Received a call from Second Senior Sister after work, saying she was waiting downstairs. Xie Wanying thudded down the stairs, her figure darting out of the iron gate behind the Beidu Third Hospital Hospital Department.
"Yingying." Inside a white car, He Xiangyu, sitting in the driver’s seat, waved vigorously at her like a lucky cat.
It was Second Senior Sister. Xie Wanying quickly walked over and opened the back door.
Her younger brother and her cousin Xiao Duoduo were sitting in the back.
"Sis." Xie Youtian made room for his sister.
"It’s okay, I’ll sit in the front." Xie Wanying said as she closed the door, leaving the spacious back seat for the kids to continue their antics.
"Sis—" Xie Youtian actually wanted to swap places with his sister. He didn’t want to sit with the kids. He’s not a kid anymore; he’s in middle school now.
Feeling rejected by her little uncle, Xiao Duoduo furrowed her little brows, glanced sideways at her little uncle, and said, "Uncle, you’re not even as tall as my classmates."
Xie Youtian’s face immediately turned deep blue, and he pressed down his angry voice, "Just you wait, in another year, I’ll definitely be so tall you can’t imagine reaching me. The brothers said I would grow taller, my sister is very tall."
"One, year, later, we’ll, see." Xiao Duoduo, imitating a character from a TV series, pouted as she said this.
Listening to the two kids in the back, He Xiangyu was amused. Being the youngest in her family, with no younger siblings, Junior Yingying’s brother and little cousin made her feel that today’s kids are not to be underestimated.
"Second Senior Sister, thank you for your hard work." Xie Wanying also thought that being able to take two little ones out for a playdate all afternoon without losing her cool was quite impressive.

Understood, He Xiangyu drove towards Guo Zhi first.
They arrived at Guo Zhi at six-thirty. Those who needed to clock out had already done so.
Shim Youhuan called to say they could meet in the emergency room, no need to go upstairs. Not sure what was going on, Xie Wanying and the others followed their senior brother’s instructions to Guozhi Emergency.
The emergency department, as always, was busy around the clock. The comings and goings of medical staff and patients alongside their families played out scenes of human joys and sorrows.

Senior Brother Shim’s voice didn’t come from within the emergency department this time.
Xie Wanying and the others turned back and saw Shim Youhuan walking back from the hospital entrance.
Senior Brother Shim was dressed in a thick suit, evidently just back from attending some academic meeting outside.
"The medical report is in Director Zhang’s office; he called me to notify you." Shim Youhuan spoke as he prepared to lead his junior inside to find Zhang Huayao.
Why was her cousin’s medical report in Boss Zhang’s hands? Xie Wanying’s heart started to race.
"Hello, everyone." Shim Youhuan greeted the two kids and the other junior sister beside her.
The two kids, upon seeing him, instinctively hunched their shoulders. Despite his smiling face, Xie Youtian knew this older brother was a troublemaker.
