Chapter 786: Chapter 402: Pretty Bold
Lawrence Winters held the receiver the man handed her, glancing at the location displayed on it.
The receiver looked square, about the size of a palm, easy to hold, and could quickly display the map within a hundred miles radius.
The target was shown as a red dot, while her current location was a green dot.
She took just one glance and immediately identified the small red dot, which was the car running ahead, speeding along the Third Ring Highway, seemingly about to leave the city.
Lawrence Winters memorized the map firmly in her mind, quickly found the nearest route, and headed towards the entrance to the Third Ring Highway.
Her driving skills were already excellent, but now fueled by a burning anger, wishing to repay those bastards tooth for tooth, her driving skills were elevated to an extraordinary level.
On the weekend morning city boulevard, there weren’t many cars at this hour.
The car ahead was clearly fleeing for its life, so it was going very fast.
Lawrence Winters didn’t know if there were any other cars chasing that vehicle; she only knew she had to personally deal with those who harmed her family!
You think you’re tough? I’m tougher than you!
She didn’t understand what was happening; when she saw the Daoist fall, her heart ached until it almost stopped beating.
Even harder for her to accept than when Nick Zeller was severely injured.
She couldn’t control herself at all, her mind only had one thought: she wanted revenge!
She wanted personal revenge!
Lawrence Winters couldn’t care less about any speeding tickets now.
Traffic police could deduct all her points, but she had to catch up to the scoundrels in that car ahead!
Lawrence Winters drove the seemingly solid and clumsy Grand Cherokee like a Formula 1 car.
She entered the highway, constantly changing lanes, accelerating, switching, overtaking.
The car sped so fast it cast an afterimage, making highway vehicles scramble to dodge.
And after speeding for fifteen minutes, the car ahead finally noticed someone was chasing them.
"Boss, is the Grand Cherokee behind us insane?! I didn’t even see it in the rearview mirror just now, and in the blink of an eye, it’s popped up out of nowhere!"
"Lump, hurry up, take the next highway exit, I have a bad feeling." The speaker was the gunman who got his arm hurt.
The bullet wound was tightly bandaged, waiting to reach a safe place to find a doctor to remove the bullet.
"Hey, guys, driving the car is a woman. Wow, can’t see her face clearly, but she should be quite pretty; look at that figure!"
"Stop gawking and quickly get off. The more I worry, the more anxious I feel." The man with the bandaged arm’s brow furrowed deeper.
They quickly found an exit off the highway and dared not take the main roads, instead searching for remote paths on their phone map.
By now, they were out of Capital City, coming to an area with sparse population in the outskirts.
Of course, still relatively populated compared to downtown.
Though fewer people were here, it was the weekend morning, so there were even fewer around.
After getting off the highway, the car arrived at the agreed spot where three other cars waited.
They would each drive one car, heading in three different directions, each going their separate ways.
That car would be dumped into the river, destroying all traces.
Their plan was good, but as they were about to reach the designated spot, they found that Grand Cherokee had appeared again.
"Damn! Where did it come from?!"
"Exactly! I clearly remember it was still on the highway when we got off!"
"...Looks like it came from that side path. —Must be tracking us."
"A little chick dares to track us?! Is she out of her mind? What a waste, a pretty chick acting stupid..."
"Dumb chicks are great... You tell her what to do, and she’ll obediently listen like a pig..." The driver who flipped a car laughed slyly, his shoulders twitching.
"Enough, stop meddling. Quickly get to our agreed spot, then everyone sets off separately. Remember, don’t go in the same direction." The man with a bandaged arm reminded them again.
But it was too late.
As soon as he finished his sentence, he felt the car suddenly shake violently.
The three of them turned around simultaneously, seeing indeed it was the Grand Cherokee that had rammed them!
"Is she fucking crazy?!" The driver who flipped a car cursed, glaring, suddenly realizing the pretty chick looked familiar!
Up close, wasn’t she one of their target individuals?!
