Chapter 77: Attack at once
Kale sighed and pushed those matters to the back of his mind. He looked at all of them carefully and said, "Tomorrow, more Beast Hordes will attack, and I will be joining the defensive army. So, you guys can join with me if you want to gather enough experience with this chance."
"Or you can stay if you prefer, because there is a chance that anyone could die amid those brutal clashes, because there will be more Beast Hordes and more dangerous species among them as well," he added in a solemn tone.
Neither Fabio nor Paula showed much reaction to his words, as if they had already expected something like that; it seemed those two were indeed much more experienced and courageous than the rest, who had slight frowns on their faces.
Fabio turned around and faced his teammates and said resolutely, "I think all of us should join in the battle even if there is a chance that we die. After all, with these creatures who have such potential, if they are not trained well and do not have enough experience, the Beasts would never grow to their full potential."
"Neither can we ever hope to reach higher ranks as Tamers," suggested Fabio calmly.
After a few more minutes of back and forth discussion, they, all eight of them, finally agreed to join in with Kale.
The Cursed Tamer nodded as he said, "Don’t worry, you guys will fight right beside me, and I don’t think we would be in too much danger to begin with, but still anything can happen, so it’s better to exercise utmost caution."
Kale added after a short pause, "So, we are going to train for a while; let me see how strong you guys are."
"Attack all at once, you and your beasts all together," he ordered, while Neo slowly stepped forward, staring coldly ahead with all three of its heads held high in an arrogant posture.
Kale stepped back to create some space and reiterated, "Remember, try your absolute best to kill my Hydra alongside your own Beasts."
"If not, my Beast will only be furious and think you all are looking down on it," said Kale with a shrug.
But Fabio and his teammates’ expressions were solemn as they stared at the small Nemesis Hydra; despite its laughable size, it emanated a tyrannical aura of utter dominance.

With some hesitation, all eight of them summoned their Beasts from their shadows; there was already fear in the Beasts’ eyes, despite their rare bloodlines and the fact that they were all Lesser Feral-rank Beasts, just like Neo.
But at their masters’ urging, the Beasts somewhat regained their courage and attacked all at once. At the same time, the eight people activated their Beast-Inherited abilities and traits.
Dashing forward, Kale looked intently at the scene unfolding before him; he had no intention of helping Neo, even if the Hydra needed help; in fact, he had even set a few restrictions on the creature.
For example, Neo could not use its bloodline superiority to suppress the other Beasts; it could not use the Rattling Roar.
Only through physical strength and speed could Neo defeat all eight Feral-rank Beasts and their masters at once.
5 minutes after...
All eight Beasts of the mercenaries lay down, breathing heavily; there was palpable fear in their eyes. They were somewhat bloody as well, with some injuries here and there, but none were too severe.
While their masters were not in any better situation, in fact, a few of them were knocked unconscious just from the hit, casual physical attacks of Neo, due to the Hydra’s overwhelming strength.
While Neo stood tall, unmoving, no fatigue or stress was visible on the creature, not even the slightest injury, apart from some red blood sticking to its green scales.
But those were not Neo’s blood; rather, the blood of its opponents.
Kale nodded; thankfully, Neo fought as he expected—showing no trouble or weakness, even when facing nearly 16 adversaries of the same rank.
Kale brought two different sets of healing pills from his system storage, giving one set to the injured mercenaries and feeding the other to the Beasts.
This healed both the Tamers and their Beasts within 5 minutes, now back to their peak condition.
But the fear nestling in the mercenaries’ hearts remained; it couldn’t be helped. The amount of thrashing the little creature gave these people was a bit much from a neutral perspective.
Kale sighed, "Do you understand how lacking your Beasts are compared to Neo?"

"And I don’t mean it in terms of strength superiority; rather, the greater Beastly battle capacity that my Hydra possesses is what gave it a greater advantage in contrast to your Beasts."
"More than that, I don’t think you’re ruthless enough when commanding your Beasts in battle. Because what makes a Tamed Beast more dangerous than a wild one?"
"It is the intelligent operation of its abilities and powers handled by its master."
"So, command your Beasts again, but this time, I will be the one taking them on," stated the Cursed Tamer.
Fabio sighed; he was a 29-year-old man, but now he was being lectured by a 12-year-old kid, and yet he did not feel displeased, because people did not become great just by age; the prime example stood in front of him.
The team leader looked to his right, towards Paula, who wore a somewhat complicated expression that lasted only a brief instant; both looked at each other and nodded.
Fabio commanded his slithering Pyro Cobra to lunge forward at the master of the Nemesis Hydra.
It was a vibrant red, slithering snake emitting waves of heat; it seemed almost wreathed in flickering flames. Just as it looked deadly, it was also dangerously beautiful. The Creature lunged forward, just as it was commanded to.
The snake-like Beast used its tail like a fiery whip, lashing it at Kale, who dodged it with ease thanks to his speed.
Paula’s Beast was a Prism Hornet, a crystalline insect with translucent wings, which could refract and reflect bursts of light. With a flap of its wings, it dashed forward.
Appearing in front of Kale at a speed that far surpassed his own, Kale wasn’t much surprised, as he had already seen these Beasts’ tactics and qualities when they faced off against Neo.
What followed was a blinding burst of radiance from the translucent wings of the Prism Hornet; it blinded his vision, but again, he honestly did not need to see with his eyes, with his status as a Hexarion Human and superb senses for all forms of energy.
He could feel what moves all these Beasts were making.
A stealth-type creature named Gloom Weasel, which absorbed the surrounding light and darkened the area around it, appeared right by his side, swiping at him with its elongated, shadowy claws.
A Sulfur Hyena trailed right after, its poisonous fangs dripping with corrosive acid; Kale, with his dagger, first blocked the Gloom Weasel’s claw, then counterattacked the Hyena with a large swipe.

But at that moment, a large cut appeared on his leg; Kale did not even manage to defend against that wind-based attack, delivered by a Beast called Zephyr Kestrel, a small bird with an elongated beak that shimmered with light green wind-elemental power.
It possessed unmatched speed and the ability to shoot long-range, wind-based, sharp slashes that were quite hard to defend against.
In that discombobulated moment, Kale could not see, due to the Prism Hornet’s previous light-based attack, nor move, due to the Zephyr Kestrel’s wind cut.
A sturdy burrowing rodent with a hide reinforced by jagged, earth-toned crystalline growths, dug up from the wooden floor of the training facility and bit near the injured section of his leg.
Then came the Glaciel Otter, which exhaled a frost-cold breath of ice that instantly encased his two feet in crystalline ice, locking him completely to the floor.
Now, with all of this, Kale was completely incapacitated for a few moments, not in the state to either see or sense things clearly or counterattack, but he heard the enraged puffs of a mighty creature filled with controlled rage.
A miniaturised but heavily muscled bovine with a reinforced, metallic-looking skull and thick horns. It was called Impact Bison; it was a creature specialising in physical might.
As it stomped its feet on the ground and ran forward at top speed towards the momentarily immobilised Kale, right as its Horns brutally crashed onto Kale’s stomach, a kinetic wave of electric shock travelled through his entire body, jolting his insides.
Yet this also broke him out of his immobilised state, though the attacks left him somewhat injured.
Yet the mercenaries’ Beasts had no intention of letting Kale collect his thoughts.
But they did not know the horror of the man standing before them. As Kale smiled with his bloody teeth, he declared, "My turn."
Thus, his killing intent burst forth, locking onto all the Beasts, as his massive wave of mana also erupted. Forcing the eight rare creatures, each with special qualities, to step back, sensing danger to their very lives.
