Chapter 94: [Bonus Chapter]94. Emily’s mother
Rosie and Emily as well as everyone else grew worried and anxious. Raven came over and held Rosie’s hand. He could feel her emotions through the mate bind and knew what she was thinking. Though he was sure of what exactly happened to Luna, he knew for a fact that she was still breathing.
Unlike the others, he could easily decipher between the pain of the alpha and Luna and it would affect him more than the pack members as the beta if something were to happen to either of them. He could feel that she was in pain but she was still alive.
"They are alive, love." He said, letting her hug him and lean on to him, to use him as her source of strength. " Nothing will happen to them.
"But Luna was with us in the safe house when she suddenly disappeared and we could not find her again," Emily said.
"Luna Dana is fine," Levi said and walked over to where she le stood. Emily nodded and let him hold her.
Levi and Raven didn’t think it was the right time to tell them what happened. It would not be right to tell them that vampires and Spell casters were the ones who took her and fed her wolfsbane making her weak and near death. That would leave the people in devastation. They had lost enough already, they didn’t need to know of any more possible losses.
"Have all the healers and doctors go to the pack hospital, there is patience that needs urgent attention there. " Raven said to one of the pack doctors.
"Yes, beta," The man said before leaving the pack house in a hurry, he pulled out his phone to make some calls.
"The rest of you, " Raven said again gaining the attention of everyone around him. "Out yourselves to good use and clean up the pack, I will head to the Blackstorm pack to check on the Alpha and Luna, I wouldn’t want to return and meet the place as unpleasant as they had left it."
"Understood. "They answered in unison.
They did not know why the Alpha and Luna were in the Blackstorm pack but they could feel the tension from their alpha and nothing from their Luna as if she was no longer with them. The only thing that kept their minds at ease was when Raven said that she was alive and okay. They chose to believe him even though they knew it was more than what he had let them know.
"I will come with you beta Raven," Emily said, she walked closer to him and stopped in front of him. " I want to check on Kora, I can’t reach her through the link and I feel something has happened to her."
"She’s coming with us," Levu said when he saw that Raven was going to refuse. He then walked over to her and stood beside her, placing his around her waist, he looked at her and their eyes locked for two seconds before looking back at Raven.
Raven wondered what was wrong with the last two days when children seemed to find their mates and tended to become more annoying than usual. Looking at the girl who was Kora’s best friend, looking so worried for her friend, he wondered if that was why she mated to the gamma supreme, to keep on supporting her even after she leaves the pack knowing how hard it is to get along with Kora.
"You can come with us," Rosie said, stepping in to make that decision and ease the situation that was heading south.
"Thank you," Kora said to Rosie with a smile. "I will go home and change my clothes first." She said and turned to head to her house.
"We are leaving now," Raven says stopping her from getting any further. Emily turned and pursed her lips.
She was dirty from leading the way through an old and dirty tunnel. Since she was the one whom Kora had told about the secret passage in the safe house, she had to lead them out when they felt danger approaching them and she got dirty because of that. She had cobwebs on her hair muddy stains on her dress and some of the stuff which she did not fully recognise. She did not feel good king anywhere looking like that. Especially when she would go with her mate whom she would want to see in her most beautiful state. If she had known she would be meeting her mate, she would have asked someone else to lead the way while she just gave the instructions.
"You can go without us, we will join you shortly." Levi said to Raven who nodded and left without further delay." Why don’t we get you changed?" He said looking at Emily with want and admiration in his eyes. Stretching his hand to her hair picked up and leaf and threw it to the ground. Emily blushed in embarrassment. "Is she your mother?" Levi asked looking at the woman who looked like Emily walking towards them.
Emily turned to look in that direction and she nodded her head. "Yes, that is my mother. " She replied. She became shy when her mother walked over and stopped in front of them.
On the other hand, Levi had his hand around her waist as if claiming her in front of her mother which increased the pink hue in her cheeks.
"Supreme gamma." Emily’s mother greeted her with a small bow before looking at her daughter. "Are you her mate?" she asked.
"Yes," came the curt response of Levi, his hand still possessively draped around her waist.
"Mama... "
"We will talk about this when your father is present, Emily." Her mother stopped before she could say anymore.
"Yes, Mama," Emily said with a sullen look on her face. She could only hope that things turn out alright later when he father was present else she would have to run away as she had planned to do if her parents refused to let her leave the pack and go on an exploration outside. The only difference now would be that she would be running to her mate.
Levi frowned at the exchange between Emily and her mother. He smiled finally knowing her name. He didn’t know how to ask her about her name when it was obvious that she already knew who he was as what he was. He shook his head to return to the important thing right now. Emily’s mother did not seem happy that she found her mate. Or maybe was it because he was her mate?
