Chapter 419: Chapter 411: Stellar-Class Drifting Ship, Da Yun

In the aftershocks of Grand Fortune’s ascension, the dense fog of the Earth’s Lung vanished as if it were melting snow.

The storm subsided.

The sun, long absent, shone down upon this stretch of sea. An ethereal drifter, looking as though it had sailed out of another world, floated calmly on the surface.

Shi Ming continued to perceive the changes in Grand Fortune.

Especially its three Star-Traits—

[Star-Trait: Supernova!]

This was a Star-Trait that had evolved from "King’s Advent."

When Grand Fortune enters its "Supernova" state, it releases a powerful pulse shockwave. This grants it 100% immunity to all traits from other starships or drifters of the same class. It simultaneously suppresses any drifter of a lower class, instantly stripping them of all functions aside from basic navigation and flotation. It also interferes with drifters of its own class, causing a probabilistic chance of their hull systems crashing!

In short, it was an immunity and control-type trait.

[Star-Trait: Stellar Extinction!]

"Stellar Extinction" evolved from "King’s Judgment."

Grand Fortune enters a "Pulsar" state, gaining temporary invincibility. It then strikes a target with the force of traveling at 24% the speed of light, executing a powerful Great Annihilation Ram!

’Talk about a collision with fortune!’

[Star-Trait: "Cosmic Center!"]

Grand Fortune assumes its position is the center of the universe, and that all things revolve around it.

And as the center of the universe, it naturally possesses many privileges. It can randomly commandeer one Star-Trait from the nearest "Star-Class" drifter for its own use. The power of the trait remains identical, and the original owner temporarily loses access to it.

Three traits: one for offense, one for defense, and one for control!

You could call it a truly all-around drifter!

And if you count its ability to traverse the Dark Cosmos and wormholes as another Star-Trait, then Grand Fortune actually has a fourth one.

Shi Ming named it [Wormhole Shuttle].

Wormhole Shuttle only takes three seconds to transport the entire drifter into the Dark Cosmos.

In the Dark Cosmos, the drifter can easily surpass the speed of light. However, this isn’t purely an advantage. It requires exceptional piloting and control skills. If handled improperly, it becomes extremely difficult to maintain direction. Not only could you end up going completely off course, but you could also easily get lost in the Dark Cosmos.

Wormhole Shuttle can also be used to enter the even more concealed Deep Cosmos.

Within the Deep Cosmos, one can find extremely rare, fixed wormholes. Some are stable, others are not. By passing through them, one can travel to another fixed location in an instant. Even if it encounters an unstable wormhole, Grand Fortune can guarantee a safe exit, avoiding any "traffic accidents."

’Four new functions.’

’Compared to the Dark Star Race’s *Nirvana*, it’s vastly superior.’

Everything becomes clear with a comparison.

When you really compared them,

the *Nirvana* was truly nothing special.

Based on the information recovered from the *Nirvana*, Star-Class drifters were something ordinary civilizations couldn’t build at all. Occasionally, a civilization with a well-developed tech tree might manage to create a manned drifter capable of sailing the Star Sea. Even then, such ships would have one or two Star-Traits at most.

For example, the Dark Star Race had maxed out their tech tree. Yet, even with the combined effort of their entire people, the modified *Nirvana* only possessed two Star-Traits.

Grand Fortune, counting Wormhole Shuttle, had four.

Moreover, two of those Star-Traits were specifically designed to counter other Star-Class drifters. If Grand Fortune were to encounter another Star-Class drifter in the Star Sea, there was no doubt the opponent would be at an absolute disadvantage.

First, he could use "Cosmic Center" to plunder the opponent’s Star-Trait.

Then, activate "Supernova" to interfere with their ship’s functions.

And finally, unleash "Stellar Extinction" to deliver a massive celestial collision.

If he ever encountered extremely powerful Old Dengs or Pseudo-Gods and needed to avoid a direct confrontation or make a strategic retreat, he could also use "Wormhole Shuttle" to escape.

Victory.

...

In addition to the upgraded traits, Grand Fortune’s hull materials and weaponry had both reached the upper echelons for a Star-Class drifter. An extra surprise was that the "Captain’s Space" within the captain’s quarters had expanded to an area 10 kilometers in length, width, and height, for a total of 1,000 cubic kilometers.

The Jianmu Tree could now grow inside with ease, having more than enough room.

The corpse of the Great Black Heaven Dragon now looked like little more than a winding hill within the Captain’s Space.

Furthermore, the Captain’s Space was no longer a monotonous void. One-third of the area was now a saltwater ocean, while the other two-thirds were land. A winding freshwater river flowed across the land, descending from a high point into the ocean.

It was as if 1,000 cubic kilometers of continent and ocean had been carved out and stuffed into Grand Fortune’s Captain’s Space.

Shi Ming quickly grasped all the details of Grand Fortune’s changes.

The overall improvements far exceeded Shi Ming’s expectations.

The more he looked, the more he felt that a Star-Class ship like the *Nirvana* was an embarrassment to the "Star-Class" name. If Grand Fortune was a young adult in its prime, the Dark Star Race’s *Nirvana* could only be called a toddler.

’However,’

’the *Nirvana* seems to be capable of some kind of infinite upgrade?’

’Grand Fortune, on the other hand, doesn’t seem to have any potential for further breakthroughs at the moment.’

’Hmm... that’s not entirely true.’

’The [Infinite Brain] is only the second form of the [Brain of Creation]; it hasn’t evolved into its third form like the [Eye of Destiny] has. So perhaps there’s still room for improvement. Grand Fortune’s base stats are already far superior to the *Nirvana*’s, and the "Pseudo-God Remains" required for the *Nirvana*’s infinite upgrade sound like an extremely difficult material to obtain.’

Shi Ming had poured a great deal of energy and emotion into Grand Fortune and Sheri.

In comparison,

the *Nirvana* was just a tool.

...

...

...

Grand Fortune’s breakthrough was a turning point.

Hunting Star-Class vessels was now on the agenda.

The drifter, whose appearance could now be changed at will, sailed out of the fog-cleared Earth’s Lung and headed back toward Fire Camp.

The skies were clear the entire way.

Shi Ming stood on Grand Fortune’s deck in amazement, looking into the distance.

"This fog-clearing ability is absolutely incredible!"

"The dense fog that’s blanketed the Earth’s Lung for thirty years, wiped away in an instant!"

He had originally thought the storm from the promotion would clear the sea fog for fifty or sixty nautical miles at most. He never expected that the wave of energy—a condensation of seven types of Holy Hall Power and the Activated Wormhole Brain Domain—would travel so far, washing the fog from the entire Amazon Sea Region!

The fog here originated from the plant graveyard on the seabed and the energy of the Sea Crystal Stones produced by the Unceasing Water.

This cleansing was only temporary.

In a few weeks or months, the fog would rise again.

Unless the Unceasing Water was dealt with.

Still, this fleeting spectacle was certainly worthy of the front-page headlines in every major newspaper of the Endless Ocean. And during this time, many drifters would surely enter the Earth’s Lung to explore this briefly unveiled sea region...
