Away from the Blood Moon pack.
Cillia stood in front of a mansion pa white and grey. The mansion was located at the top of a hill overlooking a human city. Up there it stood like a giant with a ’PRIVATE PROPERTY, DO NOT TRESPASS’ sign on the bars of its gates. Cillia touched the sign before she opened the gates and walked inside.
There were no guards around making the place look desolate and abandoned. She walked to the front doors and opened it. The inside was dark with the windows being delivered with thick black curtains preventing the rays of the sun from penetrating inside leaving it in darkness.
Not sure which direction she should take after opening the door and walking inside the darkened hallway, she stops and used a spell sense where the only creature in the house was and teleported there.
She reappeared inside a large room that was as dark as the rest of the house. There, she stood facing the bed where a man lay ever so lazily. Cillia felt her anger grow at the sight of him. Here he was lying and sleeping through the day while she worked her ass off out there.
"Not even a welcome, Dmitri?" She asked walking over to the bed with her hands on her hips. The man’s eyes opened to reveal a bright red color that could send anyone flying out of there without a second thought but it was not the same with the witch that stood her ground in front of his bed and stared down at him. "What? Didn’t expect to see me?"
The next second, Cillia was pinned to the head with her back pressed against and a hand on her neck but a smile curved at the corner of her lips as she stared into the blazing red eyes of the vampire who now covered over her with not a single fabric on him.
With a wave of her hand, the lights were turned on eliminating the once dark room. His dark and long hair that framed his face was a stark contrast to his pale skin and blood-red eyes. "Why are you here?" Dmitry asked in a cold tone as he glared at the witch who had come to disturb his peaceful afternoon.
"For a visit of course, why else would be here?" Cillia said looking him directly in the eyes.
"Don’t push me more than you already have, Cillia." He warned. Releasing his grip on her neck, he stood next to the bed.
"How could you stay like that during the day without anything on you?" Cillia complained and sat as well.
"It’s hot today," He answered. Turning to face her again, she asked, "Why are you here? Have nothing to do than to disturb me?"
"Don’t you know why there are windows in a house?" she asked ignoring his question. He looks at her without opening his mouth not the disinterest in his eyes was enough to tell her that he was not in the mood. "Since your air conditioners don’t seem to work well enough for you, you should just open the windows and let the air in." Dmitri glared at her.
"Cillia..." He warned her.
"I have come to make you get up your lazy butt and so something. I am out there working and you are here sleeping through every passing day, Dmitri, don’t forget our deal." Cillia said in a serious tone.
"You and Leroy failed, and now you want me t clean up for you?" He asked, his red eyes seem to get darker as he stared at her but she was still unaffected. "You left him alonduringof a fight, why?"
"If he could tell you all that then I believe he has told you why," Cillia replied. "You know what is going on because he has kept you updated, get out there and do something or I will back out as well."
"The wolf," Dmitri spoke when he saw her standing up to leave, "Is it Gaia?" he asked making her stop to look at him with raised eyebrows. "I didn’t exist just yesterday, Cillia."
"You’ve met her before?" Cillia asked now standing in front of him.
"Let’s just say it was an unforgettable encounter." He replied and walked over to the closet. "She wouldn’t want to see me and am not exactly looking forward to a reunion."
"What can you say about her?" She asked again because she wanted to know who she was dealing with. She was old but jit as old as the vampire standing with her right now. She knew about the first Mystic wolf but not as much as someone who had lived through her time would and she wanted to know.
"Depends on who she is reborn as," He answered to her. Turning to face her now with some pants on he asked, "What is her human side like? Her temperament?"
Cillia did not know what Kora was like, she had only seen her once and that was during the battle in the Blood Moon pack and there was nothing that she could learn at that moment that would answer the question. "The more strong-willed her human side is the stronger she will be," Dmitri informed her.
"We will know that during the Luna supreme’s ceremony in a week." Cillia said looking at him sternly as if saying, be there or else...."
"She is the Luna?" He asked in surprise. He was not aware of that little detail.
"Yes and she has a ceremony in a week, I will be expecting you, " Cillia said before she disappeared even before he could reply.
Dmitri looked at the spot where she stood before. After a minute of looking into the empty spot, he walked to where the light switch was and turned it off before walking to his desk and picking up a file that was kept lying there carelessly.

At the Queen’s Bar,
Darren and Lazarus had both left their respective packs to meet at the human city that was agreed upon. They met at the Queen’s Bar and sat facing each the in a booth at the far corner of the bar facing everyone.
They could hear the loud music playing and see people coming in and going out of their will. The air around them was a bit dense as the conversation that they were having was not a pleasant one.
"So you are saying that all of these started because of your pack." Darren said in irritation as he called at Lazarus who had a serious but controlled expression on his face." Why the f*ck should I get involved in this instead of standing by the sidelines?" He asked almost yelling.
"This tougher than one pack alone, Darren and you know that," Lazarus replied. He was also annoyed and stressed about the whole situation and did not need Darren blaming it all on him like he was saying right now. "Stand by the sidelines and watch as my pack goes down, fine, but what will you do when they discovered the other packs, Your packs? By then it will be too late for you to stop them and then what? You stand by the sidelines and watch them all go because it was not you whom it stemed from?" Lazarus stated in frustation.
"Don’t give me that sh*t." Darren growled. "How the f*ck am I supposed go about this? Start a war with the humans? You know that We can’t go against our laws. Unless they attack us first, we can not do anything about them."
"I didn’t say attack the humans, all I am saying we should be prepared for anything including an attack from humans anytime soon." Lazarus defended himself. "I don’t know how many People David Spears has working with him on this but I know he is not working alone."
"Have you traced him down?" Darren asked. He picked up the glass of wine in front of him downed it all in one go and the signaled one of his guards to have it refilled.
"Yes, he lives here in this city. " Lazarus said and Dareen glared at him once more at him.
"How convenient," Darren said with sarcasm. This whole situation was not right all. How exactly did the shifter get entangled with people who could cause more problems to them? This was one of the many things that he hated about being the head.
If he was someone else in the pack then all of this would have fallen on someone else head and not his. But at the sake time, he could nit see himself taking orders from someone else. Not when he was so good at giving orders.
Lazarus looked at Darren and understood very well how he was feeling. The weight on their shoulders as the heads of their race was not an easy one to bear. It required a lot of strength a determination.
Dealing with their kind was already difficult as they were all haughty creature who needed a lot drilling and commanding and the right person to tell them what to do. Not everyone could do what they do as leaders. As Alphas.
