Chapter 64: 64. Meeting the Alpha and Luna
"It has to be a parent of hers," Raven said also standing and walking over to where Lazarus stood. "But which one of them, is the question we need an answer to." Standing next to Lazarus, he asked, "What makes you think that they are connected in a way?"
"He is different around her," Lazarus answered.
"You are different around her too, Alpha, what is so special about how he is?" Raven questioned.
"I can’t explain it, and you won’t understand even if I do. It is best to wait, when she is older, we will know." Lazarus said.
"You won’t stop looking for answers, will you?" Raven asked.
"No. Lazarus replied, curtly.
"What is it that you are looking for? Ezra and I can help." Said, Raven. Lazarus gave some thought to it before deciding to get their help knowing that it was better to have more people look into the matter than do it all alone.
"Dana and Kora," Lazarus said, meeting Raven’s gaze. "I want to know who Dana’s parents are, which one of them was a witch or maybe another possible hybrid and who was the shifter. As for Kora, who among her parents came from this pack and how they are related to the tribe of mystic wolves."
"I will see what I can find, but it will take time," Raven said and Lazarus gave him a nod.
"I am aware." He said heading for the door. "How is she?" Lazarus asked and holding the doorknob, he looked over his shoulder to see Raven who was behind him.
"She is downstairs," Raven said and Lazarus raised a brow.
"So quick?" Lazarus said, smiling at his friend and beta. Raven smirked, walking closely to Lazarus he asked, "Is it that surprising?"
"No. I am happy for you." Lazarus said, patting him on the shoulder. "Now, take me to her." He said in a commanding yet playful tone.

Downstairs, Dana and Rosie were happily talking when a she-wolf came over to tell something to Dana, she was about to use the mind link when Dana stopped her and introduced who Rosie was. The Shewolf’s eyes went wide and right after that she smiled and bowed her head to Rosie as well.
Rosie, who wasn’t used to being treated that way, didn’t know how to respond but the woman did not seem to mind as she knew that Rosie was a human who had just found out about the shifters and other creatures.
After she left, the news of Raven’s made being in the pack noise spread around the house, and the people who lived in the pack house and still around came to see who it was that was tied to the beta. They wanted to if she was... another version of him or livelier than him.
Dana and Rosie were surrounded by the lack of members who had come to see the beta female of the pack, but male and female alike.
This was the sight that greeted Lazarus and Raven as soon as they stepped out of the office, the pack members talking happily with their female leaders. It was a sight that they didn’t hate.
They walked down the stairs and with their gazes strain on the two women they had been surrounded by the pack members and made their way to the bottom step and stopped there.
Feeling the presence of their alpha, they all turned towards the stairs and found him standing there with the beta. "Alpha!" They all greeted with their heads bowed.
Lazarus nodded at them before making their way to where Dana sat with Rosie. The pack members dispersed, giving the alpha the space he needed with the new female of the pack.
Dana stood up and hugged Lazarus who returned the gesture. Pulling away from the hug, he placed his left hand around her waist and turned to face the other woman who was also now standing.
Rosie, who had come to know that the woman whom she had been talking to was the female head of the pack, looked at the couple, the sight before she was warm. She had never thought the supernatural creatures would be this lovely to be around. Her eyes shifted to Raven who had walked down side by side with the alpha of the pack. Dana had told her that Raven was the second in command of the pack and now she could fully believe how he stood next to Alpha without looking out of place.
Lazarus had a dominant and unapproachable aura, which was highly expected of an alpha male. He oozed authority and the raw energy could be seen and felt in him, in his movements and the way he carries himself.
Raven walked over to where she stood and bowed his head, " Alpha, Luna, This is my mate, Rosie Spears." He introduced her.
Lazarus smiled at them before extending his hand to her." Alpha Lazarus of the Blood Moon Pack." She shook his hand with a shy smile on her face. "This is my mate whom you have already met, Luna Dana of the Blood Moon Pack." He said, dropping his hand back to his side. "Consider this as your home," he gestures to the entire pack house which she asked the pack to be included with his hand.
"Thank you, Alpha." Rosie shyly said. She looked at Dana who seemed the happiest to see her.
"No one will introduce me?" Ezra asked, walking in with a pout. These people were too biased, they sent and chased him away while they stayed around the lady as if they owned her. "Don’t you think it is unfair, Alpha?"
"No, it isn’t," Raven answers on behalf of Lazarus. "Nothing will change if you are introduced or not, so it is not unfair." He said with a straight face.
"You sure do know how to hurt a man’s feelings, Raven," Ezra said and walked over to them. "I wish Kora was back already, she will know how to handle better than I do."
