After the two left, Alm and Bruno sighed, thoughtful. This side quest wouldn’t be quick or simple. They weren’t powerful enough to face the entire alliance directly yet, so they’d have to keep pushing gradually until the decisive moment.
There was also the fact that they were considered missing in the universe. They couldn’t act directly, so they had appointed Rehvka and Maelik to lead. They’d do the job perfectly, but it would probably take years to complete the task.
’We can’t just level up and cultivate quickly,’ Bruno pondered silently, then added, ’But we have so much accumulated to study and reflect on. That will indirectly increase our power anyway. Maybe it’s Heaven’s Will giving us a hint: "You have so much immortal knowledge, but never take the time to study it!"’
Alm sighed seriously. They never had peace; they were always jumping from one danger to another.
The two turned their eyes upward, sensing the presence of the nearby planet. There stood the old trading point, where outsiders once gathered. Now, it was just a pile of ruins, without inhabitants, but it had become the place where sect members faced terrifying tribulations. Right now, Ruri, Corin, and Maelik were doing what Alm and Bruno couldn’t yet: advancing in realm.
The three had gone through an intense celestial punishment together but survived, emerging as invincible emperors. Ruri returned to the Gloom planet and ran to the whale, excitedly exclaiming:
"It worked, master! They’re hatching!"
Before her tribulation, Ruri had received an idea from Coltia: open the beast world and let part of the lightning nourish the eggs, completing their maturation.
Normally, that would have been considered madness — a death sentence for any egg of any race. But these weren’t ordinary eggs; they were from the Celestial Dragons.
Ruri then took out the three enormous eggs, each almost five meters tall, radiating a suffocating and extreme presence. Runula, Coltia, and Lieson joined her, eager. Only Deryu remained impassive, silent in the beast world.
The eggs began to crack, and their shells slowly came off.
"ROAR!"
The first roar, low but fierce, echoed. Even though it was low, everyone on the Gloom planet felt the reverberation through the celestial laws, and their hearts raced in shock. It was anything but simple; it was born with supreme authority.
But, it was a dragon only a few meters long, completely serpentine, with celestial blue and white scales. Bruno immediately noticed: it was literally the newly born form of a classic Eastern dragon from Earth. However, there was a noticeable Yang influence in it.
"It’s a boy," Ruri commented. "Yinou said it would be better for them to choose their genders quickly. It helps with studying, as being neutral interferes in many ways. That’s why she influenced them to be born already defined, and they chose for themselves."
She approached the newborn. It seemed wild and explosive, but as soon as it saw Ruri and felt her primordial bloodline, its body was completely suppressed.
"Good boy, eat well." Ruri smiled, conjuring giant meatballs and making it eat.
The second egg opened, revealing another similar figure, but this one didn’t emit any sound or a suffocating presence. Its eyes were rounder and more expressive, while its scales leaned more towards gray than white, clearly a Yin influence.
"A well-behaved girl, great. Come, eat well. You’ll help me deal with your brother here." Ruri stroked the newborn’s head and handed it food.
Finally, the third egg cracked, revealing an imposing figure, a third bigger than the first dragon. Though it didn’t roar, its aura was much denser and more controlled than the other two.
"Hmmm, another boy... you’re much more serious and imposing. Maybe, if you eat well, you’ll get chubby and beautiful like master. Eat as much as you can; you have potential!" Ruri laughed happily as she got to know her three new pets.
Runula, Coltia, and Lieson also helped, beaming with joy. Now, Ruri had seven pets, not counting the Yin Chaos Dragon, which always stayed inside her body, aiding her.
"First, second, and third... Then, they will be: Foulu, Sanna, and Timero." Ruri quickly named the three.
Alm and Bruno watched her excitement, sharing in that special moment. The newborn dragons ate until they were exhausted. Now, they’d need resources meant for dragons to grow quickly. Ruri soon prepared to take them to the Dragon Ascent Sect, the best place for them.

After the event, the whale slowly made its way to the new region of Gloom planet, called Forest Blood and Life. There lived Amary and his children, belonging to the Blood Seeker Tree and Life-Recovering Tree races.
The forest was bright and sacred, with low trees surrounded by a natural and soft aura. They entered calmly, and before long, they saw an ancient Starry Sky Tree almost lifeless at the beginning of the area. It was Oami, who was in her final days.
Sensing their presence, Oami immediately assumed her humanoid form and rushed to meet them, full of anticipation.
"Let’s go. It’s time."
They took her to the center of the forest, where Amary was calmly sunbathing. He was in his true form, in an open, untouched area, surrounded by herbs that emitted a deep Qi.
"Sir," Amary said, noticing the newcomer. He assumed his humanoid form, something quite androgynous yet still striking. "My children are all in the sect cultivating. As for me, I’ve consumed all the fruits you gave me, and now I’m gradually collecting the karmic luck."
The whale nodded, and a new mountain of fruits appeared—one hundred times more powerful than the previous ones.
"Create the best body you can for Oami. After that, use the rest to generate a new, powerful generation. She will guide these young ones, and in the future, she’ll take care of everyone in your race."
Amary looked at Oami and nodded, understanding the order. They’d known each other for some time, and she was truly a competent ancestor who would do anything for them. Amary had complete trust in her and in the whale’s words.
In just a few minutes, Amary absorbed almost half of the fruits. Then, his true body pulsed with white, radiant light. A seed appeared, reflecting multiple colors, as if all the natural laws existed within it.

The seed floated in front of the whale, who nodded and looked to the side. There, she saw Oami frozen and pale. "What?" he asked, confused.
"This... This is the new Essence-Root Tree…"
She murmured in shock. The whale then turned to Amary and saw all his vitality begin to disperse. He snorted and absorbed all the remaining fruits. Soon, a hundred seeds flowed quickly.
In the end, all the light faded, and the radiant tree withered, looking dry and almost dead.
Seeing the whale’s confused look, Amary murmured, "Technically, there can only be one Essence-Root Tree. When a light king gives birth to another, he dies. This happens because the child devours the creator to nourish itself, and also because there can’t be two tigers on the same mountain. But... don’t worry. I just lost all my abilities. I won’t die soon if she doesn’t devour me. I’ll just live in retirement with my children. This is the best path, don’t you think?"
Alm and Bruno understood and sighed. Indeed, Oami could now be the new queen of this race and lead them much better. If Amary wouldn’t die but simply lose his powers, then this was the best outcome for his bloodline’s future.
The whale turned to Oami, who took a deep breath and nodded. Then, her true form reappeared. Her entire existence began to glow, transforming into pure natural energy. This was her final death.
But a hand waved and pulled her soul. Alm and Bruno quickly connected her to the new seed. With their abilities to manipulate the Origin law, Oami would retain her memories. They then used tattoos to gather all the natural energy from her old body, sealing everything inside the seed.
"Now you’ve been completely reborn and will grow quickly. Don’t rush, adapt little by little." The whale murmured calmly. He then moved to a corner and buried Oami’s seed there.
Next, he took all the last seeds Amary had generated and buried them nearby, around her. They would grow slowly until they could cultivate and form bodies to emerge.
Natural lives like trees, with a bit of intelligence, could already manipulate Qi and use metamorphosis. The Golems, on the other hand, took much longer to gain such intelligence; even when they reached that point, they naturally lacked affinity with Qi to use metamorphosis, so they created bodies of earth or metal, which was simpler for them.

With everything complete, the whale proceeded to the Golem Fortress. Inside, there were billions of golems from all over the universe, cultivating the Dao of the Golem God. The promise made to this god was being fulfilled, and they also had a terrifying hidden army, cultivating there in secret.
Next, they visited the final area: the Twelve Peaks Forest.
There, the four time-space races were present. Now, they made up a vast army of hybrid divine beasts. The new generation was already mature, and all the souls brought from that place had already reincarnated as terrifying cultivators. They all remained hidden from the world, but they were ready to fight at any moment.
From the Yinblood sect, only Feys or a few others from different races were known in the universe. But in reality, that was just the tip of the iceberg.
This sect was at least five times more powerful and had more cultivators than others imagined. And even with what was visible, it was already considered number one; after all, the young ones who showed themselves to the world were terrifying and oppressive compared to others.
After a quick glance, still in the Twelve Peaks Forest, two spiritual shadows of primordial beasts appeared: the Leviathan and the Ziz.
They had been left there, tasked with helping the beasts as guides. But they were obviously not happy about it.
"Time to go. Get into these pills. I’ll find people for you to stay together with," the whale said, showing two pills, of the three Almin had made.
The two beasts were excited. They didn’t want to stay there forever and preferred to see the world, even if hidden in other people’s bodies.
After bringing them out, inside the pills, the whale went to where Calirer was, near the building where he lived. He saw her taking care of Heze with great affection, training and educating him.
The boy no longer seemed uncomfortable beside her, showing he was much more mentally stable. Upon seeing the whale, both stopped and ran to him.
"Heze, your father is here," the whale said, showing the pill. "I can find someone else to stay with him..."
"No. Trust him to me, sir," the young man responded without hesitation.
Bruno spoke softly, "You don’t have to force anything. No one chooses their father and mother, and you don’t need to get too attached to it. You have your own path, and he has his. But, your karma is probably connected, so running from this relationship is foolish. The best is to keep things peaceful, even from a distance."
"I don’t hate him, Sir. Actually, despite being harsh, he was my only true companion since I was born. My father never meant me harm, but the state of the world was complicated, and he had to use me. It wasn’t just for him... he sacrificed himself and used me, all so we could survive and help the world against that Queen. I remember he always tried to comfort me... he just didn’t know how."
"Boy..." The emotional voice of the Leviathan sounded from the pill.
Alm and Bruno nodded. They never felt malice from the Leviathan. He was sometimes cruel, but his son was still alive, with only slight damage. He was a bit twisted, but with Calirer’s help, he quickly stabilized. This proved that the Leviathan sought to follow his plans without causing maximum harm to the young one.
They handed the pill to Heze, who swallowed it immediately. The whale gave a glance at Calirer, who nodded slightly. Then, he moved, leaving them behind.
’She has the same drive as Ruri. If Ruri gets pregnant and needs to stop for a while, surely Calirer will want to have a child and enjoy the moment with her... maybe all the women around him, married or not, will want the same,’ Bruno murmured as they walked away.
Alm replied dryly, ’It won’t be bad for them, and it’s a natural desire some of them have; this will stabilize their minds. As for Corin, he’ll have to figure out how to make it happen at the right time.’
They walked away, and thinking about the Ziz, moved toward a specific area nearby. Soon, a figure flapped its wings in the sky and landed in front of them. It was Rivine, extremely anxious.
"Sir."
They looked into her violet eyes and felt her fluctuations were more chaotic than usual. There was clear desperation in her, and Bruno quickly guessed why.
He took out the pill and said, "You seem compatible. The Ziz can help you a lot. It’ll be an equal exchange." He handed the pill to the harpy, who grabbed it quickly. "Do your best. But... You know he doesn’t care about this, right?"
She turned to him, serious: "A harpy is not submissive. We are the ones who dominate. If it wasn’t like this, our race would have already disappeared. Now, with your blessing, I’m sure I’ll succeed."
She said, gritting her teeth, confident, and Bruno nodded. Indeed, a harpy needed to dominate her partner in order to have harpy daughters in peace. If they weren’t dominant, the husband wouldn’t accept having only harpy daughters, which could lead to the extinction of the race.
’That foolish idiot,’ Alm murmured coldly. ’She feels so inferior to him since he returned. He really changed. But even in all those lives in the micro-universe, he didn’t learn anything about women.’
Bruno agreed. In that micro-universe, Maelik had always kept his memories and sought to learn about everything, except this type of subject.
Before, when he was still immature, he had feelings for her. But now, after living so much, he had become completely cold and only saw her as a companion. In other words... He was a fool, oblivious to everything Rivine felt and went through. He probably didn’t even realize that she liked him.
Maybe she liked him before, but back then, he didn’t inspire any confidence, making her hesitate. That’s why she tried to train him and develop that in him; that was the reason she never refused to train him directly... even though she pretended to deeply dislike him.
’A classic tsundere,’ Bruno murmured.
’He missed the chance to dominate a harpy. Now we’ve given her the tools. Soon, he’ll have to deal with it and shed tears of blood.’
Alm spoke coldly, and Bruno sighed, lamenting for his poor disciple.
