"Sir, what’s your name?"

"Sir, where do you come from?"

"Sir..."

The whale cut in sharply. "Shut up. You ask too many questions. When the time comes, if you deserve it, you’ll know."

The boy nodded dejectedly. "But..."

"You wanted to repay, right? Then start talking. I know from your memories the basic structure of the Gloom planet. Tell me everything you know about each clan and the sect," Alm said coldly since Bruno couldn’t bring himself to be harsh with someone so childish.

Basically, the Gloom planet is governed by seven powers. Each power lives in a specific location shrouded in mystery; Idris quickly confirmed that not even he had any idea what the seven places really were. It’s only through these places that an invincible inheritance is collected. Obviously, Alm and Bruno knew that the seven places must be seven seals that seal the Chaos Dragon.

In the center of the planet, in the middle of the gigantic black forest, is where the Yinblood sect rules. It is the immense force that dominates and controls all the Fey clans. It’s a gigantic region of the planet where practically 90% of the sacred inheritance of the planet is received.

In the other six locations, the six largest Fey clans govern and take care of much smaller areas. Idris’s Blood Tears Fey clan is just a median clan that lives in the black forest alongside hundreds of other different clans.

Alm and Bruno moved all the time, using their divine souls to sense the location of everything around them. They asked Idris questions, but he didn’t know much, after all, he was just a member of a median clan. At one point, the whale stopped and leaped to a nearby tall hill.

Idris was confused and jumped by his side. Then, following the whale’s gaze, he saw from afar an extremely tall and skinny Fey. He was almost 1.90 meters and had no wings, which was very unusual for Feys. He was struggling with a plant full of black roots that trapped him in a prison dozens of meters high, preventing his escape.

Despite being trapped, that Fey miraculously dodged all the roots piercing out of the ground in all directions. Alm and Bruno were amazed at the agility and extreme speed of this Fey. Despite being young, he was burning his bloodline and becoming almost untouchable.

He cut the roots with a short and light sword, but Alm and Bruno felt poison being subtly used with each attack, penetrating through the enemy’s roots and slowly corroding him.

"He’s part of the Feral Fey clan," Idris explained softly. "There are two supreme clans that live in the great central black forest. You must know the adaptation nature of my race; unlike common Feys that adapt to the elemental environment, the Feral Fey have shaped their bodies for physical combat due to the wild competition in the black forest. They are supreme experts in combat agility."

The whale nodded, genuinely impressed. He had never seen a Fey mold itself for physical combat. Usually, all Feys are pure beings and physically fragile creatures that merge with natural elements, fighting with techniques that avoid direct contact; this clan is the opposite. They don’t use any elements, fighting head-on using...

’Hmm... interesting, they focus on fighting using and abusing their weapons and combat dexterity. Definitely, it’s a gap for our Forge God Dao to shine,’ Bruno reflected, getting excited.

Idris felt the subtle excitement of the whale and said, "He’s just a man from that clan. In fact, the women are much more agile and extreme. Men are naturally less fast, but they have slightly better physical resistance, so they fight head-on using light weapons. But the clan’s specialty is only fully revealed by the women; they fight from a distance using bows or flying weapons."

The whale simply observed the fight. When the clan’s maximum power is used, it’s very difficult to deal with their speed, which temporarily keeps them alive. In return, the attack power drops drastically. That’s why all Feys from this clan cultivate an internal poisonous rune; this way, they can abuse their speed and, with powerful poison, defeat even the most powerful opponents. It was a terrifying and invincible combination if the opponent couldn’t hit them.

It took several minutes until the Fey defeated the carnivorous plant, poisoning it. Idris smiled slightly in admiration, but the whale just sighed. In that instant, Idris saw a subtle shadow emerge behind the Fey.

There was no blood or explosions. The shadow simply grew suddenly in size and swallowed the Fey. There was no fight at all, and in less than five seconds, they saw a lifeless body falling to the ground.

The shadow dispersed, revealing the assassin. He was a very ordinary-looking human, but on his forehead, a black symbol was clear.

Idris took a deep breath and spoke, filled with bitterness and pain, "He’s from the Shadow God in the Skies sect... what a stroke of bad luck..."

At that moment, Alm and Bruno narrowed their eyes. That human began to use a technique they knew a little about: necromancy.

It took a few minutes, and suddenly the dead Fey rose smoothly. Idris and the whale were surprised together. That Fey had clearly died, but now he exuded a completely normal vitality, and his aura was completely the same as when he was alive.

’A necromancer with powers much superior to anything we’ve seen before. This Queen’s universe always surprises us,’ Bruno mentally scoffed.

Alm, who felt everything clearly because of his Yin technique, analyzed: ’He placed another soul inside the body, something prepared in advance. Then his technique made the soul completely assimilate the body as if it were the original owner... probably the body’s memories merged with that soul, and he became a perfect substitute who might even believe he’s the original.’

It was a perfect technique for dark methods, which sparked Alm’s greed to learn more about it. But Bruno would certainly never allow him to use something similar.

The necromancer just nodded, probably giving mental orders, then the shadow covered him and he disappeared completely. Meanwhile, that Fey just stood still for a few seconds and closed his eyes. The next moment, he opened them and moved calmly in one direction as if he were truly the original owner of the body.

"Let’s go," the whale spoke quickly to Idris and moved.

Alm and Bruno marked that necromancer. His technique used Yin to conceal himself, which was nothing for Alm. They decided to follow him to see where this would lead. They stayed very distant, and that cultivator would never even feel he was being followed, but with their divine soul, they could easily see his actions from an unbelievable distance.

Shortly after, by luck, there was another tall mound nearby. So Idris and the whale managed to see the events from a high and distant point. They saw a male Fey, almost one meter and sixty centimeters tall, attacking a blood-red tree. He wielded a massive heavy saber, swinging it and attacking as if it were a stick. Each of his strikes was thunderous and devastating.

"He’s from the Barbarian Fey Clan, the second clan that dominates the black forest. They’re similar to the Feral Fey, but they’ve developed in another direction. They’re specialized in physical combat, based on strength and brute power," Idris explained fearfully.

This Fey was short for a human and had wings, physically much more similar to a conventional Fey. He didn’t have big muscles, nor did he look powerful; physically, the only difference from a common Fey were his ears, which were very protruding and larger than an Elf’s.

But, despite appearing fragile, his physical power was completely abnormal. Alm and Bruno felt that the saber he used was as heavy as Fides, but he used it as if it required no effort.

The fight was straightforward, without any technique, just brute and wild power coming from that Fey. It lasted a few minutes, and the Fey won... but the final result was his death. The human shrouded in shadows repeated the same procedure and won without any chance of defense for the Fey.

The necromancer raised that Fey again. The whale and Idris followed the necromancer’s steps for the rest of the day, seeing almost two dozen Feys being killed, all belonging only to those two clans. When the first day of the test came to an end, the movements stopped. The necromancer withdrew to a distant location as if waiting for something.

At that moment, Alm chuckled inwardly mischievously. ’The necromancer likes to play dirty to reap big profits. And I like it.’

Idris didn’t need to say; these two Fey clans lived close in the black forest, divided only by the Yinblood sect. They had similar powers but were opposites in type, and that probably reflected in their personalities. These two clans were definitely long-time rivals who hated each other, something quite common among cultivators.

’The necromancer is stirring up a large-scale conflict between the two clans, planting rotten seeds. Indeed, a good plan, with many potential profits,’ Bruno said calmly. ’For us, of course.’

Alm and Bruno struck gold. The two most powerful Fey clans on the planet Gloom specialized in physical combat, and both used weapons and not elemental techniques. They gained an excellent opportunity to forge bonds in both clans, which would be very useful.

As they thought about it excitedly, they suddenly felt a great commotion nearby. "It’s starting already, let’s go," the whale said to Idris, who was pensive.

As they approached, they climbed another tall and distant hill. ’We’re having a lot of luck with the terrain here,’ Bruno thought, and immediately saw thousands of Feys gathered ahead with fierce looks. They were obviously only people from the two clans.

Their physical difference was huge. On the side of the Feral Fey, they were all still young, but at least 1.75 meters tall and very slender. Their hair had the same colors as humans, although black was rarer. They had eyes with slit pupils, with colors ranging from light blue to green and occasionally brown. The pointed ears were similar to those of elves, but a little taller, resembling more cat ears. Because they didn’t have wings, their initial appearance might resemble elves a bit, but the aura they emanated was opposite, reflecting their fierce and wild nature.

On the other side, members of the Barbarian Fey Clan had a common height for a Fey, ranging from 1.45 to 1.60 meters. They all had wings of various colors, resembling fairy wings. Their hair was light in color, close to blue or white, and they all had green eyes similar to humans. Their very large ears drew a lot of attention, giving them an easily recognizable characteristic. In a battle state, the aura they emanated resembled that of an orc warrior, contrasting with their delicate appearance and creating a peculiar and unique impression.

The whale’s eyes swept over them, seeing that they had gathered promptly; this could only be the work of a leader. They looked for the two leaders and quickly saw two figures clearly standing out... in that second, Bruno froze.

"Idris..." Bruno spoke fearfully to Idris, already feeling it from the whale. "Who leads the young of these two clans... are those two girls?"

He answered promptly. "Yes. They’re the two most outstanding and talented of this generation from the two clans and..."

"How old are they?" Bruno cut in sharply.

"Hm? The Feral Fey named Kisala is 12. The Barbarian Fey named Ambry is 11." He spoke slowly, somewhat doubtful.

An awkward silence lingered between them. But internally, Bruno almost roared in frustration.

Alm said lightly. ’Congratulations, you managed to find two lolis right away. One is quite tall... but cheer up, the other is the classic and very childish type.’

’Fuck you!’ Bruno spat.
