Chapter 103: 103-No Bra And Something Sketchy

Gigi:

I prepared breakfast, and while I was doing so, Ragnar woke up.

I didn’t tell him anything.

He did not need to know anything as of yet. Of course he will find out eventually.

I put her phone back in his pants and told him I would be washing them, and he didn’t think much of it.

So that is how his pants ended up on the couch in the living room.

I wanted to set up a perfect scene where a murder happens, but I am not the killer.

I had other people to use as my weapons.

Of course, I didn’t tell Ragnar that Verity had called. I let him believe I was unaware of everything.

The thought of him cheating on me was killing me.

Her words were still ringing in my ears, causing me extreme headache.

Even though it was only Verity’s word against the love Ragnar and I shared, I was still very confused.

There was a lot going on in my mind, but I was going to be very careful with everything and with how I proceeded.

At the very least, I shouldn’t be the one to suggest that something had happened between her and Ragnar.

So, when Ragnar went out for a jog, I called his brothers over for breakfast.

I knew they would be more than happy to come because they always enjoyed spending time with me.

They arrived in comfortable clothes, smiling from ear to ear.

"Has Oliver woken up yet?" Theodore asked, pinching my cheek before grabbing a sausage and taking a bite, admiring all the food I had prepared for breakfast.

"No, he’s still sleeping," I replied, rubbing my hands together to clean them.

"You know what? I was thinking about everything," I began, watching Theodore and Jaguar shove food into their mouths without even sitting down properly.

It was their pre-breakfast meal. They would just shove everything down their throats.

These were big men. They needed more food than everyone else.

"And I realized something," I said, smiling at them.

Jaguar lifted his head after taking a big bite of fruit, watching me with his beautiful eyes, while Theodore gulped down some cold water.

Whenever they were in the living room with me, showing off their masculine sides as they wandered around, I would feel heat spread through my body, almost as if I was ready to be taken.

Having them walk around me, catching their scents, and feeling them embrace me was a different kind of feeling.

All I was missing was Ragnar.

But Ragnar had really saddened me.

He had disappointed me, and I wasn’t going to let it go.

I knew there was someone who would take a strong stand for me.

That would be his brothers. So I was going to turn them against him because of his actions.

"What were you thinking?" Theodore snapped his fingers in front of my face.

Sometimes I would get so mesmerized by them that I would forget I was in the middle of something.

So I began very dramatically.

"We should really thank Verity. I mean, if it wasn’t for her, I’m not sure how long my brother would have been passed out on that street," I mumbled with a pout, watching the two of them look at each other before turning back to me.

Every time I did something like that, they saw me as some kind of goddess.

Someone who was kind, sweet, and caring. It wasn’t my fault.

I never even said it directly. They just assumed it, and I let them.

"Don’t you think we should call her and thank her?" I asked with a pout, acting as innocent as I could, almost as if I was too afraid to make a decision on my own, even for something as simple as calling their employee.

"That’s actually a very good idea." Theodore walked over to me, wrapped an arm around me, kissed me on the head, and then walked away.

Why? Why did he have to walk away? Why not just throw me onto the table, undress me, and present me to his brother as well?

"Yeah, I’ll call her. I’ll connect the call for you. Don’t worry," Jaguar replied.

Before he could do it, I turned around and saw that Theodore was already calling Verity’s phone.

That was quick.

That was how much they obeyed me. One gesture from me, and he was already calling Verity.

Otherwise, he would never call someone like her or any other employee.

However, the moment he started calling her, the sound of a phone buzzing came from near the couch.

It took the brothers a few seconds to realize that the buzzing started every time Theodore called.

"Is it coming from Ragnar’s pants?" Jaguar asked, while I acted clueless.

I didn’t want to be the one to suggest anything. They had to find it and figure it out themselves.

Theodore reached over to Ragnar’s pants and slipped his hand into the pocket.

The moment he pulled out the phone, he looked at me, then at Jaguar, and then back at Verity’s phone.

The two brothers looked as though they were speaking without words. I just stared at them in confusion.

Then I slowly walked over, touched Ragnar’s pants, and took the phone from Theodore’s hand.

"Oh, it’s apparently her phone," I said, giving no indication that I was angry or suspicious.

The two of them didn’t say anything. They just kept watching my face. Even Jaguar had arrived and stepped closer to me.

"Why does she have her phone in his pocket?" I asked innocently, turning to each of them one by one.

I kept my innocent face intact, not giving away my true feelings.

"Well, I guess Ragnar has to answer that question."

Jaguar snatched the phone out of my hand, and I could already see the veins in his neck popping.

That was what I meant when I said the brothers would turn against their own brother for me.
