Chapter 2315: Chapter 2315: Is He Mr. Cheney?

In the kitchen, Butler Santana remained in a daze, his mind still a blank.

His fingers were scalded by boiling water, and he felt entirely disoriented.

After a while, he finally took the tea to the living room.

"Miss Yale, Mr. Evan, come and sit in the living room."

Upon hearing Butler Santana’s voice, Jasmine Yale pushed Sylvan Cheney’s hand away and held his arm: "Let’s go; my aunt has brewed the tea."

"Hmm."

As Butler Santana looked up, he saw Sylvan Cheney walk out of the bedroom.

Still impeccably handsome, mature and reserved, with a cold, noble aura on his sculpted, deep features, yet the tenderness in his eyes when he looked at Jasmine Yale was unmistakable.

In his daze, Butler Santana stared at Sylvan Cheney for quite some time.

"Miss Yale bought the Pu’er tea, Mr. Evan, please try it." Butler Santana handed him a cup of hot tea.

"Thank you." Sylvan Cheney took it, "I’ve heard Jasmine always say that you have taken great care of her, and in the future, I will take care of Jasmine together with you."

"It’s not easy for Miss Yale to be pregnant alone, you... please be understanding." Butler Santana said.

"I know, that’s why I want to take her to my place, I will take good care of her."

"Do as you see fit." Butler Santana remained respectful toward Sylvan Cheney.

"Butler Santana, do we still have any of the pastries I made this morning? Please come with me to find them." Jasmine Yale changed the topic.

"Alright, alright."

Jasmine Yale knew that Butler Santana had questions in his mind, so she took him to the closed kitchen.

"Miss Yale, is he... is he Mr. Cheney? He looks so much like Mr. Cheney."

"He is, he remembers nothing now. He fell into the river at the time, hit his head on the rocks, and got injured."

"Ah..." Butler Santana covered his mouth in disbelief, his face full of incredulity.

It really is Mr. Cheney...

Jasmine Yale told Butler Santana everything about meeting Sylvan Cheney, his confession to her, and all that had happened in the past few months.

Her voice was very soft, without too much regret or melancholy, rather there was more calm.

Through the conversation, Butler Santana did not interrupt, but he was too shocked to say anything.

"Butler Santana, after I have the baby, I will take him for a walk to the Cheney Residence. To be honest, I secretly wish I could just stay with him like this forever..." Jasmine Yale said wistfully, her eyes revealing an indescribable glimmer.

"Miss Yale, I understand."

"Perhaps I’m being selfish. Right now, each day, each moment feels like it’s borrowed, I really enjoy this. I’m afraid that once he remembers everything, he’ll recall those unbearable past events from over twenty years ago. I truly don’t know if he can let go..." Jasmine Yale said intermittently, "So... let me be selfish for a few more months, I want to have the baby safely."

"Butler Santana, sometimes I don’t know what to do either. He forgot everything, forgot the eighteen years we shared together. Erin Janus saved his life, and often I feel conflicted too. His personality has changed greatly, perhaps because he has no pressure, and I don’t know how to explain it to you either. Please chat with him, you’ll sense he has changed."

"Miss Yale, I understand everything, I understand you. You’re about to have the baby, don’t worry, let him take care of you, don’t have any psychological burden."

Butler Santana realized what was going on.

This was a situation she hadn’t anticipated either.

What surprised her most was that Mr. Cheney still liked Miss Yale in this way.
