Chapter 534: Chapter 534: Donation-2

"And honestly speaking..."

Her eyes softened slightly.

"It’s perfectly fine to indulge them once in a while."

Hearing those words, Conrad suddenly became unusually quiet.

For some reason... Lana’s explanation gave him a strange kind of enlightenment.

Meanwhile, Lana continued calmly.

"These children already eat vegetables frequently."

She pointed toward several baskets placed nearby.

"But opportunities to eat junk food are extremely rare for them."

Her golden eyes reflected the children’s cheerful smiles.

"So to them, healthy vegetables aren’t something special anymore."

Only after noticing Conrad finally understanding her point did Lana stop explaining further.

Soon afterward, the day gradually came to an end.

The orphanage children immediately gathered around Lana unwillingly.

"Sister Lana, come back soon!"

Several children clung to her sleeves sadly while speaking.

Lana could only smile helplessly before nodding softly.

"Alright."

Honestly speaking, most of the time she simply communicated with them through video calls because she rarely had enough free time to visit personally.

Usually, she only sent gifts, money, and educational supplies regularly.

However... now that Conrad had personally visited this place once, Lana already knew something for certain.

Her brother would absolutely contribute heavily from now onward.

And just as expected, the moment Conrad returned to the car after personally distributing gifts to several children, he suddenly chuckled softly.

"I’ll sponsor all of them."

The moment those words entered her ears, Lana’s lips immediately curled upward slightly.

However, she quickly suppressed her satisfied smile before deliberately looking outside the car window calmly.

"Oh?"

Her tone sounded teasing.

"You’re truly a charitable person."

Conrad could not help laughing softly.

"If you wanted me to donate money, you could’ve simply asked directly."

He leaned back against the seat helplessly.

"Was it really necessary to drag me through such an elaborate experience first?"

Hearing those words, Lana finally turned toward him properly.

"If I directly asked you for money..."

Her voice became softer.

"Then you would only be donating meaningless paper currency."

Conrad silently looked at her.

"But once you personally understand who you’re helping..."

She glanced back toward the orphanage slowly fading behind them.

"And once you understand why you’re helping them..."

Her eyes softened slightly.

"Then what you give won’t merely be money anymore."

The atmosphere inside the car suddenly became quiet.

"It becomes something much more valuable."

Conrad subconsciously asked, "What?"

Lana smiled faintly. "Emotions."

The moment she said that, deep silence filled the car.

For the very first time... Conrad truly realized something.

His younger sister was an extremely rational and intelligent person beneath her playful personality.

After taking a deep breath quietly, he finally said sincerely, "You’re very thoughtful."

Hearing his compliment, Lana immediately chuckled playfully.

"I’ll take that as praise."

Conrad looked toward her quietly before replying seriously.

"It was absolutely intended as praise."

Soon afterward, once Lana finally returned to the mansion, she immediately rushed toward Lucian’s room excitedly.

Meanwhile, Lucian himself had already heard the sound of the car horn outside long ago.

The moment he realized Lana returned, he instantly knew she would definitely come searching for him.

However... instead of rushing downstairs eagerly like usual, Lucian calmly remained inside his room.

Then slowly... he picked up his bathrobe.

After all, he naturally needed to ensure his girlfriend remained entertained.

Meanwhile, outside the room, Lana happily pushed open the door without much thought.

The moment she entered... she froze completely.

Warm steam still lingered faintly inside the room while soft yellow lights illuminated Lucian’s broad shoulders beautifully.

His damp black hair slightly clung against his neck while his loosely worn bathrobe exposed part of his chest carelessly.

The sight alone was devastatingly attractive.

Lana immediately gasped dramatically.

"Oh my God..."

Her face instantly turned bright red.

"I never knew my boyfriend looked this handsome from behind." 𝚏𝗿𝗲𝐞𝐰𝚎𝕓𝐧𝚘𝘃𝗲𝐥.𝐜𝚘𝕞

Hearing those shameless words, Lucian slowly turned around calmly.

Then he deliberately raised an eyebrow slightly.

"Do you want to see the front too?"

The moment those words entered her ears, Lana’s face became even redder.

However, before she could respond, the bedroom door suddenly opened again.

Conrad stepped inside.

The moment he saw the scene before him... his expression immediately darkened completely.

Especially after noticing Lana’s flushed face and Lucian’s half-open bathrobe.

For several seconds, complete silence filled the room.

Then suddenly...

"LUCIAN, YOU BASTARD!"

Conrad instantly exploded.

Without hesitation, he directly rushed toward Lucian furiously.

However, before he could reach him properly, Lana immediately jumped between them in panic.

"You’re not allowed to hit my boyfriend!"

The moment those words entered Conrad’s ears, his heart immediately cracked slightly.

Internally, he felt overwhelming frustration.

’This shameless bastard appeared during my sister’s most vulnerable moment and completely stole her away.’

Meanwhile, behind Lana, Lucian calmly wrapped one arm around her waist naturally before looking toward Conrad innocently.

"What?"

His expression looked completely harmless. "You want to beat me?"

Then he smiled faintly. "Go ahead. I can endure one or two punches."

Although his tone sounded calm, the smugness hidden deep inside his eyes was impossible to miss.

Conrad nearly gritted his teeth apart. "We need to talk."

The moment he said those words, Lana instantly frowned again. "No."

She looked extremely wary. "You’re not allowed to beat Lucian."

Seeing her so protective immediately softened Conrad’s expression slightly despite his anger. "I won’t hit him."

He sighed heavily. "I swear. I only want to talk."

However, Lana still looked suspicious. "You’re not allowed to insult him either."

Conrad instantly fell silent.

Meanwhile, Lucian almost laughed aloud from satisfaction.

Unable to resist anymore, he leaned down slightly and kissed Lana’s cheek softly.

"I’m truly touched."

His lips curved upward. "My girlfriend cares about me this much."

Then he calmly looked toward Conrad. "Don’t worry."

His voice sounded lazy and confident. "He can’t do anything to me."

With that, Lucian casually walked outside while Conrad followed behind coldly.

Meanwhile, Lana remained standing near the doorway anxiously.

Once both men finally reached a private corridor area, Conrad immediately raised his fist threateningly.

However, Lucian merely looked at him nonchalantly. "You can hit me if you want."

His tone remained calm. "But afterward, Lana will definitely become angry with you."
