Chapter 2415: Chapter 2415: Gave Birth to Four Children
Two young, ordinary women occasionally have disputes over trivial matters, but soon they reconcile.
Jasmine Yale smiled.
Actually, she thought, if she hadn’t been with Sylvan Cheney back then, but married an ordinary man, she might be just like them.
There was a sense of melancholy in Jasmine Yale’s heart, but more so a feeling of helplessness and confusion.
The feeling in her heart was waning, bland, and quiet.
She became very lazy, too lazy to get out of bed, too lazy to speak, even unwilling to watch TV.
When they chatted, she mostly just listened.
Throughout the day, she met Mrs. Connor’s husband as well as Mrs. Kimberley’s husband.
Mrs. Connor is a bit irritable, but straightforward, while Mrs. Kimberley is more gentle.
Mrs. Connor ate some fruit and then picked up a newspaper to show Mrs. Kimberley: "Look at this young model, what a pity. She got involved with the son of Kong Hong’s richest man at eighteen and quit entertainment afterwards. Now, at twenty-eight, having had four children, the tycoon still doesn’t acknowledge her, she still has no status, what a shame. The model was photographed yesterday after breaking up, the children belong to the tycoon’s family."
Mrs. Kimberley said: "Rich families are heartless, but this young model must have gotten a substantial breakup fee?"
"Yeah, four hundred million with several villas."
"Tsk-tsk, but her prime years are wasted. She had four children, was she just a tool for childbirth to that family?"
"Rich families, the more children the better, heard three of them are sons!"
"What about the tycoon’s son? No feelings for her?"
"Rich families don’t talk about feelings, it’s said they parted amicably, now this model has a boyfriend, that man also has a new love."
"Seems like the model isn’t losing out."
Jasmine Yale got out of bed, poured a glass of plain water, and stood quietly by the window watching the sky and clouds outside.
The two ladies were discussing enthusiastically, Jasmine Yale just listened and didn’t participate.
Mrs. Kimberley glanced at Jasmine Yale’s back and said: "Mrs. Yale, why not chat with us? You’ve barely said a few words all day, that’s not good for the baby, pregnant women need a good mood."
Jasmine Yale turned her head and smiled: "Maybe I’m a bit tired today."
"There are several indoor areas in the hospital where you can walk around, you might need more exercise, that way you won’t be tired."
"Okay." Jasmine Yale knew they meant well.
It was warm indoors.
Jasmine Yale lifted her hand, gently placing her palm on the glass, she silently gazed outside, watching the people coming and going downstairs.
The hospital is one of her least favorite places because it’s a place filled with sorrow.
Jasmine Yale watched the people hurriedly moving downstairs, her eyes were filled with a blank gaze.
No sorrow, no joy, like a rag doll.
In the evening, the husbands of Mrs. Connor and Mrs. Kimberley came, taking their wives out for a walk.
The room suddenly became quiet.
The sky darkened, the sunset glow spread across the window glass, also casting on Jasmine Yale.
Her fair face was tinged with a pale golden hue, resembling a fragile porcelain.
Even with the door closed, she could still hear Mrs. Connor’s hearty laughter and her coquettish voice to her husband, while Mrs. Kimberley would tease her a bit.
