Chapter 1835: Chapter 1834 - Aether Child Begin

Lind was supremely grateful he was in a sped up time flow. A billion years had passed in the new Immortal World but only some manifested animals had arrived.

A ring of energy had slowly condensed around the lowest quality layer and he knew what he was seeing. Heaven Realm Lands.

Just like in his old home, it was a place that surrounded the lowest layer of the Immortal World.

It had a dramatic increase in beasts at that time but that was all. They were just mortals while some more exotic races were in the first layer of the Immortal World. Beyond the 2nd layer, nothing manifested.

That told him that the Shard Tier was the cut off in quality. He was curious how long an Immortal could last in any layer with such an odd distribution.

The Sliver and Shard Tier had shared the 1st layer in his old world but he suspected a Sliver Tier would have to reach the 2nd layer to advance in the world before him.

Still, that was a long way off it seemed.

What came next shocked him. A storm of lightning and black clouds appeared all around the Heaven Realm Lands. He had never seen that before!

The Mortal Realms were not born randomly but all at once! A moving cloud seemed to appear with nodes of all sizes seeming to vie for space near the Heaven Realm Lands!

Once all that settled, a kind of wave passed over everything. The beasts, still simple animals, changed. They finally seemed to focus on cultivation.

Lind was confused but he just barely was able to extend his senses to one of the mortal realms.

He saw an oceanic world with many island chains and a few larger islands. He roughly estimated it was half the size of his old mortal realm, but he saw there were no floating continents or islands.

Instead, he saw strands of energy at certain points. They were ascension pools?! He checked others and saw they were in the same state.

Sky Realms would ascend to the Heaven Realm Lands? It confused him but what came next pushed all that away.

Beasts were manifesting on land and in the water but so were aether children! A huge amount of them! He had never ever heard of that!

An idea suddenly came to him and he began to laugh.

All those humans and demons that treated aether children as lesser and they were the beginning!

He felt a sharp spike of power much closer and he assumed what he was about to see. He shifted his aura and nodded firmly at what he saw in the 3rd layer.

Golden skinned, impossibly beautiful figures appeared. They had the wisdom to understand what they were and what they had to do. Lind wanted to save them time but he could not interact.

The restriction on him was harsh. His aura was regulated to pure vision only, he could not hear a thing!

Still, there were very few of them, maybe a few hundred and no more. Compared to the aether children, they were a drop in the ocean!

Lind then watched as humans were born from the aether children and spread across the lands. He sighed as the old crimes occurred and eventually, demonic energies made the first demons appear.

Elementals began to appear in the second layer after another billion years passed for Lind. By his reckoning, the flow of time was different from before at that point. Before, a million years for him was a year outside, he was betting it had shifted more in his favor.

Thousands of years had to pass before any progress appeared. He had seen wars, suffering, and all kinds of events.

The Immortal World was relatively empty compared to the lower worlds. He did notice the quality of cultivators was insanely high, though. Immortals began to appear only 500 years after the aether children manifested.

That kind of cultivation speed on such a scale was only matched by the era of the Final Fiend War.

He was still seeing massive numbers of aether children appear until the populations of humans and demons spread enough to send lower realm cultivators to claim mortal worlds.

Still, the suppression of that race was not occurring save in the older worlds. Aether children blazed the path as they were natural cultivators from birth.

Only special physiques and beasts could keep up with them.

[Divine Lord?] She woke up and realized she was towering over him as she quickly transformed.

"How do you feel?" She checked herself over and seemed surprised by her condition.

"Things did not go according to pla–" She froze as she truly took in his condition. His once aged features were gone! He smiled as she quickly examined him from head to toe before she blushed and pulled back.

"How?! How are you younger?" Lind realized his hopes for answers were not coming from her. Rather than ponder that, he explained all that had happened.

The fact he repaired his Time Layer shocked her even more. When he explained the flow of vitality came from the process of forming the world, she still had no idea. Apparently that had never happened before.

Further, it was far more likely for the process to drain vitality.

He moved on and then explained what he had observed. The timescale he gave did not seem to surprise her. Apparently, new worlds had an almost accelerated development at first before things settled down.

She was actually smug when he spoke about the aether children.

"Where do you think the races could come from otherwise? Humans and demons do not just drop out of the sky!" He rolled his eyes at her and pushed on. When he spoke of the Celestials, she actually paused and joined him in looking at the world.

She shivered as something happened as she repeated his action of looking at the world.

"What–what is this?!" Lind was confused. He glanced down and noticed Crystal Tiers had appeared in the beast races. That was hardly surprising but he was surprised that the Celestials had increased to a few thousand while he had spoken to her.

"I admit it is different from the worlds I have heard about but I think I have worked out the rules." She slowly turned to him as her pale hair seemed to merge back into her body. She was bothered by something but he did not know what. "The top layer is for the Sovereign Tiers, obviously but they can descend to the 5th. The Radiant Tier is the same for 4th and 5th layers. The Crystal Tier has the most range as they can appear in the 2nd to 4th layer."

Lind had not seen anyone go that far but the quality of Qi was fairly clear to him. The closer it was to their moon, the easier it was for him to detect things.

He was about to continue when he realized her jaw was open and her eyes had gotten larger as it seemed he had said something that broke her.

"Lord Frey, do you realize what you have birthed?" He tilted his head and she pointed at the current surface visible to their naked eyes.

He looked at it then back at her with a tilt of his head. What was wrong?

"Sovereign Tiers are essentially the supreme power of the Immortal Worlds. Yet, the world you have created will not bend to them!" Lind did not immediately grasp what she was saying.

He then shifted his perspective and felt his own jaw drop.

Dao power! The 6th layer was almost a pseudo Divine Lands!

How was that possible?! No wonder there were 6 layers! The final layer was only for those Sovereign Tiers that could withstand it!

Lind then realized what had happened. He recalled the storm of vitality that slammed into him and remembered he had been repairing his Time Layer! He had been sending out Master Tier power!

It had transformed the primordial foundation of the new world!

He had wanted to avoid causing an issue and instead he had made a world that was likely to draw eyes like flies to a heap!

"Um, what would happen if I continued to heal?" He asked the obvious question but she shook her head.

"Normally I would say nothing as the restrictions around us would protect the world mostly. Something might leak through but it would just become an opportunity for some lucky few. Now, you have an entire layer of a world ripe to absorb whatever you can give!" Lind sighed.

He had to continue. A few thousand years had passed but he felt confident he could finish his last complete layer before looking at what happened in his 9th layer.

He was about to resume cultivating when he summoned Haro and the grass fan. The little girl appeared to yawn but he frowned. Why was she still a child?

He looked at Haro but the spirit merely smiled down at him.

"I was worried she might be adversely affected so I erected my best defenses around her. She has essentially been frozen." Lind nodded as that was not a bad idea. She was nowhere near as powerful as Haro.

"Go play and enjoy. I will be focusing on my last layer." She perked up and the trio moved away as he focused. It was time to get back to his peak!
