Chapter 415: Three Gemstones Of Death!

[The Royal Tomb]

"What is your test?!" Mirabella asked, her voice echoing off the ancient stone walls of the cavern, steady and completely devoid of fear.

The black skeleton slowly turned its skull towards her, the crimson pinpricks of light in its hollow eye sockets staring intently at the young lady for a long moment. Its jaw bone clattered together as it continued:

"Yvao$ €£ywui ayisve& $kpwcu."

Mirabella calmly translated the ancient tongue in her mind:

"You are young. Go back and enjoy your life, because you might die in the test."

Mirabella blinked at the skeleton, a faint, amused smile playing on her lips. It was fascinating; despite being a manifestation of primordial trial, the entity was actually worried about her throwing her young life away.

"You don’t have to worry about that." Mirabella said smoothly. With a casual snap of her fingers, the spatial fabric before her rippled, and a brilliant red gemstone materialized, hovering in the dim air.

"....?!!"

Seeing the glowing gem, the skeleton’s red eyes violently widened in sheer shock. It stared at the radiating relic, then at Mirabella, then back at the stone again, its ancient aura fluctuating wildly.

"U?€%© yas$& Piags?!"

"You already got the red gemstone?!"

Mirabella slowly nodded her head, her expression flawlessly serene. "So don’t worry about your Test, I will also past it."

The skeleton stared deeply into her soul, the shock radiating from its bones. When it finally spoke again, it switched entirely to perfect English, stunning Mirabella slightly with its fluid, ancient accent:

"Young girl, that Gemstone alone can grant you unbelievable powers, even unlock unknown ancient bloodlines. Why do you give up on all this, and actually want to hunt for the remaining two?" It asked, pointing a long, bony finger directly at the floating red gemstone.

"All bloodlines related to death can be acquired with this single piece." The skeleton explained, its voice dropping to a solemn rumble:

"The Necromancy bloodline, the soul extraction ability, the soul extinction ability, the primordial Death Bloodline, and even the legendary Soul Reaper bloodline—There are countless, all god class abilities and bloodlines contained within. You will give up such an unprecedented opportunity to gain one, why? Why are you after all three gemstones?" It asked, genuinely baffled by her choices.

Mirabella reached out and firmly grabbed the red gemstone.

"I know, these individual powers are incredibly impressive." Mirabella reasoned, her gaze hardening with absolute ambition.

"But do you know I will have full control over death itself with the three combined? By then, all these abilities and bloodlines you just mentioned—won’t I be able to use every single one? Tell me, why would I give up the opportunity to have all these abilities and bloodlines and only settle for one?"

"....?!"

The skeleton was completely stunned into silence, exhaling a thick plume of black smoke from its nasal cavity.

"Young Lady, greed is a very dangerous thing..." The skeleton warned softly.

"Getting the three isn’t as simple as completing a standard test. In all Eons, and from the very birth of Heaven and Earth, no creature has been able to successfully wield the three gemstones simultaneously. And due to the large amount of historical deaths throughout the cosmos, it was deliberately hidden away in this small planet. I strongly suggest you pass on the idea."

"Senior, you are here to test the Participants, not discourage them, right?" Mirabella asked back, staring directly into its crimson eyes. "The skeleton I met in Babylon Didn’t warn me or anything." She added, noting the inconsistency.

The black skeleton turned to her, evaluating her unyielding resolve. After some seconds of heavy silence, it finally nodded its head in acceptance.

"Okay young lady... I will take your consciousness directly to my test ground. If you succeed, you will gain the second gemstone, but remember, if your consciousness dies in that realm, your physical body will die here as well." It warned.

"Thank you, Senior, for giving me a chance." Mirabella said, offering a small, respectful bow of her head.

"Master." Adira called out, her voice tight with worry as she stepped closer.

"Adira, make sure no one disturbs me. And guard the place." Mirabella instructed, her tone leaving no room for argument.

"I will stay right beside Master." Adira said immediately, standing upright as her silver hair shimmered. "Vespina and the Others can help handle the perimeter out there. I will also call Celestia out from her seclusion to guard you personally... Rest assured, no one will disturb you."

Mirabella smiled softly at her loyal Subordinate, nodded reassuringly at Toxin, and then turned her attention back to the ancient skeleton.

"I am ready, Senior."

"Alright then, come with me."

Mirabella sat down cross-legged on the hard stone floor directly before the open coffin. The exact moment she closed her eyes, she felt a powerful wave of warm light wrap completely around her body, and her consciousness instantly vanished from the physical world.

BAM!

Adira raised a sharp eyebrow, her head turning instantly toward the tomb’s entrance. A cold aura burst from her; she had just made an absolute promise to the Master, and now, someone was already aggressively making noises outside.

"Keep watch, I will check what’s happening out there." She said coldly, leaving Toxin behind to guard Mirabella’s comatose form as she glided toward the exit.

[Training Space.]

Mirabella’s awareness snapped awake. She appeared floating in the middle of deep space, moving her gaze all over the endless expanse of brilliant, burning stars. There was absolutely nothing but constellations stretching into infinity.

"Welcome again."

Mirabella turned around sharply. Walking towards her as if walking on a perfectly flat surface was a middle-aged man. Long, flowing white hair draped over his shoulders, his arms neatly folded behind the back of his pristine white robes, and his completely white eyes remained fixed on her.

"Greetings Senior." Mirabella quickly greeted, lowering her head.

Internally, her mind was racing. ’I don’t understand... I am a Divine Sovereign, and I also possess a massive damage Multiplier, but why do I feel like I am utterly powerless before this person?’ She thought, deliberately keeping her gaze downcast to hide her anxiety.

"It’s understandable you feel that way." The man said smoothly, his calm words instantly stunning her.

Mirabella looked up at him in sheer surprise. Ever since she had gained her Mental Overlord skill, she was always the one reading other people’s minds effortlessly. But this time around, she was completely on the receiving end.

The white-haired man smiled faintly, the starlight reflecting off his robes.

"You must be Mirabella, Daughter Of Genevieve... Not bad at all."

Mirabella froze in place, staring at the mysterious man in absolute shock. How on earth did this primordial entity know her mother?
