The entire environment turned so cold that their bones ached. An indescribable presence made everyone open their eyes in terror. The laws of the universe stirred, and the Shadow God watched the fight from above with a look of disdain.
"Summoning me to resolve something so trivial... it seems my sect has declined over time."
His voice echoed, and at the same time, the demons fighting above felt the energy in their bodies freeze. The battle stopped instantly; everyone halted, and even the world seemed to petrify in front of that figure.
The whale’s group turned to the ground and faced the Shadow God. Their faces were immersed in disdain. A true god, and that’s it? They all thought, their eyes showing a silent will to attack him immediately.
"Someone wanting to show off?" The voice full of hatred from a harpy echoed, and the laws of the winds roared around her. "Finally decided to show up..."
The Shadow God’s eyes glowed with disdain. "Hm? What a waste of time." He waved, and immediately the entire sealed world trembled violently.
"Indeed, a waste of time."
Suddenly, the human heard a voice sounding behind him, just a few inches away, and his eyes widened. When he turned, he saw the whale and three female figures covered in spatial runes.
He looked into the whale’s eyes and saw a villainous smile spread across his face. Then, he felt his entire soul stiffen. "What the hell..."
**Whooowh!**
Suddenly, the world around him went dark, and he felt like he had fallen into a void, an empty and dark abyss.
The human’s heart began to beat uncontrollably, a mix of surprise and panic taking over him. He felt all his connections to the world and the celestial laws being severed. It took a second, then he took a deep breath and saw the skies light up. Everything was pulsing in a luminous violet. A full moon of divine beauty, surrounded by a transcendental ring, seemed to be the only source of power in the universe.
"**Moon Goddess Dao.**"
The words echoed from all directions as the Shadow God watched with wide eyes. It was a divine Dao, complete, but still being tested and judged by the celestial laws.
"This..." He murmured, astonished. He immediately realized the terrifying capabilities of the Dao, understanding that he had fallen into an abyssal trap. Although the Dao had not yet been fully accepted, it already had a potential that sent chills down his spine.
**ROAAR!**
Suddenly, a terrifying and thunderous roar erupted. Looking up, he saw a colossal black wyvern spread its wings.
"Mutant wyvern?" He exclaimed, surprised, only to then see an army of draconic beasts rise to the skies, surrounding him with terrifying roars. "Hmf, you think you can defeat me with numbers?"
All the laws and energies in that human body were suppressed. He made a smooth movement, and smiling, he began to burn all the soul and life of the unconscious human.
"Summoning me has its consequences." He declared, as the human body radiated a dark and sinister power.
**Rumble!!**
A sea of beasts attacked furiously, and then the space shattered. Suddenly, the Shadow God’s eyes widened. He realized that this Dao not only sealed him. His enemies were not fighting alone; this world was imbued solely with the laws of the Moon Goddess, and all her allies could use them with ease, thus being blessed.
"A Dao for others to use? How ridiculous."
The Shadow God sneered in the human’s body, then drew a black saber, its blade vibrating with powerful energy. Who was he? His Dao was the supreme power of killing!
**Clang! Clang! Clang!**
The beasts were like giants trying to crush a flying cockroach. But the cockroach, quick and agile, dodged claws coming from all directions, blocked some critical hits, and took others.
With each swing of the dark saber, a rain of black blood fell to the ground. The beasts were continuously injured but didn’t die. Only those with the highest defense were harmed.
They moved with precision and synchronicity, advancing only when they were sure they could escape. The Shadow God had a grim expression. How could these beasts be so smart?
The fight extended for an hour. Hundreds of beasts were severely injured, but none died. The others roared and attacked, and the Shadow God, experienced, barely suffered any losses. However, he felt a constant chill. The mutant wyvern attacked from time to time, and he had to avoid being hit by it at all costs; it was the only real danger, while the others were mere distractions.
It was then that he realized something was wrong. All the dark power of his Dao in that body began to fade. Only at that moment did he notice, startled, that his eyes had violet lines.
"Mental power?" He murmured in surprise. How could such a weak mental power invade him outside his senses?
But he merely scoffed, burning in exchange for power all the energy of the mind, life, and soul of that human. The body wasn’t his, and the mind that was invaded wasn’t his. He was just a divine will and fragment of a soul. He couldn’t be invaded. Now that he realized it, he just needed to burn and ignore it.
But...
As he thought about this, he felt something bitter and shocking. Turning around in fear, he saw all the draconic beasts backing away. Then, a blue female figure with large exposed curves began to walk slowly towards him.
"Soul Eater?" He immediately recognized the demon race.
She smiled lightly, and an Empyrean rune lit up on her forehead. With a wave, a grayish horn floated beside her. It was her fallen horn, one of the best weapons used by Soul Eaters. Although it couldn’t compare to the power of her lord’s runic weapons, it had unique properties.
The space behind Calirer distorted, and her manifestation was activated. The grayish horn trembled. Suddenly, the horn seemed to absorb all the power of the manifestation, concentrating it.
The Shadow God’s eyes widened, and he felt a primal fear take over his being. The grayish horn ignited in black and demonic flames, growing like a black sun.
"Manifestation of the Demonic Flame," Calirer said softly and waved her hand.
A black fireball moved with annihilating and unstoppable momentum. The Shadow God trembled; this was no joke. Demonic flames were truly terrifying and legendary, used only by a few demonic races in a life-or-death attack. Clearly, a desperate blow that would kill them.
She managed to manifest this? He couldn’t believe it. Obviously, all demons had tried to create something this legendary, but it was never known that anyone actually succeeded.
He roared furiously. He couldn’t be hit by that; the body would obviously die, but his will and a small part of his soul still controlled this body. They would be burned, and terrible damage would happen to his true self. Without hesitation, he tried to move... but the body seemed stuck in place...
He saw, horrified, that almost invisible white lines were wrapped around him. "Divine silk? Shit."
He spat and scoffed, trying to activate all his power at once. His intention was to burn everything and release his will and soul from the body. He wasn’t willing to suffer unnecessary damage in this fight.
But suddenly, the human’s eyes, along with his entire existence, became cloudy and distorted.
Above, a small wyvern with blue scales was covered in strange and mystical runes. A terrifying power, capable of affecting even a deity, was used to its fullest.
It lasted a second. When the Shadow God regained consciousness, he realized he was no longer in the world where he was fighting.
"Disappear." A dry voice sounded, and that was the last thing he heard.

Suddenly, in a very distant place, a demonic figure opened his red eyes. At that moment, his whole body trembled, and he began to vomit black blood abundantly.

Countless demons ran desperately to his side, taking several seconds for him to stop vomiting. Then, he quickly tried to formulate words... but a void permeated his mind.
"What? I don’t remember what happened?" He murmured, in complete shock. It was impossible not to remember, even if his soul and will were destroyed; the memories should return to the body.
However, he only remembered that a follower summoned him. This method of summoning was taught only to important people, and if he was summoned, it meant it was something urgent.
"My power... it was absorbed? That’s impossible!!!"

Back in the sealed world, the whale was behind the human, with his hand on his head. He made a move, removed a spatial ring, and then threw the body into the black flame above.
Everything was burned without a trace left. The soul was practically destroyed by the Shadow God himself, and there was nothing to be collected from the memories. But what was important had already been recovered.
"Good job," the whale said softly to everyone. It was great teamwork.
In the next moment, Ruri’s Dao collapsed. The whale opened his arms, and she appeared, hugging him, already fainted.
All the draconic beasts and Runula returned to the beast world. Everyone fought intensely and suffered many injuries, but no one died, and it all ended well.
When they met again in the sealed world, there were no more battles. The whole group had finished everything, and no disciples of the Shadow God sect remained in that place. The total battle lasted just over an hour, the longest being the confrontation with the divine manifestation.
"Let’s go," the whale said calmly to everyone.
They nodded happily and moved together, heading towards the center of the place. Then, they entered the true Desolate Battlefield.
