The two patriarchs were paralyzed, and their Qi refused to circulate correctly. Their spiritual roots seemed to disconnect from the laws, and both quickly fell to the ground in a daze.

Seconds passed, then when the color returned to the world, they felt a massive amount of infernal laws being devoured at a distant point. Both still couldn’t rise to the heavens, and they were far away; they could only see and faintly feel the movement.

After a minute, they saw in astonishment a trembling black pillar, resembling a flame, rising in the sky. They squinted and saw, unbelievably, a round figure in the center of it, ascending into the clouds higher and higher.

He was completely red and battered as if a giant beast had trampled him. But, on his back, the scarlet shadow of ten infernal wings was clear as day. Only then did the patriarchs notice that the Whale was holding two adults under his arms, and there was a little girl clinging to his neck, along with another boy.

They felt the laws returning to normal, and the connection to the heavens was restored. But immediately, the Whale, from the heights of the clouds, burst with energy along with the black power and his own blood. He soared to an abnormal height and, thanks to the explosive black power, shot like a cannonball, falling in a high-speed direction.

The patriarchs huffed with all their might and activated their cultivations to the limit, running. Their speed was extreme, but the Whale, after climbing so high, seemed to be heading to a specific place. The two didn’t even think about ignoring it as they followed.

A swift pursuit followed. The two patriarchs were already far from the Whale, but the distance shortened quickly. They obviously noticed each other’s presence, but chasing the Whale was more important. They crossed a giant sandstorm in no time, shocked to realize that the storm was so intense that it was beyond what was recorded in history.

If they weren’t in the Elemental Condensation Realm, they would have to stop and proceed with caution, or it would be dangerous. Their senses were partially clouded, and they only followed the massive amount of infernal laws; any high elder in the Heaven Stage Realm would die easily in that environment.

It was after a few minutes, when they felt they were just seconds away from the Whale, that their instincts exclaimed. A cold sensation of death fell upon them. Then, a thunderous roar, powerful enough to make them take steps back, made them halt.

Far away, the Whale continued free-falling without looking back. ’Who would’ve thought that this bull-headed beast would end up saving us.’ Bruno commented, feeling the power of the Celestial Laws temporarily draining.

Initially, as they fell, the beast went straight towards them, eager for the opportunity to devour them after they fell from the skies. It was at that moment that Bruno, having recently learned to use the Celestial Laws, felt that they could be useful.

So, he used them while falling directly in the beast’s direction. When those runes struck the beast’s giant body, all its fury seemed to freeze, and its eyes trembled. In the next second, the slave rune on its forehead and eyes lit up and turned to dust completely.

The beast quickly seemed to regain its sanity. And despite its not-so-great intelligence, it could understand that it was liberated by the Whale. So, it decided to help in return.

Minutes later, within the desert city, everyone saw the skies darken with a black cloud invading the territory. All fifteen guardian women ran in fear, with the runic seals of their weapons already ignited.

Yet, what they saw wasn’t an enemy but the figure of the Whale that seemed more dead than alive falling near the castle. The women ran towards them and saw the Whale releasing the entire group it seemed to have carried after almost dying.

All the Montide women jumped and let out muffled screams. They saw Ruri’s unconscious figure on the Whale’s back. Her clothes were almost all torn, and they could see wounds so deep that bones were visible through the holes.

The Whale tried to release Ruri from its body with a shake, but she refused to let go, so they held her and finally noticed her wounded state. When they used the final technique, she was too close, and they had no more earth laws to fully protect her. They only used their bodies as a shield, and that was the result.

So, to Bruno’s surprise, Alm thanked the system for giving them that ’high elf sweat-proof feminine attire.’ That fabric was a powerful shield, which made Ruri’s injuries severe but not lethal.

The Whale just turned to the women and waved, conveying the message that everything was fine. Then, the Whale and Ruri entered the castle, leaving everyone else there.

The women turned to Loeus, who was the only one awake and had tired eyes, as if he had gone to hell and back in a single night, but he had to speak.

Days passed quietly within the desert city. From that night full of phenomena, all the city’s inhabitants seemed to instinctively feel something, and they were even more focused on worshiping the Whale God. A strange law that seemed disconnected from the heavens accumulated more and more in the direction of the Whale, beyond their senses.

On the second day, Langrum woke up renewed. The lack of Yang made her body take much longer to recover. Almin took a week; he was simply physically weak and lacked the youthful vitality in his veins.

After everyone stabilized, they were tense as there were no signs of the Whale or Ruri leaving the castle. Almin was the only one who could enter the castle. The Whale once taught him to use the infernal laws and earth laws through the array, which were the key.

When fifteen days passed, Almin was pressed by Alnia and Detue, receiving many four-ring recovery pills made by them, and went to the castle with Langrum, who didn’t want to show it but was worried.

The duo entered and went to the main hall; the Whale had already deactivated the large space distortion that could make anyone get lost. So, they calmly went up the stairs, and Almin in front opened the doors lightly. As soon as their eyes turned inside, the two were petrified.

With a swift motion, Almin slammed the doors shut, making a thunderous sound. Langrum, who was one step behind him, was completely stunned, and her mind couldn’t process what she saw.

Then, after two seconds, her face contorted, and her eyes ignited with fervent fury. Almin remained silent, unsure of what to say, so he just felt a green hand swing, and he flew to the side without resistance.

CRACK!

Langrum kicked the door with all her strength, and it violently swung open. Inside, the sight was the same as before, not changing a single inch.

Lying on the bed was the unconscious and completely naked Whale, lying on his back.

On his belly was the little girl, clinging tightly to him with a strange smile and a tired expression on her face. Her clothes... there seemed to be only a few scraps of fabric that covered nothing. And running down the Whale’s belly, clearly coming from the little girl and falling down his legs... was a red liquid...

"YOU BEAST!!!" Langrum’s scream sounded like thunder.
