That single central sealed world had an area of just a few kilometers, a distance a divine cultivator could cover quickly. At its center, there was a region where everything was distorted and chaotic, filled with spatial laws. This place was the true treasure of the entire Desolate Battlefield, being the epicenter of the past world-destroying battle.

Thanks to the memories of that demon, Alm and Bruno already knew about this place. In fact, that demon knew this central area in detail because he had used it before for cultivation. The inner and outer areas, he only knew superficially, having no interest in exploring them deeply.

At the center of this place, there was a distorted and chaotic area created by spatial laws. It seemed to be only one or two kilometers, but in reality, it was as large as all the sealed worlds combined. Just approaching that place was a brutal training for the body, soul, and will.

All the disciples who came to this central world tried to get as close as possible, but only the greatest geniuses could really enter it. All the others stayed just outside.

According to the demon’s memories, among the current disciples in this place, there was only one person capable of entering there. A human who was once a heroic disciple of the Shadow God sect. He was named before Dem Zarn was brought by the Chaos Dragon Yang and lost his position after that.

The demon knew very little about the other heroic disciples, as they were all at a higher cultivation realm or kept secret by the sect. Only Dem Zarn and this human were at a cultivation level close to his. But for some unknown reason, Dem Zarn did not come to the secret world.

Alm and Bruno were almost sure he was in secluded cultivation; certainly, the Chaos Dragon Yang had given him his other reverse scales to absorb.

As soon as the whale’s group arrived, they wasted no time. All the demons outside the chaotic area were alerted and looked up. Then, they saw a small human floating and radiating an aura so shocking they forgot to breathe.

Ruri waved, and an infinite spatial power floated around her. These were the spatial laws she had recently absorbed, and she obviously had very little control over them. But just putting it out and attacking a gigantic target was not a problem. The target was, obviously, the chaotic zone.

**BOOM!!!**

A sea of blades fell on the place, breaking the space and then being absorbed inside, disappearing.

Everyone trembled, for that certainly invaded the place and disturbed the only person inside. It didn’t take a minute for all the sect’s disciples to receive a summons.

A shadowy figure emerged from the place, making a black mist cover everything and slowly devour all light.

Everyone drew their weapons and leaped into the sky in unison. There were almost a thousand red disciples, the highest levels of the Shadow God sect. When they all activated their full power, a Conqueror’s rune appeared simultaneously on the foreheads of nearly a hundred of them.

The whale’s entire group was around Ruri and saw that sea of terrible opponents. Due to the whale’s speech before this, and their new understanding of the battle’s objective, none of them got agitated.

Not only that, but there was also that round figure standing in front of all of them. Just by observing him, it gave them an unlimited boost and security. He was their invincible god. As long as he was present, no matter how pessimistic the situation was, he would be able to lead them to victory. That was their unshakable belief.

The whale stood at the front with his robes gently fluttering. His firm face was completely calm, and his eyes held a reserved light. No one could tell what he was thinking.

Those enemy disciples were practically 90% demons. They approached, and the atmosphere began to get tense like a drawn bow. The air grew heavier.

"Are you the idiots from the Yinblood sect? Well, I didn’t expect you to have real courage. Did you come to sacrifice yourselves to end the conflict? Because it looks like you want to fight? Your current actions seem more like a praying mantis trying to stop a carriage."

A scornful voice came from a distant spot on the ground. The voice wasn’t particularly loud, yet it resonated through the sky and earth. It was as if the world echoed with his words. Everyone turned in his direction and saw a human in black robes with a malicious look.

He let out a dry laugh and murmured, "Who would’ve thought I’d have such great luck. The one who dared to blaspheme against the Shadow God has fallen into my hands... I’ll finally have my chance to reclaim my position."

The whale watched him closely, and internally, Alm and Bruno noticed something hidden that made them rethink all their plans. After a second, the whale responded softly.

"Indeed, your luck is immense."

As soon as he spoke, everyone in his group drew their weapons. Their auras grew and sharpened, making the enemies feel suffocated.

"Pathetic, kill them all! I only want the human and the woman!"

That human roared, and all the demons roared with him, shaking off the strange feeling they had. They attacked furiously like a destructive swarm.

Sounds of mechanical parts moving were heard. Then, Thea moved with a huge cannon on her shoulder pointed at the attacking army below.

**BANG!**

A massive cannonball was fired. It was only a foot long when it came out, but it quickly grew. By the time it landed among the enemies, it had grown to three hundred meters. It was a giant bomb.

Thea had significantly improved her power since the last battle. Now, she used simple spatial runes to shrink the cannonball. This way, she didn’t need a giant cannon.

**BOOM!**

It was like a beautiful firework exploding in the demon army. Sharp, deadly blades flew in all directions. These blades were inscribed with Yang runes, and with the power of the explosion behind them, even these disciples couldn’t block them. Even with their tough skin, the flying blades cut through their flesh. If they didn’t hit the bone, they kept going all the way through their bodies.

There were many blades, and the targets were very concentrated. Nearly two hundred had their heads pierced, and their bodies exploded. Among them, there were a dozen Conquerors.

**Bang! Bang! Bang!**

In sync, another metallic figure shot repeatedly. Then everyone heard a cracking sound that made their world spin.

"What?!"

As the bloody mist spread, everyone widened their eyes. There was no sign of those Conquerors resurrecting. They were completely wiped out.

Thea’s power was indefensible for a physical body. Now, with Zaimo’s new manifestation absorbing the power of the environment, the two together were working lethally and could now kill a Conqueror.

"Come on, come on! It’s been a while since I had a real fight!"

A voice sounded, followed by the image of a gigantic rainbow Divine Ring illuminating the darkness. Corin was already in the midst of the demons, and his spear pierced a Conqueror.

**CRACK!**

That thrust was sudden and completely unstoppable. That demon simply exploded into a bloody mist. The powerful attack shook everyone, then a golden rune appeared.

"Die!"

Corin’s spear pulsed with multicolored power, and he thrust again. Everyone felt their hearts stop. The golden rune completely exploded, and another Conqueror died.

**BOOM! BOOM!**

They turned to the side, feeling explosions and immense heat. They soon saw a green woman spinning a white halberd and attacking swiftly. Bodies exploded before her, but they saw that they weren’t just ordinary disciples. Two Conquerors exploded too, and she simply attacked again. The result was another two Conquerors being eliminated.

Corin and Lansha, after receiving their new weapons, had gained power capable of completely killing Conquerors.

**Whooosh!!**

A colossal water dragon opened its mouth and swallowed the middle of the enemies. Venjio attacked head-on with his manifestation active. All the disciples, completely in shock, quickly activated all their power, waking up too late. They were all just True Empyreans, and almost two-thirds of them died with that single move.

Until a figure appeared behind Venjio like a dark ghost, slashing his neck. The whale narrowed his eyes; that wasn’t an ordinary power.

’It’s a Divine Dao. That’s power coming from the Shadow God,’ Bruno quickly said, feeling a different kind of faith power coming from it.

That figure appeared so suddenly that no one could react. His sword was covered in a dark aura, already slicing from a blind spot; Venjio wouldn’t be able to dodge. This power came from a mighty God and could definitely kill a Conqueror.

The sword fell right on Venjio’s neck. He turned, and a layer of ice covered him. The dark figure sneered.

"Die!"

Venjio laughed, realizing something. Without any fear, he smoothly moved his katana. A blue light shot out, meeting the dark blade.

"Trying to compete with the invincible power of the Shadow God? Hahahah!" The human on the ground laughed loudly.

But the stealth attacker’s hair stood on end as the bluish light from the katana cut through. He quickly swung his sword, about to summon his manifestation. However, his whole body trembled, and an expression of absolute terror appeared on his face. He froze.

**CLANG! BOOOM!**

The two weapons clashed. The dark blade shattered in half. Then, the katana sliced through his body, and he exploded like a watermelon, filling the air with his black blood.

The human shouted in shock. "WHAT?! Impossible!"

"Is this the power of your Shadow Dog?"

Venjio spoke without emotion, then turned, commanding the water dragon and attacking again. He couldn’t kill the Conquerors, but his hidden partners could from behind.

The whale glanced at Ruri’s side and saw a small half-wyvern girl smiling faintly. She didn’t say anything, and no one else could sense what she had done.

Runula had only absorbed a part of the heritage but was already an extremely powerful existence now. She silently helped kill, attacking the enemy’s soul and breaking through their defenses. But she wasn’t the only one who could do this stealthily.

Rivine and Quirio were fighting at the front of the enemies, and Nixis was nearby, playing his zither. His music affected the laws around the two; Quirio used earth laws to be a shield, and Rivine used wind laws to kill at high speed.

With Nixis’s support, their laws became much easier to use; the strings of that zither had a connection with the celestial laws, making the natural laws practically surrender to them without resistance.

They were massacring the True Empyreans. Whenever a Conqueror approached or something more dangerous appeared, a black dagger would silently kill them, or they’d be cut in half without explanation.

Rehvka could move and kill without being seen, and Kaiyka attacked so quickly that no one could see her drawing the katana and slicing. Both, just like before, easily killed the Conquerors if an opening appeared.

**HAAAAAAAA!**

A small Fey, in a violent frenzy, roared in the midst of the enemies. With a move, some weaker ones exploded; others hastily blocked, scared. But right after blocking, they felt something penetrate their bodies, and a green line appeared in their eyes.

"No..."

Miserable screams sounded. Those who didn’t die to Ambry were poisoned by an arrow. Kisala was right behind with her bow, running swiftly and avoiding being surrounded. But the large mass was blocked by Ambry, with hidden blood thorns attacking from the void to protect the Feral Fey.

Ambry was the frontline, and Kisala took advantage of the opening when the stronger ones managed to block. Idris, however, was not focused on killing but on protecting Kisala while collecting the enemies’ blood and accumulating power.

Then some Conquerors moved to surround and try to block the small Fey.

"DIE!"

Despite being in an insane state, she didn’t kill ants with all her power. The moment the powerful Conquerors approached, her axe lit up, and her power multiplied several times.

The Conquerors couldn’t withstand it and exploded. When golden runes appeared, a poisoned arrow and a blood thorn pierced simultaneously. The runes were paralyzed for a second. Then, Ambry roared, and her axe spun, flying from her hand with the repulsion seal being used.

**CRACK!**

A strange energy permeated the three attacks, and the runes exploded, completely killing the Conquerors. This was the Dao of the Fey Goddess, and the three Feys worked together, combining their powers as if they came from the same source. Now, the three young ones fighting together had acquired the power to kill Conquerors.

The fight began quickly, and all these initial moves occurred within the first two minutes. Finally, the human on the ground realized the abyss he was in and his expression sank.

"BASTARDS! Form defense and attack groups. Advance from all directions; they can’t block you!"

As the human roared, the nearly seven hundred enemies snapped out of their stupor and organized, activating their manifestations in sync and coordination.

All the manifestations were varied, but there were clear patterns among them. Not everyone was creative or talented enough to create very complex things. They just made something common that could greatly enhance a specific battle attribute or law they used.

These manifestations were very straightforward and focused solely on making them stronger, meaning everyone in the whale’s group could almost instantly gauge what would come out of a manifestation with about 90% accuracy.

No one in the whale’s group was inexperienced in battle to that extent. Even the young Feys had been through a lot and were trained to the limit, so no one needed to worry about them. They also had many attack and escape methods with their rune seals.

Among the enemies, most were demons, and they didn’t dare to use their full power knowing there was a Mara in the whale’s group. This meant they were fighting at a maximum of 60% strength. Even with a nearly tenfold advantage in cultivators, the whale’s group was tough to handle.

But there were many of them, and after the human started commanding them, by the third minute of battle, things stabilized. The human smiled coldly. Now it was a war of attrition, just a matter of time.

"Hahahaha! Starting to feel scared? Don’t worry, you won’t die easily." The human shouted loudly.

He didn’t move to fight. The whale, Ruri, Runula, and a beautiful blue demoness stood calmly watching everything. He wouldn’t lower himself to attack the ’servants’ if the leader hadn’t attacked. Alm and Bruno just smiled inwardly; the way these idiots acted was always simple and predictable.

Then, in the sky, a distortion occurred, catching the human’s attention.

He focused upwards and only now saw a figure with two pairs of beastly wings, floating silently. His cold yellow eyes watched the battle. Soon, a bloodline manifestation flourished in the world, and in that second, all the demons felt a chill.

"Fear."

Maelik’s dry voice sounded. Immediately, everyone in the group fighting felt, through the array, a dark energy touch and cover them.

Their bodies were enveloped in a soft black aura. The moment this appeared, all the demons felt their bodies shudder.

**BOOM!!**

With a simple move from anyone in the whale’s group, the demons who had managed to stabilize the fight now exploded without defenses. The few non-demons couldn’t do anything either.

That was Maelik’s manifestation. The demons just chose not to use the power of their bloodlines? It didn’t matter; he created a method to affect them when they were touched by his manifestation’s power. With the array, everyone in the group gained a part of this. As soon as the demons were touched, their body energies destabilized.

A minute later, the human’s eyes were red with intense rage. A fight? This turned into a one-sided massacre. More than half the disciples died in minutes, and he felt the whale’s group hadn’t lost even a third of their power. If this continued, they’d be defeated.

"Fuck it!" The human roared, and his cultivation ignited.

The whale turned to him slowly. Then they saw him take a small black object from a spatial ring.

Alm and Bruno had been waiting for this. From the moment this human appeared, Bruno sensed a hidden power in him. And this power gave them a subtle pressure. They initially thought of attacking him with full force and killing him by surprise before he could use it, but they felt a mortal danger from that; the only way was to force him to reveal it first.

"You chose to be eliminated by the Shadow God himself. You’ll regret this forever!"

His words sounded as his eyes and body were engulfed by a dark aura.

"DIVINE MANIFESTATION!"

At that second, the light in his eyes went out, and Alm and Bruno felt the human’s soul enter a coma.

But his body... his eyes shone darkly, and a terrifying divine presence took over. It was the Shadow God.
