Chapter 613: Able To Reach
The World Master remained seated as the screen shifted once more, showing the chaos from a wider perspective.
This time, it was no longer just Clyde moving against the impossible. Other figures began to stir across the ruined city. Their hesitation faded as the realization spread that the creature could be harmed.
Small movements turned into decisive action as the remaining players around the boyy started advancing, each drawn toward the same overwhelming presence in the sky.
The World Master watched in silence.
His expression remained composed, but his eyes stayed sharp as he observed every detail. Despite the unease lingering in his thoughts he chose not to interfere. At least not yet. For now, watching would tell him more than acting.

The battle intensified.
Vulkrath stood like a blazing titan amidst the shattered streets, its molten body radiating immense heat as it continued its relentless assault.
Massive fireballs formed within its maw, each one composed of condensed magma and burning rock before being launched upward with explosive force.
They shot through the air like miniature meteors, crashing into the shifting darkness above and erupting into violent bursts of flame upon impact.
At the same time, Clyde remained suspended high above. His body wrapped in lightning and fire as he moved with precision. Each of his motions carried purpose as he unleashed massive attacks.
Pillars of flame and lightning twisting together as they struck into the body of the false Outer God. Its body fractured repeatedly under his assault, darkness breaking apart in unstable waves.
The creature also retaliated without pause.
Its countless tentacles surged toward him again and again with devastating force. But Clyde met them head-on.
His Demon sword burned as it moved, intercepting each strike with explosive clashes of energy. Fire and lightning burst outward with every collision as he deflected the attacks one after another, never allowing them to reach him.
On the highest remaining structure below, Mina, Sean, and Connor finally reached their limit.
They stood atop the broken edge of the tallest building, their bodies tense as they looked upward. From that vantage point, the scale of the battle became clear, and for a moment, none of them spoke.
Clyde was fighting something that should have been untouchable, yet he held his ground.
Connor let out a long breath, his eyes wide. "That’s... insane."
Sean didn’t respond immediately, his gaze fixed on the clash above. Even he could not hide the awe in his expression.
Then the sky changed again.
The massive body of the false Outer God trembled violently as its form distorted. Its movements slowed for a moment before its enormous mass began to descend. The darkness sank lower as if something within it had been destabilized.
Sean’s eyes sharpened. "It’s dropping... it must be taking too much damage!"
Mina stepped forward slightly, her grip tightening on her daggers as her expression turned focused.
"Then this is our chance. We move now."
Before they could act, another presence reached them.
A figure landed nearby, his steps unsteady but firm.
They turned.
The boy looked ragged, his body marked with blood and exhaustion, yet his eyes burned with fierce and unwavering determination.
He was none other than Ray.
He lifted his sword slightly as he looked toward the sky, then at them.
"I’m joining," he said simply.
For a moment, the four of them stood in silence as their eyes met.
Mina’s gaze narrowed slightly as she studied Ray, her posture tense and ready.
Connor shifted his stance unconsciously, his grip tightening as unease crept into his expression. Sean remained still, but his eyes lingered on Ray longer than necessary, measuring him without a word.
None of them trusted him. Nobody was going to trust someone who just appeared from nowhere and wanted to join their fight.
It was obvious in the way they looked at him, in the slight distance they kept, and in the silence that followed his arrival. Ray knew it all.
But at the same time, none of them rejected him either. The situation had already gone beyond something as simple as trust. They all understood that what stood above them was far more dangerous than any uncertainty between them.
Right now, they need more firepower to land strong attacks at the same monstrosity.
More than anything else, they needed enough force to bring that thing down.
Sean was the first to break the silence.
"Do whatever you want," he said, his voice steady but distant, as if he had already accepted the situation without fully agreeing to it.
Ray stared at him for a second. Then he laughed.
"Hahahahaha."
It wasn’t a normal reaction. The sound came out too casually, too lightly, as if the chaos around them meant nothing at all. There was excitement in it like something sharp and unrestrained that didn’t match the situation they were in.
Connor’s expression stiffened immediately.
Mina’s eyes narrowed further.
Even Sean’s gaze hardened slightly.
In that single moment, all three of them reached the same conclusion without needing to say it aloud. There was something wrong with this young boy.
Ray didn’t seem to care. His grin remained as he lifted his sword slightly, his attention already shifting back toward the sky as if the battle itself was the only thing that mattered in his mind.
Above them, the massive form of the Celestial Abyssal Beast, the fake Outer God, continued to descend.
The shifting darkness grew closer, its overwhelming presence pressing down heavier with each passing second.
The air trembled under its weight as fragments of shadow peeled away from its body, scattering into the sky like falling ash.
Mina’s eyes widened slightly as she stepped closer to the edge.
"I can reach it now!" she shouted.
Connor leaned forward, his gaze locking onto the lowering mass.
"Yeah... it’s close enough!"
Sean didn’t speak this time, but his stance as well shifted as his body prepared to move.
They all felt it. The distance that once made the creature untouchable had closed.
Now, it was within their reach.
