Chapter 2042: Chapter 1603: He’ll End Up Like Old Star

Once again, this wasn’t the first time the Star Mover tried to coax Ange into learning star migration from him. For the past eleven years, whenever he got the chance, he would persuade Ange to learn star migration, repeatedly describing the benefits of becoming a Star Mover and constantly promising various enticing conditions. If Ange hadn’t already figured out how to open the barriers, he might have agreed.

"The esteemed Star Mover must be joking. Learning star migration is meaningless. Where else is there a God Star to migrate to?" Anthony laughed.

"Isn’t there one right now? We can migrate other God Stars here. This place is too desolate. We could bring some God Stars here to liven it up," the Star Mover continued to persuade.

"Why do you need it to be lively? Are you hiding something from us, esteemed Star Mover?" Anthony questioned.

If he hadn’t been to the outside world, Anthony might not have questioned so directly, instead opting for indirect probing. But now that he’s been outside and has gathered some information, he can ask more directly.

"Huh? No, no, I just think it’s too quiet here. I want it to be lively; without a God Star, I, as a Star Mover, have no sense of purpose." The Star Mover expressed his frustration.

"Haha, is that so? Then why don’t you nurture some Star Descendants to liven things up? Or perhaps bring some leaves over and cultivate some Life Species? Wouldn’t that be lively too? Oh, you don’t have a Tree of Life—would you like a Little Tree Man to bring you a Tree Seedling?" Anthony said with a grin.

The Star Mover was left speechless, realizing that his low-level rhetoric couldn’t fool Anthony. He had no choice but to change the topic: "How’s the situation? Can you beat him? Do you need help?"

Anthony asked doubtfully, "How can you help? Can you beat him?"

"Uh, I can’t beat him. He’s a God Star, and I’m just a Dark Star. But I can try to restrain him," the Star Mover said.

"Haha, that’s considerate, but no need. The Lord can handle it, so don’t get too close, or you might get hurt." Anthony said, then summoned a Star Descendant to keep watch.

These sentries, like the one Anthony set up, were quite common. They weren’t just there to prevent the Star Mover from approaching but to also guard against anything else sneaking up.

Previously, there was a large accumulation of black fog at the Triangle Gap to prevent the gap from being discovered. Now that Ange has requisitioned it, even more vigilance is needed to prevent it from being noticed by others.

"Huh? You’re not letting me get close? We’ve known each other for so long, yet you still guard against me?" The Star Mover lamented.

"It’s nothing like that; I’m just worried you might get hurt. Can’t you see from here? Don’t get too close." Despite the hint of disdain in his tone, Anthony refused to admit it outright.

But even without disdain, Anthony couldn’t possibly allow a God Star with an unclear relationship to get close. Who knows if it might suddenly go berserk and cause some trouble?

Anthony firmly refused to budge, and the Star Mover, not wanting to fall out with him, could only stay put and watch from afar.

After all, a God Star is a God Star. Even though the Star Mover is a Dark Star, it’s still a slightly smaller God Star with a powerful Star Soul. From this distance, Anthony couldn’t clearly see Ange’s Giant Star God or the giant spider, only a massive Light Ball. However, the Star Mover could see the battle clearly.

"Why are the Star Descendants of your main star so large?" After seeing the battle participants clearly, the Star Mover asked in some astonishment.

Anthony didn’t miss the chance for indirect probing and asked with curiosity, "Has the esteemed Star Mover never seen such gigantic Star Descendants?"

The Star Mover thought for a moment and replied, "I’ve seen it, but not as an independent entity. They’re comprised of many Star Descendants linked together. I’ve never seen a single Star Descendant so large."

"The esteemed Star Mover truly lives up to the name, to have seen scenes of many Star Descendants linked together. What do they do when they link up?" Anthony asked.

Flattered by Anthony, the Star Mover replied, "When they link up like that, they can connect all consciousness and create a powerful consciousness."

"Create?" Anthony asked in surprise.

"Yes, of course. It’s temporary, though. Once the connection is severed, it vanishes," the Star Mover explained.

While explaining, the Star Mover was more focused on the battle between Ange and Gemez Fortress. After watching for a while, he couldn’t help but comment, "So, this is a battle of attrition? How long will this take?"

Anthony’s heart skipped a beat, but he pretended to be dismissive, "My Lord is already crushing the enemy. The opponent’s consumption is greater, aren’t battles between God Stars all like this? Unless you have a better method?"

"God Stars all have a core; that’s the weakness. Just attack there..." At this point, the Star Mover glanced at Anthony and didn’t continue.

"Who doesn’t know to attack the weak point, but how can it be attacked? Do you have a good idea?" Anthony pressed, but internally he couldn’t help but sigh; the Star Mover reacted too quickly.

The Star Mover, realizing his mistake, naturally couldn’t tell the truth. He gave a dismissive answer, "Of course, you just have to strike through his core. Once the core can’t restrain the Star Flame, it will naturally collapse."

Anthony shrugged helplessly. Blasting through Gemez Fortress’s core was something Ange planned from the start. But when the spikes pierced, they were easily shredded by the Star Flame.

Don’t be fooled into thinking that the surface Star Flame of a God Star is flowing, imagining it’s weak. Those aren’t water; they’re Star Flams condense from energy, equivalent to a millions-kilometers-thick Magic Shield, not to mention high-temperature and high-pressure. Just brushing against it is like brushing past millions of Blast Fireballs queued up.

It’s a purely energy-based Energy Shield. To break through it directly to the core, you need something that can withstand its consuming intensity. However, the most despairing thing about a God Star is often its strength.

Unless there’s something that can endure the high-temperature and high-pressure of a God Star, only then can it reach the core directly.

At that moment, an abrupt change occurred. The giant spider entangled with Ange suddenly retreated quickly, returning to the God Star’s surface, glaring at Ange resentfully before turning and diving into the Star Flame.

The entire God Star of Gemez Fortress then accelerated suddenly, sketching a huge arc in the opposite direction.

Ange immediately gave chase.

"Wha... what happened?" Anthony and the Star Mover were both taken aback and asked simultaneously.

In the Soul Network, Negris smiled and explained, "When Ange stabbed him just now, he left some Molten Fire inside and then let Shamara and Luna taint it. Now that he’s discovered, he’s summoning the giant spider back to hunt down Shamara and Luna. Who knows if he can expel that Fallen Angel; otherwise, he’ll end up like the Old Star."
