A few minutes earlier, in the Void Forest, Ruri was sitting inside a cave, meditating on something.

"Lady Ruri, we’ve checked the entire perimeter of the Divine Mountains," said an enthusiastic voice. Ruri opened her eyes and saw Merua entering, accompanied by her five allies. "We found some dangers, but Lord Corrin and the others are dealing with them. We discovered some valuable herbs; according to the nation’s records, they only exist in the Void Forest."

Ruri nodded and spoke calmly. "Great, everything’s been checked and the timing is perfect. We won’t leave anything behind. Gather everyone; we’ll start the heist… I mean, we’ll collect our rewards."

Merua nodded excitedly and quickly left with her group. Any member of the whale’s group who heard this conversation would immediately notice the clear similarity with the whale’s style and way of speaking. It was no surprise; Ruri had taken the lead and used everything she learned from him over time. She remembered everything, and even her way of speaking ended up being replicated.

Merua’s excitement was because they were no longer in the Red Void Forest. Just as the whale wouldn’t be content staying in a lower-level place, Ruri had found a way to infiltrate the two higher levels that should have been inaccessible.

It wasn’t difficult; this place was an initial version of the sealed worlds. Ruri had already analyzed the core formation of three other sealed worlds and, with her Superior Formation Dao, crossed through them all without consequences.

Of course, she didn’t forget to conduct a meticulous search of every inch of the three areas of the Void Forest, collecting every minimally valuable resource. She also visited all the Divine Mountains. She knew from her master what they were, but also understood that all the divine cultivators were likely dead.

In studying everything, she was surprised to discover that all the Sacred Mountains were connected to the core of the forest’s formation. It was as if the twelve mountains were the pillars supporting everything. If she could master the formation of the mountains, the whole place would be hers.

How many treasures could she collect if she mastered everything? Would her master let her get away with it? Never. She had to try to take everything.

Even discovering this, it was still impossible to put the plan into action… if not for one detail: a fatal flaw in the entire structure. The Red Void Forest comprised the area of two mountains; four in the next, and six in the last.

As there was a cultivation restriction in the Red Void Forest, allowing only cultivators at most at the Divine Origin Realm to enter, the two mountains of the Red Void Forest had much weaker Qi and spatial laws. Yes, the restriction of the entire forest also weakened the power of the runes in the formation of the two mountains.

"Who was the idiot who built this place?" Ruri commented upon realizing this, but her smile and excitement brightened like a radiant sun.

Not that the designer of the formation was actually an idiot; she knew that well. No one at the cultivation level capable of entering the Red Void Forest would have even 1% of the power needed to do something. Ruri didn’t have that power naturally either, but with the Dao of the Formation God, the defense level of the mountains was laughable.

Mastering the two weak mountains was the same as controlling two support pillars while providing knowledge and an opening to invade the higher formations.

The perfect plan was set. She wasn’t foolish enough to think this wouldn’t cause a major disturbance, so she waited until the last day. They would steal everything and leave the forest; by the time outsiders discovered what happened, they would already be far away, back at the Yinblood Sect.

Ruri left her runes parasitizing the two initial Divine Mountains and then took the group to the other two locations, doing the same with all the mountains. The time was basically spent venturing through the forest regions in search of anything valuable.

Remembering that the higher levels were meant for high-realm cultivators to explore, the dangers were lethal even for the whale’s group. However, the dangers were basically plants, and the whale’s group had extremely sharp danger senses. They could detect something deadly from far away and simply avoid it.

To keep everything safe, Ruri and Rehvka stayed invisible while scouting around, avoiding any unpredictable dangers.

Since she was a child, the whale had taken Ruri to many dangerous places, and now she demonstrated a level of skill and safety that would certainly make Alm and Bruno proud.

In the end, many spatial affinity herbs, exotic woods, and other treasures were found. Finally, the perfect day for even more extravagant profits had arrived.

The whale’s group gathered around the mountain. Ruri led them to one of the Divine Mountains that was nearby. It was the central mountain, the highest support pillar.

Merua and her five allies looked like they were in a dream. They were the most benefited by all the collection and adventure. Their spatial rings were completely stuffed, and they even gained many more rings to store everything. Ruri had given them half of the treasures found. It was fair, after all, they could enter and do everything freely thanks to the support of the Immortal Cranes.

They arrived at the base of a Divine Mountain that shone as if it were made of raw gold. Everyone looked at that monument with greedy eyes, eager to see what Ruri could reveal by mastering it all.

Ruri didn’t waste any time. She focused, and the two mountains in the Red Void Forest began to pulse, covered by multicolored runes. Within seconds, the four higher-level mountains were mastered, and then the remaining six.

She smiled and extended her hand, allowing endless runes from the core of the forest to open up to her.

At that exact moment, outside the Void Forest, in a hidden location in the world, three humans watched all the changes and their eyes widened in panic.

A man was the first to react. "Holy shit! The forest’s formation!"

"Silence, activate the highest alert! Those four are involved in this. Destroy the laws of that world and seal the forest’s exits," the woman leading them roared furiously.

While the two men started making their first moves, the woman pulled out numerous runes glowing with golden light. Quickly, the runes pulsed in response.

She turned to the two men, and they nodded. She spat out, "Now!"

Ruri had mastered the forest’s formation at the same moment Alm and Bruno appeared on the battlefield after stealing all the Origin Law. After her words to the four kings, everything happened.

The world made with the Void Dream law had the base that kept the world destroyed by heroic power. All the security mechanisms had been ready for a long time.

The world was in a spatial fissure between the forest’s entrance and the external world. Even that was planned. After the collapse and destruction of the world, the goal wasn’t to kill the kings or the laws they were perfecting; that would be stupid.

Alm and Bruno, in their united and complete form, reacted quickly. With a single step, they arrived next to Coltia and Kaiyka, and then everything exploded violently.

Their world was engulfed by suffocating darkness.

But it lasted only a few seconds before a subtle light enveloped them. When they realized it, they looked around and saw all six million former slaves not far away. A bit further, the four kings were with expressions of extreme panic and terror.

The Kun Peng muttered, trembling. "This… is the Void Forest…"

Alm and Bruno didn’t know exactly where they were, but the kings immediately recognized and confirmed their suspicions.

"Fuck!"

Alm and Bruno spat, and turned to see three human figures holding weapons. Then, they observed the entire horizon covered by spatial channels.

In the next moment, figures began emerging from the channels without stopping. Hundreds… thousands… coming out endlessly. They were of various races and sizes, all with serious expressions, armed, and their cultivations fully awakened.

Alm, Bruno, and the entire forest seemed petrified. The power of thousands of figures at the peak of divine cultivation covered every inch of the sky. Everyone was focused on the ground and every fluctuation present; nothing could escape them.

It was impossible to escape, and even dreaming of taking any action seemed ridiculous.
