Chapter 134: Chapter 134; I will serve you
Alina’s POV
"Thank you, Davon. I will get going now."
"Are you sure you are alright, Alina?"
I forced my lips into a tight, hollow smile. "Of course."
Reaching out, I brushed a stray hair from Leo’s forehead before taking my travel bag from Davon’s grip. Before I could pull away, his fingers wrapped firmly around my wrist. The pressure wasn’t aggressive, but it held me in place.
"Don’t hesitate to call me if you need anything," he said, his gaze locking onto mine.
"I will."
He gave a slow nod, finally releasing his grip. I turned and walked into the house, the heavy oak doors shutting out the crisp air. The moment I stepped into the foyer, the housekeepers crowded around, their faces lighting up at the sight of the little boy. After giving me a warm greeting, they gently took Leo from my arms to look after him.
The heavy silence of the upper hallway closed in on me as I retreated to my room. I sat on the edge of the mattress, the fabric twisting under my fingers as I clenched my hands into tight fists.
The memory hit like a physical strike. Lucian. Emily. Naked in that bed.
A cold shudder ran through my veins, replaced instantly by a burning flare of anger. How could he even let that happen?
A sharp knock rattled the wood, but before I could give permission, the handle turned. The door swung open, and Aiden stepped into the room.
A sarcastic scoff left his throat as he crossed his arms, leaning against the frame. "I am glad you are back. So... did you find your precious Lucian?"
I stared straight ahead, refusing to give him the satisfaction of an answer.
"It doesn’t matter if Lucian is missing anyway," Aiden continued, tossing his head back. "He will be fine. A man like him won’t die so easily."
"Aiden, I am exhausted," I whispered, the weight of the day pressing into my temples. "Please leave me alone."
"Fine," he muttered, straightening up. "I should go spend some time with my son, then."
He turned toward the threshold, but the raw bitterness in my chest broke through. "Aren’t you even worried about your so-called Luna?"
Aiden froze. He turned back slowly, his brow furrowing into lines of confusion. "What do you mean by that?"
"I don’t know," I said, a humorless laugh escaping my lips. "Emily is your wife, isn’t she? Aren’t you worried about her whereabouts? Where she is, who she’s with... did she even sleep under this roof last night?"
The confusion on his face hardened into something darker.
"What I am saying is, keep your wife in check, Aiden."
"What the hell did she do?" he demanded.
"What has she not done?" I countered, rising from the bed to face him. "She is a married woman, yet she’s still out there chasing after a man who will never want her."
Aiden’s jaw tightened, and his hands clenched into fists at his sides, the veins tracing down his forearms. A dark satisfaction washed over me, and a smirk pulled at my lips. "Are you angry? Does it make you mad? It does, right? Then go caution your wife."
Instead of exploding, the anger in Aiden’s expression slowly dissolved. A twisted, knowing smirk mirrored my own. He took a slow step forward. "Alina, if I am being completely honest with you... if Emily isn’t being faithful to me, isn’t that actually a good thing?"
The smirk died on my face, replaced by a cold knot of bewilderment. "What?"
"Think about it," Aiden murmured, his voice dropping into a smooth, unsettling cadence. "It makes it a hell of a lot easier to get rid of her. Then... we can finally be together."
Step by step, I backed away from him. "You are sick."
"Yes, I am sick," he agreed without a shred of shame, his eyes tracking my movement. "I am sick in love with you, Alina. It will always be like this. I really don’t care whatever the hell Emily does."
"She is carrying your child, Aiden!" I hissed, the horror twisting my stomach.
"That doesn’t change a single thing." He closed the distance between us, his shadow looming over me. "It’s you I want, Alina. It will always be you. I have said this before, and I will say it again—we are divorced, but our bond never broke. It is rare, Alina. I have absolutely no bond with Emily. Only with you."
I shook my head, my back pressing against the wall as he stepped into my personal space. "What are you doing?"
"I know you love Lucian," Aiden whispered, his breath hitting my skin. "And I am willing to do something I thought I never would. I am willing to share."
The air left my lungs. "What?"
"I don’t mind if I become your side piece, Alina," he said, his gaze dropping to my lips before locking back onto my eyes with an unyielding intensity. "As long as you leave a space in your heart for me... that’s all I want. And I am never going to stop."
"You are insane," I breathed, the words dripping with pure disbelief. "That will never happen."
Aiden didn’t flinch. His lips simply curled into a slow, dark smirk. "Why not, Alina?"
He reached out, his rough fingers brushing against my cheek. His palm curled around the line of my jaw, his touch heavy and burning. "You have no idea how much I yearn for you. How much I fucking need you. I am never going to stop pulling at this bond until you finally accept me. If you want to be greedy, if you want to keep multiple men in your bed—I am ready to make that sacrifice. Use me. Take whatever you want from me, but let me be there."
A cold, mocking scoff left my throat. I looked at the powerful Alpha standing before me, a sudden, wicked impulse taking root in my chest. If he wanted to play the martyr, I wanted to see how far he would break.
"Go down on your knees," I commanded, my voice flat and cold.
Aiden froze. The desperation in his eyes flickered, his fierce Alpha pride visibly warring with the raw, unhinged hunger spinning inside him. He stared at me, his jaw clenching so hard the muscle ticked.
A sharp smirk played on my lips as I leaned back against the wall, crossing my arms. "What? You can’t do it?"
Without another word, Aiden dropped.
His knees hit the hardwood floor with a heavy, echoing thud right at my feet. He tilted his head back, looking up at me from the ground, stripping away every ounce of his dignity right there on the bedroom floor.
"I will serve you, Alina," he whispered, his voice dark and completely surrendered. A wicked smirk played on my lips.
