Chapter 380: There She Is
"If I may ask, what about Destiny?" He asked, his tone dripping with curiosity as he casually adjusted the high-collared mantle of his crimson uniform.
"She is currently stationed at the other end of the line with some of her elite guild members," Hayatobi answered coldly, his sharp gaze locking onto the younger guild leader with a deeply serious expression:
"If you truly want to help stabilize this perimeter, you can start with the massive horde of zombies actively charging towards us right now."
"Oh teacher... You just have to say it. You don’t have to be so incredibly serious all the time." Antonio simply pointed a single finger to the side, aimed squarely at the incoming wall of charging zombies, while his relaxed gaze remained completely fixed on Hayatobi’s face.
A tiny, hyper-compressed ball of intense fire materialized at his fingertip, humming with dense elemental runes, and shot outward towards the mass of undead.
WHOOSH!!!
The small fire flew right past the front-line mages and soldiers, slicing through the wind like a stray spark, and the exact moment it made physical contact with a leading zombie—.
BOOOOOOOOM!!!
A catastrophic, blinding mushroom explosion violently occurred, vaporizing hundreds of ordinary zombies in mere seconds. The explosive radius was so huge that it instantly destroyed all the standing buildings in the immediate vicinity. The resulting sound waves violently smashed into the front-line soldiers, throwing them all brutally to the ground.
"....?!!"
Eve and absolutely everyone present stood entirely frozen in place, their faces illuminated by the fading nuclear glare as they stared at the raw, apocalyptic destruction caused by what seemed to be a small, throwaway fire attack.
’So he is Antonio Blaze, the Guild Leader of the prestigious Blaze Guild, and a Level 500 Rune Master who is fundamentally proficient at using Flames... The entirety of the three empires knows him as the legendary Fire Lord,’ Eve thought, a thick bead of cold sweat rolling down her face. Buck, who was still helplessly trapped on his hospital bed, looked even more profoundly horrified by the display of power.
"So powerful?!"
"Antonio! Can you please be serious for once in your life!! You can easily injure our own men if you aren’t careful!!" Hayatobi snapped fiercely at him.
"But I got the deed done smoothly—"
"—Hehehehe... So warm."
"...?!"
Antonio instantly froze, his smug smile faltering. Not only him, but every single fighters along the defensive line turned their heads back toward the smoking crater of the explosion, staring in utter disbelief at a red-skinned woman calmly walking towards them through the embers, gracefully holding a small, intricate umbrella over her head.
Walking precisely before her flanking positions were two monstrous, 10 feet tall red-skinned zombies. These specific two were a lot bigger, denser, and more heavily armored than the ordinary red zombies they had faced so far.
"My flames didn’t ash them?" Antonio was genuinely stunned. Except in the deepest hell dungeon located in the academy, absolutely nothing had ever survived a direct manifestation of his runic flames.
Hayatobi exhaled a long, heavy breath and stepped resolutely forward, standing at the very bleeding edge of the defensive line, staring intently at the mysterious woman who stood exactly three hundred meters away in the burning clearing:
"Can we make a mutually beneficial deal!!" He yelled at the top of his lungs, his sudden words thoroughly stunning Master Teacher Keegan beside him.
"Hayatobi! Are you mad?! Why on earth would we even attempt to make a diplomatic deal with these horrific, unnatural monsters?!" He whispered coldly, his grip tightening on his sword hilt.
"Look around you! They strategically used the ordinary zombies—innocent people who they forcibly turned—to relentlessly attack us and drain our energy... Most of our fighters have already completely used up their energy. Don’t forget that these red-skinned monsters are completely immune to magical and physical attacks. We are at a catastrophic disadvantage right now." Hayatobi whispered back, his eyes never leaving the woman under the umbrella.
"Okay, I fully get your meaning, but what happens if they simply refuse to negotiate?" Keegan added, his jaw clenching.
"It’s very simple... While I intentionally drag out this negotiation with them to buy us time, urge everyone along the line to frantically rush into the teleportation circle area."
"Rush? There is only one central teleportation circle active, and there are three distinct empire destinations—"
"—You?! Why are you being so incredibly stupid right now! Just set the coordinates completely randomly! Anyone who enters the array will be automatically teleported to one of the three main empires! As long as they are completely out of Galaxy City, they can always easily find their way back to their home empire later!" He snapped furiously at Keegan, losing his patience with the rigid protocol.
"Okay, I understand the strategy now." Keegan took two rapid steps back, dropping his head as he closed his eyes, instantly sending a telepathic message to the elite units guarding the pathway.

High above the heavy storm clouds, completely hidden from the frantic perception of everyone fighting below, the four legendary Guardian Protectors stood in mid-air with folded arms, observing the unfolding invasion.
"I think we should stop this slaughter right now." Bonita asked, her voice laced with deep concern as she stared down at the mounting destruction of the neutral city.
"The Chosen One... I don’t want to simply scare this mysterious Chosen One away. I want to definitively know his or her true identity first," Nita said, her fists clenched tightly.
"But our people are actively dying down there," Bonita protested, her aura flickering with an urge to descend.
"Galaxy City is a very small, isolated city; under normal circumstances, there aren’t even five thousand permanent people living in it. This entire city is mainly utilized because of the hosting of the competition. But because of this particular competition, there are currently more than one million people congested here... More than half of this massive number have already safely used the teleportation circle to escape, including the royal families of the three empires. Now, down there, there are only active soldiers, and dead bodies..." Jang Gu said, coolly breaking down the situation below, and added with a sharp glint in his old eyes:
"Besides, I want to see exactly what that Sun family girl can truly do in this scenario."
Fernando moved a silent side of his eye toward the old man, noting his fixation on the Mirabella, but remained completely silent.
"But—"
"—Bonita, we won’t let the soldiers completely die out. If the line gets genuinely serious, we will immediately interfere with our full power." Nita finally stated, her authoritative tone completely calming Bonita’s anxiety down.
Bonita finally nodded her head, staying quiet as she refocused her vision through the clouds.
"Oh! There she is." Jang Gu muttered with a distinct, amused smirk, his gaze tracking a specific golden energy signature heading directly towards the chaotic city:
"I want to see how she handles this unkillable plague." He added, while Nita slowly and deliberately nodded her head in silent agreement.
