Chapter 2436: Chapter 2436: The Little Tagalong Is Born

Eventually, Butler Santana still took away the crying Little Clementine.

Jasmine Yale sat on the bed in the bedroom, took a big sip of warm water, her eyes were silently glistening, remaining calm and unruffled.

Next door, Little Clementine’s crying was loud, and she couldn’t sleep.

Since becoming a mother, her baby only needed a slight disturbance for her to wake up.

She didn’t pull back the curtains but quietly turned off the light.

The breeze was gentle, the moon bright, the Changing Light peaceful.

...

A few days before New Year’s Eve, Jasmine Yale and Butler Santana took Little Clementine out for New Year’s shopping.

This was Little Clementine’s first outing, brimming with joy, constantly sticking her little head out from the stroller, turning her big eyes to look around.

Jasmine was worried she might catch cold, so she wrapped her up tightly.

Little Clementine was moving around, not resting for a moment.

"Little Clementine, be good, we’re going to buy new clothes." Jasmine crouched and smiled at her.

The little fellow was quite obedient; she was overjoyed to be out playing.

Jasmine indeed took her to a children’s clothing store to look at new clothes.

"This little cow outfit looks good, let’s go with this one." Jasmine picked out a little jacket.

Butler Santana also thought it looked nice.

Little Clementine was very happy, as if she knew she was getting new clothes.

"Madam, this one is 99 US Dollars."

"Okay, hold on." Jasmine took out her card and handed it to the cashier.

Just as the cashier was about to take Jasmine’s bank card, suddenly, a pair of fair arms appeared in front with an arrogant attitude, exuding a cold air.

Jasmine looked up, it turned out to be Erin Janus.

Long time no see, she really was difficult to get rid of.

Although it was winter, Erin was not wearing much, a form-fitting white sweater dress, with a leopard print fur coat outside, adorned with jewelry, fragrance overwhelming.

Jasmine stared at her for a while.

She hadn’t seen her for a while and Erin’s complexion was quite good.

There was a submissive male assistant behind her, helping to carry her things.

Erin glanced at Jasmine, then at Butler Santana, before finally fixing her gaze on Little Clementine in the stroller.

Little Clementine was playing by herself, head down, gnawing on a little whale toy.

Erin didn’t retract her arms but tapped her chin, glanced at the cashier: "Don’t sell to her."

The cashier looked troubled, didn’t dare say anything.

Jasmine frowned: "Can’t I even buy something? Erin, don’t act so overbearing."

"I am acting overbearing, so what? This mall is owned by my family; when I say don’t sell to you, none of them would dare say a word."

"Your family’s? I didn’t know it was owned by your family; if I did, I wouldn’t have come. There are so many malls in UT, if you have the ability, buy them all, though you don’t have that ability."

With that, Jasmine put away her credit card and was about to leave.

Erin gave Jasmine a lukewarm glance: "Your empty words don’t affect me much, look at you, so shabby, can’t even afford a new coat for yourself? The one you have on, I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve seen it."

"Butler Santana, let’s go."

Jasmine pushed the stroller, expressionless.

"Your little burden is born, huh? Doesn’t look very bright, only knows how to chew on toys." Erin leaned against the cashier counter, arms folded, "Have you found a bargain dad for her? You wouldn’t be picky, would you? I know a few widowers."
