A few weeks later.

Tian Yongheng and his disciples finally arrived at the Heavenly Region.

As the huge flying ship flew past the plains of the Heavenly Region, a great mountain range with 10 summits, 9 at least a hundred thousand feet tall and the 10th dwarfing all of the others, appeared before their eyes.

"So this is the famed Kunlun Divine Mountain...the greatest power in the world since ancient times!"

Jian Qi exclaimed, his tone of voice mixed with a sense of excitement.

"It’s majestic, truly."

Tian Yongheng nodded in agreement, while Yan Jingfei just stared at it in a daze.

It’s been quite a while since I’ve been here...

She thought silently.

In her past life, as an Immortal Ascension Realm cultivator, there was no place she couldn’t venture into back then, even the major factions, with the only exception being the territory of Kunlun Divine Mountain.

It was because only Kunlun was the place where an Immortal Ascension Realm cultivator wasn’t seen as a great being simply because of too many of them residing in it.

The number of Immortal Ascension Realm mighty figures in Kunlun surpassed that of even the Great Jiang Immortal Dynasty!

She had only been to Kunlun 3 or 4 times in her entire life, and even then, she never managed to meet any of the 8 Summit Leaders, or the Kunlun Saint, who was none other than the Divinity Transcendence Venerable Wang Daoyun at that point in time, not to mention the Saint Master, who was currently the Kunlun Saint.

She once even suspected that the Divinity Transcendence Venerable had long since ascended to immortality because of his lack of public appearances for tens of thousands of years, but was never able to confirm the authenticity of her theory.

Now, after coming to Kunlun after so long in an entirely different timeline, it for sure felt unimaginable yet thrilling.

Tian Yongheng, on the other hand, had completely different thoughts about this whole situation.

So this is the core of the true world of Immortal Cultivation, a holy land among holy lands, the place considered one of the most sacred abodes of celestial beings even back on earth...

Kunlun Divine Mountain.

I wonder if the 10 Summits of Kunlun hold a special meaning? Or are they just there for the sake of it?

In the myths of my past life, the Eight Immortals who created the Immortal Slaying Sword Formation resided on Kunlun Divine Mountain alongside the Queen Mother of the West. Thus, there were a total of Nine Summits on Kunlun.

However, what about the Tenth Summit which is here in the cultivation world? If the myths are true, then there must be a connection of the original owner of the Tenth Summit to them as well.

As he was thinking of this, a sudden thought appeared in his mind.

Could it be...the original founding deity of Kunlun?

There’s a high chance that my guess is true, but I still can’t be sure about it. Perhaps I can find some clues related to this in Kunlun.

For now, I should remain calm and prepare myself to face the leaders of the major factions, as well as the ultimate beings of the righteous path.

The flying ship sailed past the plains as it finally arrived before the towering mountains, looking so insignificant in front of the majestic view shrouded in a ethereal fog, mysterious and otherworldly.

An invisible formation was activated as soon as the flying ship crossed a certain point, and before long, two cultivators from Kunlun, both in the Nascent Soul Realm, arrived in front of the flying ship.

They were stunned for a moment as their gazes landed on Tian Yongheng before quickly lowering it and coming back to reality.

Both of them cupped their fists as they stood midair, one of them speaking out, "Fellow daoist, may I know your identity and the faction you come from?"

Hearing his words, just as Tian Yongheng was about to answer, Yan Jingfei went forward and cupped her fists as she said out loud, "We’re from the Eternal Peak, this is my junior brother and this here is our master, the Master of Eternal Peak, also known as The Eternal Lord."

Her words were as clear as they were loud, and as soon as she finished speaking, countless Divine Senses from all directions locked onto the flying ship, stopping right before they could probe further into Tian Yongheng’s cultivation as they all disappeared in an instant, as quickly as they had arrived.

That was to not appear rude and offend someone the owners of the Divine Senses couldn’t afford to offend by probing into their cultivation.

This was Kunlun Divine Mountain, and even when Tian Yongheng and the others weren’t even in a range of ten thousand miles of the main mountain range, there were many Immortal Ascension Realm and even Half Immortal Realm cultivators who’s Divine Senses could reach this far!

Hearing Yan Jingfei’s words, the two cultivators’ faces instantly turned pale as both of them bowed before calling out in unison.

"We greet the esteemed guest from afar!"

Tian Yongheng side-eyed Yan Jingfei as a trace of his Spiritual Energy swept over, lifting the two cultivators up.

"The guest must be tired, having traveled for so long, please come in with me and I’ll show you to your temporary abode within Kunlun!"

The cultivator who had firstly spoken before said with a much greater enthusiasm and a tone full of respect, as if he was a completely different person.

Damn it, we were send here because this flying ship seemed to be only made by a Nascent Soul Realm cultivator...who expected the Eternal Lord and his disciples to arrive in a Nascent Soul Realm flying ship? No wonder he had such an otherworldly demeanor and extraordinary appearance, I should’ve noticed it from that!

He thought to himself as he cursed inwardly, blaming himself for failing to notice the extraordinary identity of the Eternal Lord.

The reason behind his reaction was simple.

The Eternal Peak had become a widely reputable faction in the world, specially after the success of the Supreme Archer, the Great General of the Demon Subjugation Heavenly Alliance who was a Personal Disciple for the Eternal Lord.

There was no other Eternal Peak in the world aside from the one in the Qingyun Region of the State of Feng in the Eastern Continent, so it was easy to figure out how great of an influence this rising power had.

The Eternal Lord’s cultivation base was speculated to be at least the Tribulation Transcendence Realm, with many believing it was way higher than that, including multiple leading figures of the major factions.

The point wasn’t his cultivation base, but the mysteries surrounding his origins and identity.

He was suspected to be the reincarnation of an ancient mighty figure, perhaps someone of the previous era even, which was what made him a feared existence among the top tiers of the world.

The two cultivators led the flying ship towards the main mountain range, at the center of the Nine Summits and right below the Tenth Summit, where the main city of Kunlun, the Heavenly Immortal City, is located.

When they reached the sky above the core of the Heavenly Immortal City, Tian Yongheng directly took the flying ship and placed it inside of the system space.

Soon, all of them landed in the midst of the city’s core area, the Spirit Qi in this place probably the purest Tian Yongheng had ever felt, much more so even than his own cave abode back at the Eternal Peak.

This reminded him that his Dao Field had indeed not reached the level of Kunlun Divine Mountain just yet, and it would take him another major breakthrough to reach that level.

The moment he stepped on the ground, he once again felt countless Divine Senses sweep past him, some even trying to pry into his cultivation base this time but failing to do so ultimately because they were weaker than him even if they had greater cultivation.

The core area of the Heavenly Immortal City was only for the guests of the highest level, such as those who were either from any of the major factions or were the leaders of first rate factions, thus, all cultivators here could be considered the topmost force of the entirety of righteous path, all powerhouses in their own right.

"Senior, this way please."

The cultivator from Kunlun who had received them called out, leading the way towards a mansion located not far away.

Each of the houses, mansions, grotto heavens and cave abodes in the Heavenly Immortal City were isolated by a kind of Array Formation due to which nothing happening inside could be notices on the outside, making them a safe place to stay or cultivate even with the natural Spirit Qi around the city.

Tian Yongheng just ignored all the Divine Senses hovering around him and went forward with his disciples, reaching the entrance of the mansion.

After getting a few more instructions from the cultivator, the latter went off while his disciples entered the mansion as he just stood in place, as if waiting for something.

He slowly turned around, and what entered his vision was an old man with long white hair and beard, a friendly smile on his face.
