Chapter 227: Achievement Unlocked! Two Arms Beat Four, Precision of the Ascended Machine
"Caelus. Get behind me." Chad gritted his teeth and spoke. "These smaller rabbits are all at level 4 or 5 as well. You will get one shot."
Chad took a deep breath.
Mana poured into him as he initiated his sword bone. Swords rapidly formed inside his body. Usually, this would have immediately killed a person. But the swords forming inside Chad turned into tiny golden particles that began fusing with his body.
In less than a second, countless swords merged with him. In the outside world, the wind blew as a golden aura crackled out of him. His muscles bulged, and his eyes turned into a literal sword.
"Don’t worry, Caelus. I will keep you safe."
Caelus was stunned seeing this. He then smiled softly. Now this was a good friend, the same friend he remembered from his old life. There was no change to Chad’s character at all. He would always push himself to the front of trouble for his friends. He was a man with sheer loyalty and a great personality. It was hard to hate Chad.
Since that was the case...
"Ruyi," Caelus softly called out.
A small needle grew bigger as it latched onto Caelus’s hands. Caelus took a step forward. He was right next to Chad, who was a few meters away, and placed his hand on his shoulder.
"You should take some rest," Caelus smiled. "You utilized too much mana while helping me level up. Leave the rest to me."
"???" Chad grew incredibly confused. However, the following instant, his eyes trembled.
Boom!
Caelus’s figure was like lightning. Wind distorted around him as he launched himself at the wave of burly rabbits.
"Are you crazy!?" Chad asked in disbelief.
Caelus heard his voice but did not reply. Action spoke louder than words!
"RUYI GET BIGGER!" He grinned as he gave the instruction.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
The Ruyi Jingu Bang erupted with light as its size expanded. He shot into the air and came down with his heavy staff crushing into the earth.
Boom!
The ground trembled as the Ruyi Jingu Bang crashed into the burly rabbits, grinding them into meat paste.
A burly rabbit rushed from behind with the intention to scratch Caelus. But he was like lightning. Before its claw could even reach him, he had already twisted his body. Looking at it coldly, he grabbed onto one of its nails and yanked on it.
Boom!
The rabbit could not survive his power. Three more rushed in, but Caelus was faster. His figure continuously caused the wind to distort as he moved with a precise speed that even Chad could not keep up with. Caelus’s eyes moved like lightning, scanning the rabbits and handling them in an instant.
While this happened, the rare beast watched with calm.
Caelus finally dealt with the last one, tearing its body into two with blood splashing everywhere as he calmly began walking towards the boss. Each step visibly shaking the ground.
"To be so calm, you must have a trump card." Caelus smiled. "Let’s see what you got."
ROAAAR!
The rare burly rabbit finally moved. So did Caelus.
Boom!
The air creaked with their small exchange. Chad took several steps back, staring at his level 2 friend in total disbelief.
Caelus lowered his stance and attacked. He poked the rabbit with his staff multiple times in a rapid flow.
Clack! Clack!
The weapon blurred in his hands, battering the beast’s guard. Then, building his momentum, he followed it up with a fierce strike, sending it backward with a heavy shockwave.
But just before it fell, a red aura enveloped it.
Boom!
Its combat score rose from 12 to 13.
Caelus, however, was unfazed.
A 13 combat score meant the strength of 13 perfectly healthy individuals.
They both had the same power. The other party did not have HP, but he had HP. That was the only difference.
This was a monster that no Crown-Ranked monster in the Abyss could even hold a candle to!
The creature’s four arms began moving at an unnatural speed. Four energy nets formed out of thin air. They fused together as they crashed towards Caelus.
Caelus smirked seeing this.
Tap! Tap! Tap! Boom!
From where he stood, he began dashing to gain momentum. The following moment, a sonic burst erupted from him. He shot into the air with his fists locked tightly together.
Boom!
Kinetic energy surged as he punched through the energy net effortlessly.
The burly rabbit’s eyes widened seeing this, and so did Chad’s.
In the air, Caelus shouted. "Ruyi Jingu Bang, get bigger!"
Boom!
It got bigger in an instant as it crashed down into the burly rabbit. The heavy weight knocked the beast off its feet. Seeing this, Caelus shot straight down from the sky. He landed a kick on its stomach, stepping neatly onto the fallen burly rabbit.
He glanced at the awestruck Chad and smiled. "It is time to end it."
However, just then, the burly rabbit woke up screeching. Its attacks grew more violent and berserk. Caelus and the burly rabbit clashed with their fists. Their stamina and aura drained rapidly.
But Caelus was single handedly matching the four armed burly rabbit with just his two arms.
"That is not physically possible..." Chad was tongue tied.
The four arms were not enough to stop a puny human?
But this human was not just any human. He was a being with an ascended body!
Caelus fought like a precision machine. Every move was exact, and there was no waste of momentum or force. If he entered a martial arts fight, he would easily emerge on top.
"Just die already!" Caelus punched even harder.
His veins bulged as his blood pumped faster, hammering away at the burly rabbit. At long last, immense force shot out from Caelus’s fist. It tore a straight hole right through the burly rabbit’s chest.

A golden light washed over Caelus as he stood there, taking it all in.

"C-Caelus..." Chad called out to his friend, who stood atop the corpse with his hair fluttering in the wind.
He was stupefied.
What sort of monster was he looking at?
Was this still his same old roomate?
Just then, a server wide notification rang out.

In Caelus’s vision, a new notification appeared.
