Chapter 2043: Chapter 1604: The Enemy’s God Star Is Ahead, Crash Into It

The method is old but practical. Back when pollution was affecting the Gray Divine Star, Ange needed to uphold barriers to protect Shamara. But now, with the presence of Molten Fire impurities, Shamara and Luna move like fish in the sea, free and unrestrained.

Molten Fire impurities are elements that can’t be melted within the Divine Star Core; they were forged in such an environment and are unafraid of the high temperature and pressure inside a Divine Star. Shamara and Luna use these impurities as their shell, making them much safer than they were inside the Gray Divine Star.

So, Ange tossed them into the Divine Star’s interior and paid no further attention, engaging in battle outside to draw the attention of Gemez Fortress. It was only when the pollution became excessive that Gemez Fortress took notice.

"What the hell is this?" Gemez Fortress frantically attempted to slaughter Shamara and Luna internally, facing the same challenges as he did with the Gray Divine Star. His thoughts couldn’t exert power inside his own domain.

The interior of a Divine Star is essentially a high-temperature, high-pressure energy orb, while thoughts are also energy waves. Though his thoughts won’t be consumed by his own Star Flame, they will be disrupted, making it difficult to see clearly, let alone check and annihilate.

The strength of Gemez Fortress’s thoughts should be a hundred times stronger than the Gray Divine Star’s, but his inner environment is also a hundred times harsher, making it even harder to catch enemies.

Hence, he couldn’t afford to deal with Ange, as the giant spider infiltrated his body, quickly turning to flee.

Due to the presence of Molten Fire impurities, Shamara didn’t need Luna to armorize for protection, so they split into two teams, running amok everywhere, occasionally throwing out a mass of the Power of Fall to pollute the nearby Star Flame before disappearing again.

From time to time, they’d also collect some Molten Fire impurities to strengthen themselves.

Soon enough, the giant spider caught up, its massive size comparable to half a Divine Star, plunging its limbs into roughly the right spot.

Just by being in the approximate location, close enough, Gemez Fortress could use the giant spider as an anchor to clearly lock onto the enemy’s position. Once locked by his Star Soul, even Star Skeletons would flee, let alone shells manifesting from Molten Fire impurities.

However, just as his thoughts were about to lock onto Shamara, a Red Cloth unfurled before him, sweeping away a portion of his thoughts.

Gemez Fortress shockingly discovered an abrupt darkness before him; the extended thoughts were suddenly cut off, a large chunk severed by the Red Cloth.

"What the hell is this?" Gemez Fortress asked in horror.

"That’s your Star Dome Seal Cloth, don’t you recognize it?" said the Tree of Ten Thousand Realms.

Gemez Fortress incredulously said: "Star Dome Seal Cloth? It just cut off a part of my thoughts. Can my Star Dome Seal Cloth sever consciousness?"

"It must have imprinted something during the sweep; be careful. The opponent might possess a method to imprison consciousness, effective upon imprinting," warned the Tree of Ten Thousand Realms.

Gemez Fortress was filled with dread, cautiously extending his thoughts again.

The view was already poor; being overly cautious, how could he possibly find traces of Shamara and Luna? Let alone that Red Cloth.

During the stalemate, Ange had caught up, sending a punch from afar, causing half his body to virtualize and star shift forward, gathering into his hand, forming a spike, much like extending a baton, lengthening with a swing.

Gemez Fortress was multitasking, exerting force to sever the spike as it pierced the interior, immediately shredding it.

This time, the severed spike didn’t explode into ’Sea Urchin,’ but transformed into a puddle of pitch-black Power of Fall.

"Ahhh!" Gemez Fortress roared furiously, pollution like light breeze and fog from Shamara and Luna, whereas Ange’s strike was a furious storm, completely in a different league.

If unchecked, Shamara and Luna might take hundreds of years to completely pollute Gemez Fortress, but with Ange, facing a few more strikes and he would become a Fallen Divine Star.

Ange posed a greater threat, causing the giant spider to hurriedly turn and charge out, engaging in another bout with Ange, allowing Shamara and Luna to continue happily contaminating the Star Flame.

Ange was also happy to let Shamara and Luna exert themselves, though he polluted faster, it consumed Incremental Fog, whereas Shamara and Luna only needed to consume Faith Elemental Force.

With so much Incremental Fog, why manifest anything else and waste it here?

"Quick, help me," Gemez Fortress yelled at the Tree of Ten Thousand Realms.

"Can’t help, you might as well assist me. I’m almost being strangled," the Tree of Ten Thousand Realms leisurely replied.

Its battle with the Little Tree Man and Tree Seedling was already blazing; their roots tangled firmly, straining against each other, the Tree of Ten Thousand Realms unsure of how many roots had snapped, constantly at a disadvantage against the two-on-one fight.

Unfortunately, the Tree Seedling couldn’t fully unleash its power as Ange’s true form wasn’t present, otherwise, the Tree of Ten Thousand Realms would’ve been torn apart by them.

"Then come up with a plan quickly, continuing like this will end in my death," Gemez Fortress shouted.

The Tree of Ten Thousand Realms responded with a wry smile: "What plan do I have? Even against enemies you can’t defeat, what can I do?"

"What are those two things inside of me? Why does the Star Flame get polluted wherever they pass? What kind of power is this?" Gemez Fortress queried.

The Tree of Ten Thousand Realms hesitated: "It seems... it’s the Power of Faith."

"Power of Faith? What is that?" Gemez Fortress asked, puzzled.

"It’s the power formed by life species from the plane who believe in certain things, congealing into God Status, accumulating Power of Faith," explained the Tree of Ten Thousand Realms.

"From the plane... life species? The power of believing in certain things?" Gemez Fortress repeated incredulously, struggling to fathom the low level of this power.

The Tree of Ten Thousand Realms continued: "The power layer is very low, but pollution doesn’t require high levels, just filthiness. Besides, the faith layer of gods in the planes is low, but what if this god is as mighty as a Divine Star?"

"How could...?" Gemez Fortress began to say impossible but immediately thought of Ange. Ange was clearly not an original Divine Star; could it be that the opponent has upgraded from a plane god?

Fortunately, he didn’t ask; otherwise, knowing Ange ascended from being a farming skeleton, he might have lost conscious.

"Regardless of whether he was a plane god before, he possesses means to restrain us. Keep going like this, and you’ll die," paused, followed by the Tree of Ten Thousand Realms:

"Remember when you said if you couldn’t explode the opponent’s Divine Star, couldn’t break the Boundless Wall, you’d explode your own core?"

"I remember, but... has it really come to this? You’ll die," Gemez Fortress replied, aware that exploding his own core would spell death for the Tree of Ten Thousand Realms.

"Don’t worry about me; when it truly comes to that, you don’t need to explode yourself, head towards the opponent’s Divine Star and crash into it."
