Chapter 787: Chapter 402: Pretty Bold
That Lawrence Winters!
The man’s face changed.
Why is she following?—Is she looking for death?!
He hurriedly shouted, "Guys, that person surnamed Winters has come to us! How about finishing this job and sinking her and the car into the river together?"
The two men in front exchanged glances, "It’s her? She’s got quite the nerve."
Realizing it was Lawrence Winters, they weren’t panicked at all.
According to the information they received, this woman was just a Grand Heavenly Geomancer.
No background, and in the way of foreign Great Heavenly Masters.
Getting rid of her would allow them to buy cars and houses, ensuring a worry-free life for the rest of their days.
The men laughed and paid no heed to Lawrence Winters.
They slammed on the brakes, switched lanes, intending to drive alongside Lawrence Winters’ car, then force her car off the road until it flipped.
Lawrence Winters saw them brake and switch lanes and instantly knew what they planned.
She sneered and slammed the accelerator, quickly maneuvering in front of their car, then abruptly braked, shifting to reverse, and stomped the accelerator again.
A huge boom sounded.
Her car reversed into the one behind, scraping loudly, nearly bursting all four tires.
The three men in the car behind were dumbfounded.
Is this even driving?
Lawrence Winters watched through the rearview mirror, smirking coldly, calculating distance and force, her rhythmically pressing the accelerator, alternating between loosening and tightening, aggressively pushing the car behind backward.
The driver in the car behind snapped out of it, yelling, "Shoot! Shoot! Fire at her!"
The injured gunman switched to his left hand, aimed at Lawrence Winters’ car, and fired!
But just then, Lawrence Winters hit the reverse hard again.
His hand shook, sending the gun upward with a bang, punching a hole through the car roof.
The driver beside him quickly dodged, veering the steering wheel, causing the entire car to skid off the road and reverse toward a brick wall.
Lawrence Winters spun the wheel wildly, maneuvering the Grand Cherokee into an unbelievable angle to ram the off-road veering car again!
The driver of the car behind, driven to bloodlust by the collision, hardened his heart, and stomped the accelerator, charging forward.
Lawrence Winters sensed their intent and smirked.
Just what I wanted!
She quickly spun the steering wheel, releasing the accelerator, and the seemingly cumbersome Grand Cherokee swiftly moved aside by one car length.
The car charging forward suddenly faced no obstruction, crashing toward the brick wall on the other side of the road!
The driver was startled, instinctively continuing to stomp the accelerator instead of braking, accelerating even faster.
Boom!
Another loud crash!
The car slammed into the brick wall across the road, nearly collapsing the red brick wall painted with the white slogan "Drive safely or be fined."
Lawrence Winters had already turned around, driving behind the car ahead.
Staring at the small sedan that had crashed into the wall, its front crumpled, she felt no sympathy, but instead drove forward, ramming again!
Her heart full of fury, concern for the old Daoist’s safety, the surge of pent-up frustration all vented in each collision.
The car ahead gradually crumpled, becoming the bellows in the middle of an accordion.
The three men were squeezed in the car’s center, unable to move.
The driver in the back, trapped between the seats, had his throat pinched, eyes rolled back.
The front airbags burst out, slamming into the driver’s head, injuring him severely.
His legs were crushed, numb below his thighs.
The man beside him, arm bandaged, was hit by the airbag, crying out, contorted into a strange position across the car.
When Francis Johnson’s team arrived, they saw this scene.
A small sedan nearly squeezed into an accordion bellows shape, inside were three severely injured men.
Lawrence Winters’ Grand Cherokee was also wrecked.
But the car was sturdy; the front and rear were damaged, yet the main structure remained intact, leaving her unharmed.
She waited for them, then climbed out of her car.
The subordinate sent by Francis Johnson recognized Lawrence Winters and said, "Thank you, Miss Winters, for helping us catch the criminals."
Lawrence Winters nodded, seriously stating, "These people attempted to murder my family. Whether as a victim or a law-abiding citizen, I have a duty to act."
The men glanced at the crab-like squashed figures in the car, feeling a chill.
This girl...needs no protection from them at all.
They said little, taking tools from their car, sawing the middle apart to drag the three men out.
Their legs were mostly immobile, faces bruised and swollen, the front driver had lost teeth, could barely speak.
His head was buzzing from the crash, not hearing what anyone outside had said.
Dragged out of the car, he tried to complain, "It was all her doing! We want to sue her!"
"Sue for what exactly? You tried to kill, yet deny others the right to fight back?" A staff member mocked.
Then pulling a plastic bag, retrieved the gun from the bandaged gunman’s car, placing it inside.
The three men silenced upon seeing the gun retrieved.
Seeing them dragged out, Lawrence Winters, overflowing with rage, took advantage of a moment, rushing over to kick their broken legs several times.
Directly kicking the bandaged gunman unconscious.
The driver, tossed from his seat, pleaded, "Miss Winters, don’t hit me! I was forced! Their power is vast, I had no choice—just trying to make a living, I didn’t mean to kill you!"
Lawrence Winters paused, "Them? Who are they?"
"...I’m just a small pawn, probably fired by now." The man lamented, "I really didn’t mean to kill!"
"Didn’t mean to kill, yet fired at me?" She snorted, "Think I’m blind?"
