The whale watched the hero, completely terrified, and just smiled, hiding its exhaustion. They weren’t one single person anymore, due to the great wear and tear, they separated again without even realizing it.

Alm and Bruno had the power to choose the exact location where the miracle would take them in this universe; obviously, they selected the last place where they had memories of being there.

It was a shot in the dark; if they failed, they would face serious problems in taking down this hero, but they had no other choice. They didn’t know if their old bodies would still be there; maybe Heaven’s Will had done something, as they didn’t witness the process that took them away. They remembered that, in the past, during the confrontation with the Queen’s will in the universe where they became a Cerberus, she claimed to have given orders to invade this universe, but nothing was found. (Chapter 205)

As for the reason, they imagined: A cultivator in the immortal realms didn’t have that name for nothing; upon reaching that realm, all life energy, Qi, or anything else in the body never naturally disappeared. Because of this, the body could literally live forever, as long as it wasn’t killed by something external.

Even after death, this body still retained all its internal power sealed within it. It was as if it was one with the world, the Qi, and the celestial laws, with no fluctuations coming from it. The universe is immense, and their bodies are practically undetectable. Finding them in the midst of this emptiness would take a long time, or they would have to rely on luck.

Heroes hardly wasted so much time here without knowing exactly what they were looking for. The most likely scenario was that they searched for any sign of life, and as they found nothing, simply left.

Luck was on their side. As soon as they arrived, while the hero was stunned, they separated a part of their soul and sent it to the location, burning much of their divine energy to be quick. It didn’t take them even two minutes to find him. Their old body was there, waiting for them, exactly where they left it.

"Let’s see what’s left of you without that bitch’s power," Bruno said dryly to the hero, controlling the whale.

Meanwhile, Alm was completely focused on controlling the body with just a minimal fragment of his soul. Controlling it consumed a lot, and he couldn’t manipulate it for long.

In space, the villainous figure covered in a black mist moved. Alm could only make a few movements, but he knew exactly what to destroy.

When the shadowy figure entered the planet, the entire place was engulfed in a suffocating coldness. There was no exchange of words; in the sky, he made a light grabbing motion with his hand. In the same second, it seemed like all the celestial laws of the universe moved together, the black mist covered the hero, sealing him completely.

"See how to seal someone properly," Bruno said emotionlessly.

Inside the hero’s body, a black power directly invaded his mental sea and reached his heroic rune.

Crack!

The hero’s eyes widened, and he trembled, feeling everything perfectly. An indescribable pain took over his being; it was not just physical, he knew he had lost something he would never have again.

From within the hero’s body, a dense golden power began to leak. The whale moved with a spatial rune on its forehead lit up. All the golden power was quickly stored in the inventory; along with it, a dormant will was there. Bruno, without any hesitation, destroyed everything; now that power was all his.

The hero felt his mind clear amidst the shock; the dominance rune in his mind was undone. His free will returned, but he couldn’t move an inch of his body. At that moment, he heard the whale’s words.

"You were controlled by her to do everything she wanted. But in that universe, no one is born completely mentally chained. Before becoming a hero, you deliberately sought this. And to gain that power, you had to prove your loyalty and talent over others."

Bruno’s words were sharp and hit like a bolt in that man’s mind. "You were deluded by the pursuit of power and competition. I won’t take personally what you’ve done; she wouldn’t want that either. But the karma of your choice must be paid. Take this lesson to your next life, no matter how long it takes."

As soon as the whale finished speaking, the black mist completely covered the hero. Then, his body and life transformed into ashes. His soul emerged, but the mist extinguished its power and immediately sealed it. In the next second, a black sphere formed with the soul inside, then it sank into the earth to a distant and inaccessible place.

After reaching the Wuji, Alm and Bruno felt the cycle of incarnations and knew it was possible to reach it. The queen could certainly retrieve that soul before it reincarnated, and thus see its memories. They couldn’t reveal their identity now, so they sealed that soul.

He would remain trapped indefinitely, prevented from reincarnating; that would be his punishment. They could have been sadistic and left him awake in eternal torture, but they chose to destroy the power of his soul so that he would only sleep. Even Thea in the past had been an enemy hero and caused a lot of harm to Rehvka and the entire universe. This hero’s situation was different, but they couldn’t label him as purely evil; after all, they themselves had done far worse a thousand times over. He made his mistakes, but everyone deserves a chance at a fresh start.

The shadowy figure returned to space and closed his eyes. At that moment, Alm spoke in a tired tone, "He’s lucky that Ruri can still be saved. Or no matter what you said, I would have slowly destroyed his soul."

Bruno sighed and agreed; even he wouldn’t have forgiven this hero if the Behemoth hadn’t warned them about it.

The whale looked around. The whole planet was floating in the dark, dry void, without sun, light, or any source of life. How would the people here live?

"Don’t worry, he’s already started the process," Gaia spoke softly in their minds.

In that exact moment, Alm and Bruno felt a change in the celestial laws of this universe. They knew everything there and nothing could escape their senses. It took seconds... then the entire cosmos and universe trembled.

At the same time, countless small bright points appeared in all directions around the planet. Quickly, the whale widened its eyes. "That’s the law of chaos. How did he..."

Gaia responded as if letting out a heavy sigh, "As soon as we arrived, he left, but he left his final message explaining everything. His entire existence was created at the beginning of a universe, formed by the heavenly laws, born from the purest power of a law he couldn’t quite define. But he was certain that this unknown law was the foundation of everything, older than even the laws of chaos… or perhaps even the heavenly laws themselves. In short, he sacrificed himself to convert everything back to its origin and nourish this universe. That way, life here can start over from zero, recreating the beginning of a universe."

After a few seconds, Alm and Bruno noticed that it wasn’t just around this planet. A vast and gigantic area covered more than half of the universe, with the purest law of chaos. If left there, naturally following the celestial laws, it would create stars, galaxies, and natural life would restart.

This universe was much smaller and simpler compared to the queen’s universe. With all the power of the Behemoth being converted into the law of chaos, it would be enough for this place to one day restore 60% of what it once was.

Gaia continued seriously, "The Behemoth’s soul has fused with this universe’s heavenly laws. With his experience and mastery, he will slowly burn his own existence to block any external entry. He assured me that his soul had enough energy to keep the queen from entering this universe for five thousand years in her universe’s time. If she tries to force her way in, he will use everything he has to stop her. However, she won’t be able to unleash her full power, or the entire universe will collapse, and she will lose everything. In that case, her only option would be to open the passage slowly... but that would shorten the five thousand years the Behemoth has given you. Use this time to grow... and stay discreet, so she doesn’t personally move to come here."

Alm and Bruno sighed heavily. The Behemoth did what he promised; he spared nothing and placed all his chips on them. Only he could do what he did; this primordial divine beast sacrificed itself completely to pave their way. Now, this universe that they themselves killed had been given a second chance. And they who destroyed it were its protectors and responsible for maintaining it.

"Sir... if you don’t do something quickly, I feel like I won’t survive much longer," Gaia finished with a fearful and weakened voice.

The whale nodded understandingly and floated into space. The law of chaos that covered everything would initiate life again, but it would take millions of years; the people of this planet and Gaia itself didn’t have that time. But that wouldn’t be a problem.

They only had a basic knowledge of the laws of chaos, as it hardly existed in one universe, but now they received an immense gift and could study it in practice. In this universe, they were the law, and they knew everything about it. If they had more knowledge about this law, they could use it and would literally be like gods capable of creating almost anything their imagination allowed.

All they needed was knowledge; but the manipulative Heaven’s Will had handed them this opportunity a long time ago. With a thought, the green screen appeared. (Chapter 408)

They bought it without hesitation. In the same moment, their minds were flooded with primordial knowledge of the beginning of everything. It took them a few hours to comprehend only 5%, but that was already enough.

They approached their old body floating. This time, the whale touched his shoulder, and their souls connected completely. Fighting like this was almost impossible, but they could still use the body for other things. With a thought and using all the power of that body, the laws of chaos around the planet Pristine stirred.

All mortals on the planet, including the people of the city, looked up as they felt death and cold slowly approaching. Gaia was burning all his energies to keep the people alive for a short period of time; but he was already out of strength.

Almin watched that shadowy figure in space next to the whale with complicated feelings. No one knew what had happened and where they were, but seeing that figure, Almin was certain of everything.

He looked and felt the laws around. That was his old universe and home, but there was no sign of life. His brother really turned everything into ashes; knowing about it and seeing it personally was different. ’How much pain and suffering he caused... certainly as much for others as for himself...’ His mind reflected now not with hatred, but with regret.

It was suddenly that the whale and the shadowy figure in the skies moved and waved together.

All forms of life saw the cosmos and celestial laws stir. Then the gray mist slowly accumulated. After a few minutes, a colossal sphere a thousand times larger than that planet formed.

The whale moved it far away... it stopped at an exact and calculated point, they followed the knowledge of the celestial laws, and a bit of the knowledge of physics and astronomy from Earth.

In the next second, the light of life turned on, and a new sun began to radiate its brightness and warmth again. That was the first and the landmark of the restart, both for that universe and for that villain who was now responsible for protecting all of it.
