Caelus turned toward him with raised eyebrows.

"A large number of new players have arrived at Genesis," Mason reported quickly. "They started gathering at the town entrance about an hour ago and the crowd keeps growing!"

Caelus and Sylvia exchanged glances before immediately heading toward the main gate, their footsteps quick as curiosity and concern mixed together in their minds.

The scene that greeted them exceeded anything they had expected.

A massive crowd had gathered outside Genesis, hundreds of players standing in organized lines that stretched far beyond the town walls.

Some wore simple equipment that marked them as new players, while others carried gear that suggested they had been active in the domain for several days.

The atmosphere buzzed with excited conversation and hopeful anticipation.

Caelus quickly understood why they had come through simple observation and the fragments of conversation drifting toward him.

Yesterday’s livestream had spread across the entire Origin Network like wildfire, the clips reaching every major player community within hours of the broadcast ending.

Many players had watched Caelus defend Genesis against Shadow Halberd Guild’s attack and felt genuine admiration for his refusal to surrender against a stronger enemy.

Others had witnessed Sylvia’s terrifying combat performance and respected her strength, wanting to join whatever town produced someone that powerful.

Some simply recognized that Genesis was rapidly growing and wanted to attach themselves to a rising power before it became too exclusive.

"We saw the livestream!" one player shouted from the crowd.

"You actually fought back against a guild!" another added with visible excitement.

"Please let us register!"

The requests came from dozens of voices simultaneously, the crowd’s energy building as more people recognized Caelus and Sylvia standing at the entrance.

Caelus smiled warmly at the gathered players, his expression carrying genuine appreciation for their enthusiasm.

"I want to make something clear before anyone joins," he said loudly enough for the entire crowd to hear. "I cannot promise that any of you will become as strong as I am, that depends entirely on your own talent and effort."

The crowd fell silent, listening intently to his words.

"But what I can promise," he continued with confidence, "is that Genesis will provide opportunities for everyone willing to work hard and contribute to this town’s growth. We protect our people, we support our people, and we grow together."

The response was immediate and overwhelming.

"That’s all we need!"

"Sign me up!"

Players surged forward with renewed enthusiasm, their earlier hesitation completely erased by Caelus’s straightforward honesty.

This felt different from the random population Genesis had accumulated through conquest.

These people had actively chosen to join, drawn by reputation rather than circumstance.

While the registration process began with Mason coordinating the administrative details, Sylvia suddenly noticed something interesting among the arriving players.

She quietly pulled Caelus aside and showed him a section of the registration data appearing on her interface.

"Look at this," she said with a pleased expression. "Approximately 15 of them possess the Mining Profession."

Caelus’s eyes flickered as he processed the information.

Fifteen miners had arrived at Genesis on the exact same day the Origin Ore Vein opened.

The timing was almost too perfect to believe, as if fate itself had decided to reward them for surviving the guild’s coordinated attacks.

"We recruit every single one of them immediately," he said without hesitation.

Sylvia nodded in complete agreement.

The miners were quickly separated from the general registration line and brought directly to Caelus, their expressions carrying confusion mixed with excitement at receiving special attention from the Town Lord himself.

"Follow me," Caelus said simply. "I have something to show you."

He led the group of fifteen miners through Genesis toward the eastern district, Sylvia walking beside him as the confused workers trailed behind.

The journey took only a few minutes, but the miners’ confusion grew with every step as they noticed the golden light radiating from their destination.

When they finally reached the massive underground entrance, every single miner stopped dead in their tracks.

Their eyes went wide with disbelief.

"What is this place?"

"This is the reason I recruited you all personally," Caelus explained while gesturing toward the Wonder below. "The Origin Ore Vein beneath Genesis is classified as a Wonder of the World, and it will become the foundation of this town’s economy."

The miners exchanged glances filled with shock and growing excitement.

"I need people I can trust to operate this mine," Caelus continued. "People who understand that what happens here will determine Genesis’s future for years to come."

He met each miner’s eyes directly.

"I’m officially appointing all of you as Genesis’s first mining team, you will be the pioneers who establish our extraction operations and train future workers."

"What are the terms?" One miner stepped forward with a serious expression, his voice carrying determination.

"10,000 Origin Credits per hour" Caelus stated clearly. "Guaranteed payment regardless of how much ore you extract, with bonuses available for exceptional performance."

The miners’ eyes widened at the generous offer.

For an hour, that was alot.

10,000 Origin Credits daily was far above the standard rate for mining work, especially for a position that came with direct access to a Wonder of the World.

"I accept!"

"Count me in!"

"When do we start?"

The responses came rapidly, every miner accepting without hesitation.

Their enthusiasm went beyond simple salary negotiations, Caelus could see genuine excitement in their expressions.

"You start immediately," Caelus said with a satisfied smile. "Welcome to Genesis."

The reason he said 10,000 per hour was because most won’t work for more than an hour since they had to level up by entering the Origin Expanse as well.

And once they finish mining the ores, the cost would automatically cover itself.

Soon, the miners formed an organized line at the entrance of the underground cavern. Their equipment was ready and their spirits were high.

One by one, they descended the stone steps. Their figures gradually disappeared into the golden glow coming from below.

This marked the beginning of Genesis’s first large-scale mining operation. It was the moment when a struggling beginner town finally started building the foundation for true prosperity.

But this wasn’t enough. After getting the ore, they needed to find a buyer. Caelus knew exactly where to look for that.

Caelus and Sylvia swiftly walked to the center of the town. However, halfway there, a town attack alert from the System appeared before his eyes.

"Are they here?" Caelus’s expression turned serious as he looked at Sylvia.

She nodded at him, and they quickly moved.

They soon arrived near the town gate. They saw many guild players standing before them in rows. At the very front was a man with red hair.

Caelus inspected him and his expression showed complete surprise.

This man was a Rookie at level 50!
