Chapter 1413: The End Of An Era
Lenny spat a glowing glob of cosmic spit onto the red sands in obvious disgust.
The spit hissed where it landed, burning a small crater into the ground.
Without another word, he launched forward.
The collision was cataclysmic.
Lenny’s Sword of Truth met Lucifer’s Anguis with a force that shook the entire Nether Realm.
The three serpent heads of Anguis — Steal, Kill, and Destroy — lunged with world-devouring hunger, their jaws wide enough to swallow moons.
Lenny’s blade cut through the air in clean, golden arcs, each swing carrying the weight of cosmic judgment. Sparks of divine fire and shadow exploded between them, lighting up the red desert like a newborn star.
Lucifer laughed as he pressed the attack, his twelve wings beating with Morningstar power.
Dark flames erupted from his body, forming serpentine whips that lashed at Lenny’s sides. Lenny twisted mid-air, his own twelve wings flaring — the lava pair igniting to burn away the dark fire, the poison pair dripping corrosive venom that melted Lucifer’s flames on contact.
The water pair created barriers of liquid starlight that deflected Anguis’ strikes, while the star pair summoned miniature constellations that crashed down like meteors.
"You’ve grown strong, boy," Lucifer taunted, his voice echoing like thunder. "But strength alone won’t save you."
He thrust Anguis forward. The three serpents merged into one colossal dragon of darkness, jaws snapping at Lenny’s throat. Lenny met it head-on, channeling chaos magic through his crown.
The floating crown glowed brighter as chaotic energy twisted reality around the dragon — turning its own scales against it, forcing the beast to tear at its own body.
Lenny followed with a palm strike infused with dark magic and poison, slamming it into the dragon’s chest. The impact sent Lucifer skidding back across the red sands, carving a mile-long trench.
But Lucifer recovered instantly. His Morningstar aura exploded outward, divine fire turning into a storm of black suns that rained down on Lenny.
Lenny raised Michael’s Sword of Truth, the blade singing as it absorbed and redirected the attack.
Cosmic energy surged through him, and he countered with a sweeping slash that split the sky, creating a rift of pure void that tried to swallow Lucifer whole.
The battle intensified.
Lenny teleported in bursts of starlight, appearing behind Lucifer to deliver devastating kicks enhanced by his poison wings.
Each strike left burning, corrupting wounds that spread like wildfire across Lucifer’s immortal flesh.
Lucifer retaliated by summoning chains of fallen divinity — links forged from the screams of the damned — that wrapped around Lenny’s limbs, trying to crush him.
Lenny broke free with raw cosmic force, his crown pulsing as it amplified his power, turning the chains into harmless light.
They clashed again and again, each collision reshaping the landscape. Mountains of red sand rose and fell.
Rivers of liquid starfire carved new paths. The giant rock angels guarding the gate watched impassively as the two titans fought.
As the fight dragged on, something deeper began to happen.
Their strikes started carrying scenes... memories.
Lucifer swung Anguis in a wide arc, and for a moment the red sands transformed into the lush Garden of Eden.
There, a younger Lucifer laughed as he played with Adam under the trees, the two of them sharing a bond that transcended time.
The vision was warm, almost tender — until Lucifer’s face twisted with rage and the garden burned.
Lenny countered with a thrust of the Sword of Truth.
The blade cut through the illusion, replacing it with his own memory: him holding Vinegar (Death) in his arms on a quiet night, her head resting against his chest as they watched the stars.
Another strike brought forth the old gladiator pits where Lenny, still human, fought for survival, blood and sand mixing as he refused to break against demons.
The battlefield became a canvas of their shared and broken histories.
Every clash rewrote the scenery — Eden burning, Lenny’s family... smiling, gladiator arenas crumbling, the fall from Heaven replaying in fragments.
Lucifer was winning.
His Morningstar power was simply too vast. And he was far too skilled. Of cause this fed more into his pride.
Every time Lenny landed a blow, Lucifer absorbed it and grew stronger, his dark flames consuming the poison and chaos.
He drove Lenny back relentlessly, Anguis’ three serpents tearing into Lenny’s defenses. Wounds opened across Lenny’s colossal form — deep gashes that leaked cosmic energy.
"You cannot beat me, son," Lucifer said, voice booming with triumph. "I will destroy the beings that created this world. I will get my Adam back. I will remake everything the way it should have been!"
Lenny fell to one knee, breathing heavily. Blood — both cosmic and mortal — dripped from his mouth.
Lucifer towered over him, Anguis raised for the final strike.
"As a father," Lucifer said softly, almost gently, "I am proud of what you have achieved. Of what you have become. But as a lover... I must end you and take revenge for my love."
He brought the weapon down.
But before the killing blow could land, Lenny glanced to the side.
The glowing spit he had spat at the very beginning, hundreds of thousands of years ago... still shimmered on the ground, now pulsing with hidden power.
In one swift motion, Lenny stretched out his hand. The spit shot upward like a comet and slammed straight into Lucifer’s eyes.
Lucifer screamed.
The spit. It had absorbed too much from their encounter. The memories.
The love.
It was fatal.
The cosmic spit burned through his divine sight, blinding him for a critical second. Lenny surged upward with every ounce of strength left.
His hand plunged into Lucifer’s chest, fingers closing around the Morningstar’s core.
He tore it out.
The core — a blazing sphere of pure fallen divinity — pulsed wildly in his grip.
Lenny squeezed.
It exploded.
The detonation was cataclysmic — like the death of a star. If this had happened in the real universe, several galaxies would have been wiped out in an instant.
Here, in the Nether Realm, the explosion was contained, but the shockwave still shook the red sands and made the giant rock angels tremble.
Lucifer staggered back, eyes wide, his body rapidly losing cohesion.
Lenny stood to his feet, breathing hard, looking down at his father’s collapsing form.
Lucifer smiled — a small, almost peaceful smile.
"Thank you," he whispered. "I can finally rest."
His body turned to dust, scattering across the red sands until nothing remained.
The battle was over.
Lenny stood alone in the silence, the Sword of Truth still glowing in his hand, the crown floating steadily above his head.
