It was the sixth day in the Dream of the Void and the Void Forest. That day, Alm and Bruno decided to start their attack plans. Amidst the tension and uncertainties, they focused solely on one thing: winning the battle. This was an old habit, and only later would they realize the mistake they had made.
They forgot that the group in the forest was not made up of ordinary people. Among them was a woman who had grown up and learned everything from them; if she was still alive today, it was because she acted like an extraordinary monster, capable of performing astounding feats. Ruri had perfectly learned not to waste any opportunity while performing terrifying acts.
In the early hours of that day, in a massive black castle, the four kings were gathered around a battle planning table.
"We almost have seven million. In four more days, we’ll have enough for the full attack," Zaori said, and everyone agreed.
On the planning table, their strategy was well outlined. Seven million was a calculated and perfect number. They would attack in destructive waves. The first would consist of two million soldiers recruited from the planet, advancing head-on, not to fight but for a suicide mission.
Everyone would have explosive runes with them; it was a tactic to prevent their senses from being affected again. The kings would trigger the detonation, regardless of what happened to the soldiers.
Next, the five million slaves would attack in three waves, one at a time, wearing them down and forcing those two divine souls to use any trump cards they had. The waves were to ensure they didn’t kill everyone at once. Finally, the kings would move. It was a simple tactic, but sometimes complicating things wasn’t the solution, it was about playing it safe.
It was right after Zaori’s words that the four suddenly felt a disastrous premonition. All of them turned simultaneously in one direction in the castle...
*BOOM!*
A deafening explosion and a violent shock shook the heavens. All the nearly seven million gathered around turned in fear toward the castle. There, they saw the immense monument explode violently.
What caused this? Everyone clearly saw the space that was split in half. A gigantic blade divided the sky and the world, the cut was still visible to all.
Dust rose, and the whole castle crumbled. But... everyone’s eyes were fixed on a figure in the sky. There was a female human figure, holding a sword that looked ethereal. The aura of her blade was terrifying, but the most frightening thing was her eyes; focusing on them felt like one’s soul was being grasped.
*Whoosh!*
Suddenly, a wave of wind spread out, dispersing the dust that had risen. The four kings appeared in the center of the rubble, looking up coldly.
Until the light of the world went out.
Everything seemed to fall into a deep darkness, and in the sky, a starry horizon appeared. But they weren’t stars; they were thousands of runes radiating a pulsating sacred light. Everyone felt the destructive power of that light, aimed at the ground. It was at that moment that their eyes turned to a furry white figure, whose wings moved smoothly.
"You took too long to come, so we’ll start the party ourselves," Coltia said calmly, as Kaiyka moved the blade slowly.
"Damn it," spat Kun Peng, with a contorted face, until the four kings noticed something through the array.
The Immortal Crane spoke quickly: "We lost everyone who was surrounding that city."
"It doesn’t matter, it’s not completely guaranteed, but we have to finish this now," said the Celestial Jaguar, before letting out a thunderous roar. "ATTACK!"
Everyone around snapped out of their stupor with the roar. Most were experienced slaves, eternally marked by their skill and power; they all moved immediately to fight.
Coltia snorted dryly and then manipulated the starry sky. "Starfall!"
*BOOM! BOOM! BOOOM! BOOOM!*

Thousands of beams of light rained down on the ground like a final judgment. Simultaneously, Kaiyka advanced, her focus entirely on the four kings.
The first wave of terrifying destruction was launched by these two, and the whole world seemed to tremble.
"Attack!"
The shouts echoed throughout the circle around the castle. It was the army of a million soldiers advancing in a siege right after Coltia’s attack.
"Damn it!" roared Kun Peng, half of his body still moving as he narrowly dodged the katana.
Kaiyka grinned wickedly. It was the second time a Kun Peng had dodged her strike; his spatial power was extreme and high-level. Even as just a soul, he managed to burn it to use laws he knew so well.
"The first bastard dodged. Now I managed to nick him; I think I can do it," she said coldly, looking at the beast.
*ROAR!*
A feline roar sounded in a fierce attack, making her turn to the Celestial Jaguar. Along with his movement, the space around him began to close and be sealed. She simply snorted and cut.
"Down!"
*CRACK!*
The Celestial Jaguar’s power exploded like glass. But, at the last second, he moved down at Zaori’s shout. Kaiyka snorted; Zaori’s strange eyes could almost predict the future.
Meanwhile, the Immortal Crane appeared beside Kun Peng, using his time power to restore him to full health. The four fought together against only Kaiyka, and even with all their power, they barely managed to avoid being immediately crushed by her.
In the skies, Coltia roared, with explosions of light beams falling on her enemies. They were terrifying and true calamities.
"There are two more divine souls! How didn’t we notice this earlier?" spat Kun Peng.
Zaori then spoke, looking around in concern. "Where are the other two?!"
Kaiyka smiled coldly and swung her blade, giving them no time to reflect. If they let their guard down for a second, they would be sliced in half. It wouldn’t kill them, but it would take several minutes to fully resurrect. During that time, their soldiers would be at the mercy of fate.
They didn’t know what the two were planning, but the energy consumption from the two was enormous. It was better to keep them in battle without letting them do anything abnormal, and eventually, they would win.
Everyone was surprised by these two new divine souls, but their excitement was greater. Four divine souls had fallen into the net; they could hardly believe their luck.
Kun Peng and the Celestial Jaguar were on the front line, while the other two provided support. They were experienced and knew how to work together; although she was powerful, she was just one, and it wasn’t impossible to avoid the worst by a thread.
Then Zaori looked at the battlefield and noticed something.
"They... the five million elites are all alive," he focused on his array and confirmed. "All of the nearly two million we recruited have been killed!"
The four were stunned. It was just one million plus these two; against nearly seven million plus the four kings. The difference was overwhelming. Yet, they had chosen to destroy only the newly recruited soldiers. The slaves in the array were the most powerful but were only being held back. This was unbelievable madness; did they really intend to win?
The four weren’t fools; upon hearing that, the answer instantly formed in their minds. The two were attacking with everything they had, holding nothing back; it was just to buy time.
"Realize? So what?" Kaiyka spat dryly and her blade cut brutally into the Celestial Jaguar.
The Immortal Crane rushed to save the Celestial Jaguar before his soul crumbled. But it was exactly as she had said. Kaiyka and Coltia weren’t sparing anything with their strikes. In less than an hour, their energy would be exhausted because of it. Yet, the kings couldn’t do anything against Kaiyka, and their entire army was being blocked by Coltia and her small force.
The reason? In just five minutes, the four noticed something far off, and their eyes widened. It was the answer.
"All my cities! All the energy spheres have been taken!" Zaori spoke quickly.
The other three had shocked expressions; the situation was the same for them. Each king had a dozen of these cities scattered around, all accumulating the Laws of Origin. And now, all had been swiftly stolen.
"BASTARD!" roared Kun Peng, furiously enraged. "This is extremely important to all of us. You have nowhere to run! I will recover what is mine and make you pay for your audacity!"
"Run?"
A voice spoke softly. That voice reverberated as if the celestial laws were vibrating, and the whole world trembled with its words.
Immediately, the battlefield froze, and all five million fighters felt their bodies petrify. Coltia and Kaiyka smiled slightly and stopped attacking. The four kings turned their eyes to the sky.
There, a single figure stood, watching them with no emotion. Staring into its eyes felt like falling into an infernal sea. A primal fear overtook them.
The figure waved, and the horizon twisted, with formless and colorless power vibrating around it. The four widened their eyes.
"He... he’s using..."
At that moment, the four felt something terrifying through the array. All five million slaves were removed from the array, and the kings lost control over them.
The figure waved again, and with that movement, the entire world trembled. The Celestial Jaguar went catatonic; the inheritance he received was the dominion of the laws of this world, and at that instant, he lost all contact with them.
"It’s over," said the sinister figure in the sky, emotionlessly. "I’ll give you a single option. But of course, you can choose to be completely destroyed and never reincarnate again. All six million of those you enslaved will be satisfied."
Crack...
A cracking sound reverberated throughout the world. Everyone thought it was the figure, but... Alm and Bruno were silent, their eyes narrowed.
"What the hell?"
They turned around murmuring and saw the entire horizon immediately covered with cracks, like spider webs.
It took a second... everything shook, and space began to collapse. "Fuck! The world is collapsing."
At that moment, when they thought they had won, the two felt a nearly solid, mortal danger. The worst happened... then...
*BOOM!!!!*
