Chapter 2421: Chapter 2421: The New Year Has Arrived
Nighttime, very quiet, even the sound of a pin dropping could be heard.
An hour passed with no movement at all.
Butler Santana waited anxiously and painfully, feeling like there was a claw scratching at his heart.
He didn’t know what was happening.
Mrs. Kimberley also came out to have a look and comforted him, "Auntie, don’t worry, everything will go smoothly. It’s only been an hour. When I had little pudding, it took almost ten hours! Auntie, you should go back to the room and wait, if anything happens, someone will call you. Our room isn’t far from the delivery room."
"It’s okay, I’ll stay with her, otherwise I can’t rest in my heart. I always feel for her, and at such a time, I want to be with her." Butler Santana said with concern, looking at the delivery room door.

The corridor was silent.

This little one sure knew how to choose the time.

Every time he looked up, waiting, all he saw was the tightly closed door.
For the first time, Butler Santana felt waiting was so tormenting. He would frequently check the time and stand up to walk around.
But, he still couldn’t pass this long night.
Butler Santana sat on the bench, drifting off.
He didn’t know when suddenly, "Dong," pulled him from his light sleep.
The sound came from the church bell in the distance.
One sound after another.
Heavy and solemn, the bell rang.
Butler Santana shivered and glanced at the time, only to find it was exactly midnight, meaning New Year’s Day had arrived.
A new year had begun.
Butler Santana walked to the window. Accompanied by the bell’s ringing were colorful fireworks, flying all over the sky, grand and ceremonious.
She didn’t know the source of the fireworks, but as she looked up at them, her heart warmed.
New Year.
Another year.
New Year’s Day was also a very significant holiday, with fireworks continuously being set off outside, turning night into day.
Butler Santana knew Jasmine Yale liked watching fireworks, but at this moment, with such a grand display, she was in the delivery room.
Butler Santana’s heart was hanging tight, at a loss.
He didn’t know if the little one would arrive today.
He didn’t have much feeling for the fireworks, only thought they were beautiful, and if Jasmine Yale were here, she would certainly watch happily.
The fireworks outside continued for a long time without stopping, coloring the sky, bringing warmth to the bleak winter and added warmth to the chilly hospital.
About half an hour later, the delivery room door suddenly opened.
A nurse came out again and had Butler Santana sign a statement.
Butler Santana frowned, his hands trembling slightly, as he roughly scanned the document.
"What is this..." he asked in confusion.
"The mother is not doing well, there is a possibility of massive bleeding at any time. This agreement is for the hospital’s medication and blood transfusion protocol. If needed, the family won’t be notified again."
