Chapter 170: Chapter 119: Reconnaissance Squad (2)

A Jackal Wolfman running below suddenly stopped, looking around in confusion. He thought he’d faintly heard voices moments before. After a quick scan revealed nothing unusual, he heard his companions urging him on and hurried to catch up.

’Flying is so much faster than running!’

The two Wandering Souls who had slipped away early, leaving their comrades behind to continue surveillance and seize the initiative, were filled with emotion. ’Before we became Wandering Souls, our Speed probably couldn’t even match the Jackal Wolfmen. A glint flashed in Li Ziyu’s eyes. He wasn’t too concerned about the scouting Jackal Wolfmen, but he was thrilled by the Wandering Souls’ detection range. Five kilometers was enough to give him advance warning of many things; the Skeleton Undeads’ scouting range was nowhere near that far.
