Chapter 245: Talent Cosmic Spice
[Hearing your words, Jade and the others left the Zenith Train with you, standing on the roof of the train carriages.]
[Zero Presence also had the ability to remove the presence of anything near the Zenith Train. It wasn’t just limited to reducing the presence of the train to zero.]
[Of course, if the train were merely Level 11 or Level 21, it might have such limitations. But with a Train Level of 57, the Zenith Train’s train abilities had fewer restrictions and limitations.]
[If enough train fuel or energy was used to activate those train abilities, performing an even more extreme usage of the train ability that wasn’t listed on its ability description was possible.]
[As the entire Zenith Train Crew waited on the train carriage rooftop, you all didn’t have to wait that long.]
[Looking above, a shooting star streaked the sky. The sky wasn’t dark or filled with stars. It wasn’t nighttime yet.]
[The sky above was as clear and blue, almost devoid of any clouds. With the afternoon sun shining brightly, the colorful streak of the shooting star was quite conspicuous, dyeing the clear blue sky with a tint of purple.]
[The purple shooting star wasn’t truly a star, but a meteor containing unknown minerals inside.]
[As the shooting star entered the atmosphere, it inexplicably shattered into countless pieces. The colorful streak of purple was like a light show, the shattered meteor debris was about to fall to different places, dying the clear blue canvas with a purple hue.]
[Looking at the shattered meteor, Morvane inquired, "This should be what we are looking for? That resource that can upgrade Jade and your innate talent from SSS-rank to X-rank?"]
[In response, you nodded, "The meteor contained the Talent Cosmic Spice. Its feature isn’t solely just for innate talents. Improving innate talents to X-rank is merely something that it was capable of due to its nature."]
["From what my Hint Prompt discovered, it’s a very rare resource that was generated in this galaxy. Moreover, this planet is very lucky since the place where Talent Cosmic Spice is formed just happened to include this planet in its trajectory when it traveled through outer space."]
["Not all Talent Cosmic Spice landed on this planet. But a decent number of them would land on this planet every decade. We just happened to be at the time that Talent Cosmic Spice arrived on this planet."]
["Of course, it is no mere coincidence. This Shattered Shooting Star Station wouldn’t have been formed as a mandatory station if not for this Talent Cosmic Spice."]
["Even if I haven’t used Wish Maker and All Stars Aligned to snatch the right for traveling to this station, at least one senior Train Conductor would have this station as their mandatory station."]
["This station has this very special resource, and so, even the World Will wouldn’t be heartless enough to prevent Train Conductors from having this resource. Its uniqueness was more than enough to warrant a mandatory station for this world."]
[Pausing for a while, you continued your explanation, "Talent Cosmic Spice is the very reason why the Genetic Warrior Power System had been developed in this world."]
["Several hundred years ago, the scientists of this world obtained samples of the talent cosmic spice and discovered what they were capable of."]
["Talent Cosmic Spice has two abilities, and it’s random in some ways. The first capability it has is to improve the talent of any carbon-based lifeforms that ingest it."]
["If a talentless trash were to ingest it, as long as they managed to digest the talent cosmic spice well and didn’t suffer from any rejection, their talent would greatly improve. The talent improvement could manifest in two ways."]
["If it were biological or genetic, then they’ll become a martial art or combat genius. But if it’s intellectual and biased towards developing the brain, it will manifest by transforming even a dull kid who doesn’t know arithmetics into a prodigy who could create artificial intelligence."]
["However, aside from that first capability, it’s also possible for the talent cosmic spice to react in someone’s body in a way that they’ll awaken an innate talent."]
[Recalling the information you’ve acquired from the hint prompt, you added, "From what I know, aside from World Will of the home planets of Train Conductors like Jade and myself, the most reliable way to awaken an innate talent is by using talent cosmic spice."]
["As for why it’s called talent cosmic spice, it’s due to it being first discovered by a certain alien civilization and using it, they’ve managed to become a Type 2 Civilization."]
["Since its discovery, it has been used as a seasoning for the food of their offspring, ensuring that the new generation would be absolutely talented."]
["Due to the usage of the talent cosmic spice as food seasoning, it has been labeled as such. It also seemed like a spice created from the cosmos; it tastes truly spicy to the point it could cause the entire body to heat up."]
["As long as one wasn’t lucky enough to experience rejection and incompatibility with the talent cosmic spice, anyone can repeatedly eat it."]
["Of course, the talent cosmic spice has its limitations. Its limit is that it can only upgrade talents and innate talents to X-rank. If not for such a limit, then the alien civilization that had discovered this wouldn’t have been just a Type 2 Civilization but might have even become a Type 3 Civilization."]
[Hearing your explanation, Morvane and the others were looking forward to this talent cosmic spice.]
[The way you’ve described it, it seemed to be an edible item that could even be used to season food. In other words, as long as you were to eat just a speck of it, then your Unlimited Food Creation (Gold) talent would be able to create as many as you want of it!]
[Morvane and the others were interested in its ability to awaken innate talents. After all, none of them had awakened their own innate talents.]
[As long as the innate talents you’ve given to them via the innate talent crystal were extracted back by you, then they could awaken an innate talent that was suitable for them!]
[With that in mind, all of you planned to intercept the shattered meteor and extract the talent cosmic spice within that meteorite.]
[Although this world has its own batch of previously collected talent cosmic spice, you had no interest in them since the hint prompt had informed you that this current batch was the best in terms of quality.]
[The previous batch wasn’t that great in quality, which was the reason why the strongest Gene Warrior was only at Peak Mythril rank.]
[If they were to have used this current batch of talent cosmic spice to improve their genes and talent, they would have already broken through and become an Initial Titan rank powerhouse.]
[In other words, the previous batch of talent cosmic spice only had a limit of upgrading innate talents to SSS-rank.]
[You weren’t interested in those, as while it could be used to upgrade other lower-ranking innate talents like Invisible Force and Mental Fortification to SSS-rank, it wasn’t as important as upgrading Equivalent Exchange, Wish Maker, Future Diary, and All Stars Aligned.]
[However, it seemed that you and Zenith Train Crewmates weren’t the only ones planning to intercept the shattered meteor.]
[You all could see a drone swarm suddenly pursue the shattered meteor falling from the sky at high speeds.]
[From afar, the drone swarm looked like a bag of gleaming silver light heading towards the streaks of purple light falling from the sky.]
[Observing the drones, Jade commented, "It seemed like they don’t know that a Train Conductor’s Train Crew had arrived in this world and treated this as a station. Otherwise, they wouldn’t have just sent drones but let at least an Initial Mythril rank Gene Warrior intercept it instead."]
[As Jade commented, she immediately used time stop to not only prevent the shattered meteors from falling, but also prevent those drone swarms from taking the meteorites.]
[When you had upgraded your Order King Spirit Avatar to Peak Mythril-grade, Jade had also done the same, and she had also awakened two more spirit avatar abilities.]
[The fourth spirit avatar of Golden Time was Time Cutter. It could either summon a blade that could cut through time or imbue the power of cutting time to any weapon.]
[When a target’s time was cut, it could achieve several things, but the most common one was to cause the target’s lifespan to decrease due to time lost.]
[As for her fifth spirit avatar ability, it was none other than Time Rewind.]
[Time Rewind was self-explanatory. It could rewind the time of any object or area she used it on.]
[In this case, as soon as Jade stopped time, she immediately used her fifth spirit avatar ability, "Time Rewind!"]
[With the area she chose as the sky where the shooting star had shattered, time soon began to rewind.]
[The shattered meteor flew backwards and started to piece itself back together before it shattered, becoming whole again!]
