Skye Brown also laughed: "Yeah, Molly always said she wouldn’t stay with us during college, that she wanted to go study in another place. When she was younger, she always stuck to me, but now she loves to roam around."
Lily immediately echoed her words.
"Exactly, Ben and Abbie are the same way. When they were little, they used to vie for my attention, and now both kids are hardly at home."
Lily spoke, deliberately glancing at Aidan Lucas.
Upon seeing the man’s somber expression, obviously upset by the mention of ’Ben’, her heart grew heavier.
Skye Brown also noticed Mr. Lucas’s expression, realizing that if Molly and Abbie got engaged now, it would be a good thing for Mr. Lucas, easing the serious atmosphere of the Lucas family.
