Chapter 116: 116. A visit to the pack house 2

The pack’s residents stared at Kora and Emily with curiosity, following every movement that they made. Watching closing and wondering what they were doing in the pack house. Though rumors were circulating in the air, they did not believe that girls were the information e in question.

Besides the fact that they were unsure of their identity. Kora drew a lot of attention with her physical features alone. She was beautiful, but that was what caught them as supernatural creatures were usually very beautiful compared to humans. The most outstanding and striking thing about her right now was her hair and eyes which seemed to shine with two different colors within them.

Kora walked inside under the stares of the people with a poker face, unfazed by their stares, and beside her was Emily who was affected by the many ways that were in their bit and tried her best not to fret.

Compared to their pack, this pack likes to stare at people without caring if their stares will make them feel uncomfortable. Emily thought as she tried to keep moving with steady and stable steps. She was glad that Levi and Kora were there with her as they walked. She took a peek at Kora who didn’t look bothered and her face as poker as ever.

She was not the only one who noticed it, the other three women had seen it too. They didn’t know if that was how she was or if she was just acting out, putting on a phase. But they had a feeling it was the before. She was too good at it to be an act. Her temperament was on point and her gaze was distant and indifferent. They had wondered what kind of woman would need to do the alpha supreme and how they would help her adjust to the task but from the looks of it, she didn’t need any help.

Lucy and Lucunda who had seen her when she was a child the time they visited the Blood Moon pack, were not too surprised to see her like this because even back then, she had this kind of air around her. The ability to ignore and treat others like they did not exist was the in. They knew she had a sharp tongue as a child and wondered if she was still there or if she had toned it down a bit.

Sophia stated at the soon-to-be supreme Luna in amazement and awe at her temperament. The way she carried herself was as if she had practiced it over and again until it had become a part of her to move that way with her head held high and her gaze indifferent to those around her.

Darren stepped out of the Alpha’s office and stood on the top floor of the pack house. He looked below and saw that everyone was gathered and next to him was Ezra who had arrived a bit earlier than the girls and made his way to the alpha’s office because he knew no one down there. And the elder, Williams. Jenhad aged but as a shifter, he was still strong walking freely without external help.

They could see Kora and Emily walking towards the stairs escorted by Mateo and Levi and the girls tagging along. His presence was able to draw the attention of the ignored pack away from the girl to him.

"Alpha!" The voices of the pack were heard in acknowledgment of the alpha’s presence.

Kora looked up and saw Darren standing there and for a moment the expression on her face changed before returning to the way it a before, blank.

They made their way up the stairs one after the other. Reaching up, Darren had his hand stretched to Kora who took it in hers and stood beside him. Everyone else fell behind them allowing the pack to see them without any hindrances.

Darren had moved his hand to her waist as they stood facing the pack below. Murmurs filled the room which was loud enough to reach the ears of the people standing up the stairs. Darren remained quiet and standing without moving to address them and soon they all went silent realizing that he won’t speak while they were still talking. They knew that if the others could not hear them, he could hear them just fine.

"Good evening everyone," Darren spoke. The whole pack house was quiet with only his voice that could be heard as it echoed through the walls.

"Good evening, Alpha." The pack responded and went quiet again. Though the pack house was a huge manor, it could not contain everyone in the pack and some people stood outside in front of the door or below the balcony closest to where Darren stood.

"Some of you may be wondering why I called you all here while some of you may have come up with different theories, both right and ones alike," he said and looked at the people again. His gaze was piercing and his demeanor cool. His tone carried a force that made them clamp their mouths shut and just listened to him.

"I won’t waste precious time by beating around the bushes." He said. His gaze met with many of his pack members before he continued. "As you all know, I have been away for a few days, and during that time...." He lauded again this time looking at Kora as if asking her if he should continue. Kora gave him a silent nod before he looked back at the pack. "....I found my mate, Your Luna, Kora, from the Blood Moon pack." He looked at Kora again directing them to her.

The pack shifted its attention to the girl in his arms and murmurs erupted once again. "Alpha, Is she the one next to you?" One of the pack members asked. Just to be sure of whom they were looking at because two girls came with him.

Hearing the news of having a Luna, those outside tried to look through the other to take a peek at her and those that were behind that. couldn’t get a clear view craned their necks to see her. Seeing her colored eyes they knew recognized her.

"Yes, she is," Darren replied.

Williams who stood behind Darren Kora stepped forward, with a bow of his head, he greeted, "Welcome, Luna." his voice was heard by everyone else.

Following his lead, the pack bowed their heads and said in unison, "Welcome, Luna."

Their voices shot through the air. Kora took a step forward and offered a small bit before standing straight.

"Your Luna was not the only one found during our trip away, neet your Gamma female, Emily, also from the Blood Moon to pack," Darren said taking the opportunity to introduce Emily to the pack.

Emily came forward to the pack and offered to bow to them. They returned her bow before she stepped aside. Elder Williams stepped forward once again and spoke to the pack.

"The elder’s council will be here tomorrow to hold a meeting and pick a date for the Supreme Luna to be marked and as well as be marked by the alpha," Williams said and turned to face Kora, "Would. Like to say something, Luna?" He asked.

Kora turned to look at where Ezra was standing, he gave her an encouraging smile and a nod. She then looked at Emily who only smiled at her. N. She turned to look at Darren, but he started back at her without speaking or nodding, he just stared into her eyes.

Kora looked away from him and gave a nod to Elder Williams who then said, "The Luna would like to speak to us." Saying that, stepped aside for Kora to stroll forward.

Kora looked at the pack, meeting the eyes of many of them. Her gaze was sharp and focused and her face was expressionless. "It is a privilege to you all and to be called your luna." Kora began but as she spoke, her voice started to change a bit and Darren was quick to pick up on it. The other voice was also familiar, he could not forget the voice of the wolf that spoke to him. Remembering that he knew Gaia was awake.

"I looked forward to working and living with you all as one united pack," Kora spoke and this time, everyone could hear the two different voices speaking at the same in one person.

They became confused and somehow scared of what she might be. The aura that was coming from Kora had become stronger and her eyes looked even brighter than before. Where one was completely red and the other completely green.

Emily, Ezra, Mateo, and Levi were also hearing the second voice for the first time and looked at Kora in surprise. But they were not as surprised as the others because they already knew that Kora’s wolf could talk.

"But remember, don’t test my limits," Kora said and stopped. She stood where she was and looked at the faces below gaping at her.

Emily and Ezra tried mit yo laugh at her words because something like that from her was very expected. It would have been unexpected if she did not say something like that.

While everyone was still dazed because of her last words, Darren walked over to Kora, "Gaia." He called her name. Kora turned and looked at him and he smiled at her. He stated into her red and green eyes, "It is nice to see you again."
