Chapter 1412: Meet The Dark Lady.
Lenny turned to Lucifer.
For some weird reason, as Lucifer looked into his eyes, he could tell.
Lucifer spoke, his voice quieter than usual.
"You have aged."
Lenny replied calmly, "Hundreds of thousands of years. I have seen the rise and fall of civilizations and the inner workings of the universe. I have seen stars flicker away, the machinations of your hand... and now, I am here... Father."
Lucifer frowned for a moment, then spoke again.
"That means you understand."
Lenny nodded.
Lucifer asked, "Why do you have the aura of a Morningstar?"
Lenny replied simply, "Because I am one."
Suddenly, wings appeared on his back — twelve in total, six on each side. They were not uniform. Each pair carried a different essence: some pure white like untouched snow, some flowing like molten lava, some like living water, one shimmering like distant stars, one pulsing with raw demonic energy, and one dripping like flowing poison.
At the same time, a floating crown materialized above his head — dark, regal, and radiating absolute authority.
Lucifer was visibly shocked. The fallen angels behind him stirred in disbelief.
Seraphina stepped forward, voice sharp.
"This is impossible! Lucifer searched for the Core of Hell for centuries but never found it!"
Lenny looked at her calmly.
"He never found it because I never wanted him to."
Lucifer stared at Lenny, then his gaze shifted to Alexander standing behind him. Understanding dawned.
"So... Solomon did this," he said.
Lenny smiled.
"Now you’re catching up."
Lenny opened his palm. From behind, Father Black flew over and presented Michael’s Sword of Truth in its scabbard.
Lenny took it. The moment his cosmic energy flowed through the blade, there was initial resistance — the sword fighting against a new master. But Lenny spoke softly:
"Our bond is not eternal. I only need your help against this foe."
The struggle from the sword ceased instantly. A blinding golden light erupted as the two bonded.
Everyone watching — on Earth, in the arena, even the fallen angels — was shocked. With only a few words, Lenny had bonded with the most stubborn of the Seven Forbidden Treasures, and he had done it so simply.
Lenny smiled and looked at Lucifer.
"This battle is long overdue, Father. But if we have it here, it shall destroy too much."
At that moment, Lady Death elegantly floated up beside him.
"I have a suggestion," she said.
She waved her hand. The Book of Death appeared in front of her. She opened it, removed a single page, and it transformed into a black card with smoke rising from its edges — an invitation.
The card floated between Lenny and Lucifer. A huge portal tore open beside it. From the other side came the distant screams of agonizing creatures.
Death spoke calmly.
"The Dark Lady has asked to officiate this match. It will be held in her domain — the Nether Realm. Whoever wins may make one request of the Lady."
Lenny nodded.
Lucifer nodded as well.
Lenny turned to Father Black.
"Sorry I’ll have to leave again. I have tasked Athena as Regent of Hell to assist you. If you need any help, my mother Lilith is also there. This battle will take several hundred years. I leave our people in your care."
He waved his hand. Several rings of fire flew toward his royal family.
"I prepared gifts for you all. And for the young ones who fought for our home against the angels — I have gifts for you too."
He waved again. Necklaces appeared around the necks of the young warriors.
Lenny smiled softly, then followed Lucifer through the portal.
This was it.
This battle would decide the end... or the beginning... of a new world.
The last time Lenny had been here was one of the most dreadful times of his life.
Now, he looked at the different grotesque creatures crawling through the endless darkness like a traveller simply passing through an old, familiar road. Even in this place of pure nothingness, his light shone bright — a steady, quiet radiance that refused to be swallowed. Lucifer’s light burned beside him, equally brilliant, his twelve wings fully spread, each feather glowing with fallen glory.
The two of them stood on the red sands.
The two giant angels of rock still stood guard over the huge gate, the one rumored to lead to reality itself. They had not moved in eons.
The portal that had brought them here suddenly exploded back into a black card, dissolving into smoke and vanishing into the air.
Suddenly, a voice like a distant star echoed through the void.
Pure, undiluted darkness gathered and formed the image of a person.
This was the Dark Lady.
This was Darkness — the one known as the sister of the Creator.
On seeing her, Lenny bowed respectfully. She gave him a small nod in return.
Lucifer did not bow.
She did not seem to care.
She looked like she was everything and nothing at the same time — like light itself got lost the moment it touched her.
Then she spoke, her voice calm, ancient, and carrying the weight of eternity.
"I have waited for you two far too long for an invitation I sent when your world breathed its first glow."
Both men knew exactly what those words meant.
It meant their battle had been set in stone even before creation itself.
Lenny spoke up first. "Are you sating that you predicted we will have this battle?"
"What i am saying is this... true will only continue after this battle. This has been the fate your creation since before your birth.
Every stonecarved, every star made, every laugh, every cry, every entity, as knownly or unknowingly contributed to this end.
This battle... my gift... from him."
Lucifer’s eyes brightened. "You said gift?"
She nodded. "Yes... I was promised entertainment. And I... have been entertained."
Lucifer suddenly got heated up. His anger, his pain, his suppressed rage for hundreds of thousands of years exploded out of him. Any and all nether realm creatures too close to him were instantly turned to dust.
"My life... entertainment?"
