Chapter 2326: Chapter 2326: Mindful of Her Pregnancy

She snuggled into his arms with a look of pure contentment.

When it came to these matters, he never let her down, always giving her immense satisfaction.

"Sleep early? Hmm? Are you tired?" Sylvan Cheney gently stroked her jet-black hair.

"Aren’t you tired? You should sleep early too, you have to go to the office tomorrow!"

"I actually don’t feel tired." Sylvan whispered softly in her ear, "You sleep early, I’ll watch you as you do."

Jasmine Yale yawned. She was tired, so she wrapped her arms around his neck, pressing her little face to his chest, hugging him as she peacefully drifted off to sleep.

Sylvan Cheney tenderly caressed her back.

The fact that she was willing to give herself to him showed that she loved him.

She had promised him that in the future, in her heart, there would only be him.

That was enough for him; he didn’t desire the past because, after all, he met her too late.

In just a few minutes, Jasmine Yale fell asleep soundly, nestled in Sylvan Cheney’s arms.

Sylvan couldn’t fall asleep; he felt like smoking.

To suppress the desire to smoke, he reached for the notes she had just written on the table, marking the mistakes with circles and dots.

Jasmine Yale’s loose hair tickled him, and if he didn’t consider she was pregnant, one time wouldn’t have sufficed today.

Jasmine Yale must indeed be tired, as she lay still, barely reacting even when he bent down to kiss her.

While she was asleep, he took advantage of the situation a little.

After handling some work, it was a while before Sylvan Cheney turned off the light and cuddled her to sleep.

...

The next day.

The morning light spilled across the floor.

Sylvan Cheney got dressed and was about to leave a note for Jasmine Yale when she stirred and woke up.

"The baby is so restless." She muttered, pouting her lips, with one hand on her belly.

It had woken her up again.

"Hmm?" Sylvan fastened the buttons on his shirt, walked to the bedside, and bent over, placing one hand on her stomach.

Sure enough, the little one was moving.

His palm tingled with a wonderful sensation spreading throughout his body.

Sylvan Cheney leaned down and kissed her belly.

It made Jasmine Yale giggle as it tickled her: "Alright, stop kissing, you might scare the little one." 𝕗𝚛𝚎𝚎𝐰𝗲𝗯𝗻𝚘𝚟𝚎𝗹.𝕔𝐨𝕞

"Isn’t it good for him to feel his father’s love?" Sylvan raised an eyebrow.

"Strange Uncle."

"Hmm? Who are you talking about?" Sylvan tickled her.

Jasmine Yale pleaded: "Stop it, stop it, you should hurry to work, being late isn’t good."

"Alright, I’ll make you breakfast, make sure to eat and don’t be lazy." Sylvan stood up and stopped teasing her.

"Okay." She beckoned, "Let me help you with your tie."

Sylvan didn’t hesitate and handed her the tie she had bought earlier, bending down himself.

Jasmine Yale sat up and carefully tied his tie, straightening his collar and looking at him with sheer delight.

Sylvan Cheney was satisfied too, cupping her face and giving her a kiss: "Good morning."

"Mm, good morning." Jasmine Yale smiled softly, her eyes full of love.

After he left, Jasmine Yale went back to sleep for a while.

His scent lingered on the pillow, a fragrance that reassured her.

It was perhaps the scent of him being alive, still loving her, still flirting, still making her happy, allowing her to truly feel him.

Sunlight filled the apartment, golden light streaming through every crevice, a vibrant hue brimming with beauty, spreading everywhere.

The sky was exceptionally blue.
