Chapter 525: Cave
"How are you?" The double asked, his voice and hands trembling as he reached for Zhen Yuan’s arm.
"Don’t worry. It looks worse than it is." Zhen Yuan comforted but Shen Xu was not having it.
With a worried face, he examined Zhen Yuan’s arm and didn’t stop until he saw that the corrosive sap had already been neutralised.
While Zhen Yuan was fighting the Green Rot Tree, Shen Xu found a chance to collect the blood iris flower.
After that, he made an antidote liquid for fear of the corrosive sap. Unexpectedly, he had just finished making it when he was forced to use it.
"I practice the void body technique so I only lost a small layer of skin. It’s not serious." Zhen Yuan said but Shen Xu sneered.
"It’s not serious for others but how long will you have to suffer before your skin grows back?" He asked and Zhen Yuan fell silent because he didn’t have an answer to that.
Seeing the man’s silence, Shen Xu sighed and hugged the person.
"I don’t like it when you are injured." He said and Zhen Yuan nodded.
"I know." He said.
After hugging for a long time, the two separated and Shen Xu began collecting materials from the Green Rot Tree.
When that was done, the two left the area and continued west.
"Are you sure you don’t want to rest?" Shen Xu asked and Zhen Yuan shook his head.
"It’s not like my skin will grow faster if I rest." He said.
"What about your qi and soul power?" The double asked.
"I still have a lot." Zhen Yuan said and quickly continued.
"I want to see how long I can last without replenishing." He said and Shen Xu nodded in understanding.
Because they had advanced too fast, they didn’t have a good grasp on their strength and didn’t know how effective their qi was.
Since they were in a monster forest, Zhen Yuan and Shen Xu wanted to take the chance to test their limits and control their power.
Three years passed in the blink of an eye.
During that time, Shen Xu and Zhen Yuan fought hundreds of demon plants and immortal monsters.
On the flip side, they collected many resources including immortal grasses, ores, immortal fruits, monster parts, and other things.

"That is monster repelling grass." He stated and Zhen Yuan nodded.
Monster repelling grass was an extremely rare immortal grass that monsters; regardless of their cultivation or bloodline, couldn’t stand.
"No wonder we haven’t encountered a Monster within one hundred metres of this cave." Shen Xu said and Zhen Yuan nodded.
"My spiritual sense hasn’t detected anything strange. What about yours?" He asked and Shen Xu shook his head.
"The cave is empty." The double said.
After that, the two held hands and entered the cave.
At a glance, the cave was wide at the entrance and tapered into a narrow tunnel.
"Let’s go." Zhen Yuan said and the two entered the tunnel.
The tunnel was only eighty metres long and opened to a large pool.
"This..." Shen Xu Muttered, looking at the large pool.
The pool had red water but the water was boiling as if a large fire was burning under the pool.
"What is this?" Shen Xu asked.
"It’s the treasure." Zhen Yuan said.
At the same time, he summoned a book from the space library and flipped the pages to almost half way.
"Look at this." He said, stretching his arms for the double to see the book.
"Boiling blood pool." Shen Xu said and began reading the introduction.
From the book, Shen Xu learned that boiling blood pools were originally ordinary immortal water springs.
However, in the ancient wars, many gods and demons got injured and some of their blood fell to the immortal realm.
As a result, these drops of blood formed treasures depending on the surroundings that they dell into.
If a drop fell into an immortal water spring, the spring would transform and the boiling blood pool was one of the ways that the spring could change.
"This boiling blood pool is a body cultivation treasure." Shen Xu said and Zhen Yuan nodded.
"It is but you mustn’t forget that it contains divine blood. We will refine our bodies if we are lucky but if we are not, we will be melted into nothing or face other dangers." He warned and Shen Xu nodded in understanding.
"I know but I don’t want to give up this opportunity." He said.
"I also don’t want to give it up." Zhen Yuan said and suddenly frowned with a thoughtful expression.
"Let’s move it to the space." He said and Shen Xu raised an eyebrow.
"How do we move it?" He asked.
After all, the water was boiling and although he couldn’t sense the heat yet, Shen Xu knew that it’s temperature was beyond what his gourds could handle.
"I have an idea." Zhen Yuan said and smiled.
