really want him dead, do you?"
"H-huh? I’m telling you to kill him so, of course, I w-"
"You don’t expect me to believe you when you’re like that, do you?"
Alexia looked down at where lucifer was pointing and saw that her fists were tightly clenched. Her nails had even begun to dig into her palms and blood was dripping to the floor.
The devil king laughed lightly before rubbing her head and telling her his suggestion.
"How about we go over to ’Vladicur’ and talk this out with your grandfather?"
Alexia nodded meekly and the two of them went over to her home universe and the capital of the Vladi universal supercluster, Vladicur.
The end result of the talk with her grandfather was far from Alexia’s expectations.
The young girl was finally forced to accept the reality a secret, one that no one else knew about.

Lucifer and Alexia tried to come to a compromise with her grandfather, concerning her situation, but the old supreme ruler did not agree to meet them with that in mind.
They met on neutral ground, in a universe that was neither under Lucifer’s nor Roseborn’s control.
Lucifer never held any hope from the start but he still came over with Alexia for her sake and tried to act like he wanted to make peace.
Roseborn, however, didn’t even try.
"This is pointless."
"Huh?"
Roseborn ran a hand through his grey hair and asked Alexia with narrowed eyes.
"Foolish girl, I have no use for you. What I want, is the great-grandchild you are going to give me, most preferably, a son."
Alexia stared at Roseborn dumbfoundedly while Lucifer watched in silence. The old supreme ruler clicked his tongue in annoyance when he saw his ’granddaughter’s’ dumbfounded expression,
"Let me spell it out for you my foolish ’daughter’, the only use I have for you, is you being the mother of my next vessel.
Simple as that.
You have more potential than ’him’, as such, your child would have more potential than you. Especially if the father is someone I have personally selected.
Someone whose talent is on par with yours, and what’s more, he’s a candidate.
Although you are only a halfling and he is a god, your child should still retain the major features of a flugel so it’s all good."
Roseborn relaxed on his seat and yawned leaving Alexia even more dumbfounded than she originally was.
Lucifer, however, managed to glean a few things from Roseborn’s statement.
’He stinks of that law like he’s not even trying to hide it anymore. And his phrasing, he called her-’
Lucifer’s thoughts were cut short when Roseborn’s aura suddenly flared up, startling Alexia. He ignored this and looked at lucifer before speaking.
"To say I am grateful for taking care of my foolish ’grand daughter’, would be an understatement.
However, this issue is the point where I believe you should draw the line. I would really like it if you did not interfere, Devil King of Hell.
This is my family matter, and I would very much like it to be kept that way."
He stood up slowly from his seat and he turned his gaze to Alexia to speak. He could see it in her eyes, Alexia had already long understood the meaning of his words.
This was why he favoured this foolish granddaughter of his, it was a pity his ability did not work with women, if not he might have borne the psychological resistance and used it on her already.
"People would do anything to gain power and maintain that power alongside the influence that came with it.
Unfortunately for you, Alexia, you happen to be a victim of someone’s attempts to remain in power.
That someone is none other than myself."
He rose his hand and channelled his energy as it began glowing green. He then stretched it towards Alexia’s head and attempted to grab it, however, Lucifer’s hand grabbed his before he could.
"Devil King of Hell, what is the meaning of this?"
"I should be asking you the same thing, Roseborn Vladi. Just what do you intend to do with Alexia?"
"Haven’t I already stated my intentions? Besides, I believe I told you not to interfere in this. This is a matter between me and my ’daughter’."
"And since when was I obligated to follow your words?"
The two men glared at each other with glowing eyes as the tension in the room increased.
The ambient essences of various laws thrummed wildly in response to their increasing auras as they looked into each other’s eyes in silence.
"Although you may be reputed to be the most powerful Devil King or the most dangerous candidate of destruction ever, do remember that you are only a young brat who hasn’t even lived up to half of my lifetime."
Roseborn shook off Lucifer’s arm as he continued speaking.
"For a hundred million years, I have kept a tight lid on this, but perhaps it was inevitable for you to figure this out since I got a bit too impatient."
Roseborn’s words only served to confirm both Lucifer’s and Alexia’s suspicions. The blue-haired half-Flugel stared at her ’grandfather’, or rather, her ’father’, as she spoke through gritted teeth.
"Lucifer, my previous request still stands. Please kill my ’father’.
Please kill, ’Roseborn Vladi I’."
