Chapter 189: A Glimpse of the Origin! Permanent Physical Changes and Time Transformation

Just as Caelus felt the strange connection and attuned himself to it, his draconic body twisted and turned before he returned to his human form.

Smoke and heat continuously radiated from his body as he began crashing to the floor.

Seeing this, the vampires looked at Caelus angrily and moved to strike him.

But before they could even make a move, a terrifying wind blew against their faces as a knight slowly revealed itself.

It was the Pharaoh Knight.

"What is that?" The Player’s Association head and the others were stunned.

The following moment, the knight moved. He was so incredibly fast that no normal gold rank could see his powers.

Immediately after, the vampires fell from the sky like severed kites, all unconscious and bleeding profusely.

Everyone was astounded by the Pharaoh Knight’s display of strength.

By the time the Pharaoh Knight was done, Sylvia had already unwrapped her wings and shot toward Caelus, catching him before he hit the ground.

She looked at him with concern. Now that her blood-bond resonance was activated, she knew he was not dead. But at the same time, his current status remained unknown.

Simultaneously, she glanced at her unconscious father.

When he woke up, his reality would be changed forever.

Reduced to nothing but a worthless being. Something he treated others as because he considered himself superior to everyone.

She believed Caelus did the right thing here.

But at the same time, she was deeply worried about her Caelus.

What was she going to do now?

How would she know his status?

Just then, a holy light shot through the sky and arrived beside Sylvia.

It was Lyra.

She looked at Caelus with a complicated expression.

Sylvia grew wary. "What do you want with him?"

Her eyes were cold and sharp, not even a little bit scared of this angel.

"Come with me," Lyra said. "Or else, his condition might turn for the worse."

Sylvia stared deeply at Lyra, not trusting her at all.

"I swear an oath to the Origin Network that I will not do anything, nor will the Holy Church do anything to you or your boyfriend." Lyra bit her finger, and blood oozed out, vanishing into the world and directly into the Origin Network.

If she broke this promise, she would be directly eliminated by the Origin Network.

"I will help you. I must help you," Lyra said as she eyed Caelus. "He cannot die."

Sylvia was taken aback by Lyra, but in the end, she decided to trust her. One way or another, she was an angel, and most importantly, she had made an oath.

Lyra then snapped her fingers. Everyone immediately became absent-minded, and then she said, "I have temporarily put them in a mind illusion. This should be enough for us to go somewhere far away."

"Far from the Holy Church."

Sylvia raised an eyebrow hearing this.

"Can I bring my brother?"

Lyra nodded.

They then immediately set off with the Pharaoh Knight in tow.

And while this happened, Allstar had already silently disappeared from this world. No one except the Angel, the ender and his progenitor girlfriend will remember him.

He had left after fullfilling his desires. But he had also left a gift for Caelus which he will get once he reaches the Origin Ascension Domain.

.....

The strange connection Caelus was attuned to was strange.

It visibly began distorting within his mind. Showing him glimpse of things he couldn’t understand.

If he was not wrong, this was a flashback, and as it was right now, he was the person in that flashback.

He was in a cold place with no stars or light.

But he felt an acceleration within his body for some reason.

"I will break through," a distorted voice rushed into Caelus’s head.

Caelus furrowed his brows.

He felt like he had heard this voice somewhere before.

The same voice rang out again, growing louder every second. The words were the same as before.

"If I break through this final barrier, what could be on the other side?" This time, he did not hear a loud noise, but it felt like an echo, or rather the thoughts of someone.

The space around him was continuously collapsing.

Behind him was an infinitely stretching light. They seemed to be trying to get closer to him.

From afar, he could make out their figures; one was a draconic figure, and another was a humanoid figure with a lot of light radiating around it.

"Is that the Ancient Dragon God?" he wondered.

"Then, who is the one beside it?"

The only thing that stood out about this figure was the light around it.

Caelus seemed to have suddenly realized something.

However, before they could catch up to him, a barrier broke in front of him, and he leapt straight into it.

The vision distorted, and back in the real world, Caelus groggily opened his eyes.

He realized he was in a white room. There were chains bound to him, much to his dismay.

However, it didn’t take him much force to break free from it.

Once he abruptly broke free from the chains, he saw a mirror on the side.

He wore casual, plain clothing and had cuffs on his wrists. The combat score he had could not stop the cuffs from binding him.

But the instant he saw his reflection in the mirror, he was shocked.

"My hair changed back to black?" Caelus was confused.

He once had black hair, then when he got the Chaos Perception Dragon race, his hair turned white.

Now it had turned black again with a slight golden hue.

But not just that, his eyes had also transformed.

They had turned golden; the red had now become white symbols instead.

They now looked straight like draconic eyes, burning like a golden supernova in space.

Anyone would be immediately captivated by his eyes.

Usually, he could hide them. But now it wasn’t working.

"Could this be the side effect of dragon transformation?"

He directly opened his status window, checking his race tab to see a new addition there.

[Race: Chaos Perception Dragon - Chaos Ring (Time Transformation Achieved)]

Time transformation?

Could this be some sort of trait, the former ender of origin awakened after breaching the barrier of time?

"I remember. This should be the thing that gave me the Temporal Regression power," Caelus mumbled to himself.

Time regression. He got it alongside Origin Sever.

The anger he felt triggered the last bit of the ender’s authority that was hiding inside him.

This had always existed within him, sometimes appearing to help him when he was in a pinch. But now, that power was no more.

This power was triggered automatically by the intense emotion he felt after seeing the vision of Sylvia. After seeing Azula.

It made him so angry that he realized his own powers, obtaining Origin Sever and Temporal Regression in the process.

The authority was also what granted him the Dragon Transformation.

It was completely on a different level from the Chaos Dragon Body.

It increased his combat score by +75. That was one whole rank’s worth of power, and not just that, his stats did not double like they did with the Chaos Dragon Body; they tripled.

And that was supposedly a half-dragon transformation. If he had used more, his body would have been permanently destroyed.

Meaning, the full transformation was even more terrifying.

His cells were not strong enough to contain the mystic code of the Dragon Transformation yet.

Nor was his entire being configured for it yet.

Speaking of which, the transformation also allowed him to break into the crown-rank power level.

Meaning, if he had the Dragon Transformation, he would most definitely be able to surpass the limitation of not having a crown.

It also amplified skill effects.

Caelus could not be more motivated to master the Dragon Transformation.

It is done by making the cooldown of the Chaos Dragon Body nonexistent and in turn gain access to the Half-Dragon Transformation which will have a cooldown similar to Chaos dragon body.

He definitely needed training on that.

"Now, I can look at the new skills more closely."

There was something unique about these two skills.
